This is a cute little cafe and the staff are warm and friendly. The coffee is great and the Sunday breakfast is tasty.

Food. I used to go to this place twice or more a week. But food quality is way down since Will left. Periodically I will go back and try it. Just went today and ordered the hibachi chicken. Sadly it was not good. Rice and chewy chicken with a few slivers of veggies. Also they used a clear plastic salad container to out the food in The container was for cold items not for hot items. Located behind Teague meat market in Chapin SC. A hop, skip, walk or drive locally to this quaint cafe. Small or one might say cozy seating choices, limited indoor & outdoor patio options. The menu is typical cafe samplers for breakfast, lunch, dinner for reasonable price. $2.50 may be common for OJ but seems high when I see it. Service was very pleasant and cordial. My main negative that is not on the business itself but the amount of flies you have to battle on patio makes enjoying meal difficult. The patio would be serene if not for this, I don't think I could sit out there again until the season changes. A local option for quick bite, bring a flyswatter or wait for indoor seating. read more

This is a cute cafe. Great layout and design. Parking is not the best so I am glad there were not too many people there. It wasn't busy but it took them a while to take my order. I got the tiramisu latte. It was wonderful. I had the French toast with eggs and bacon. Nothing extravagant. The toast was a little overcooked. Eggs needed a little salt and pepper. I probably could have made this at home. The ambience was really nice. The service was good. If I go back it will definitely be for the latte. read more

I go to a lot of coffee houses, most have no clue how to make espresso. This place gets it. Brew espresso directly into the already heated up vessel. They did both, with style. My wife and I both love coffee but have varying tastes and what we want in a coffee, this place pleased both palates. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, one person said to get it on brioche and the other said a bagel. I chose bagel but the brioche was probably a better option. My wife liked her quiche. I noticed they also have beer and wine. If we lived closer it would be my everyday coffee shop. read more

Wife and I had started our 4am trek to Charleston for our anniversary weekend. At around 8am we needed caffeine to carry us further. We found this local spot a few minutes off I-26. The breakfast menu seemed to have everything we'd need for a pit stop. They have a nice outside patio and plenty of indoor seating. The staff was upbeat, kind and patient as we chose coffee first then food. I opted for the americano (black coffee with 2 espresso shots) and my wife had the Samoa latte. We both enjoyed those, and settled on a homemade chicken salad and a egg sandwich on an everything bagel. The food came out quick and fresh and the conversation from the owner/manager was as rewarding as the freshly roasted early morning beans! I ended up buying a steel hands brown ale for a friend who collects various random brews. Great local spot and fantastic way to recharge for our relaxing weekend getaway. read more

As this was a ToGo order I was very disappointed when I arrived home, and, trying to be objective about the Bland Taste I immediately called voicing my displeasure. Randomly stopped in here for lunch. Grabbed a grilled chicken sandwich and it was very delicious. The bread was a little thicker, almost like texas toast which gave substance. Never thought to eat lunch here until today and it was SO GOOD!! The Ahi tuna wrap with the aioli sauce was delicious as well as the hibachi chicken. Visiting town and stumbled upon this jewel. My iced mocha and breakfast were both delish. Whitley is so nice. Will is not only kind but also has such a great understanding of coffee etc. that he helped me understand why I prefer oat milk to almond or coconut. Much appreciated! Was passing through and found this place for breakfast. What an incredibly nice location. Very local. Amazing scones, muffins, and coffee selection. You can tell the owners are extremely passionate about their craft. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, an omelet, some muffins and a scone. All delicious. We also got to try a sampling of some new Smores Frozen hot chocolate. Very, very good. Can't wait to come back and try lunch next time through. read more

My mom is the biggest coffee snob I have ever met and she loves the coffee here. The baked goods are great, and the people are so sweet. We sometimes go here for lunch and we usually get the specials. Today we went and had the Tuna Sammich and it was extremely good. This place is not something you'd expect in a small town like Chapin.
