I go to a lot of coffee houses, most have no clue how to make espresso. This place gets it. Brew espresso directly into the already heated up vessel. They did both, with style. My wife and I both love coffee but have varying tastes and what we want in a coffee, this place pleased both palates. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, one person said to get it on brioche and the other said a bagel. I chose bagel but the brioche was probably a better option. My wife liked her quiche. Wife and I had started our 4am trek to Charleston for our anniversary weekend. At around 8am we needed caffeine to carry us further. We found this local spot a few minutes off I-26. The breakfast menu seemed to have everything we'd need for a pit stop. They have a nice outside patio and plenty of indoor seating. The staff was upbeat, kind and patient as we chose coffee first then food. I opted for the americano (black coffee with 2 espresso shots) and my wife had the Samoa latte. We both enjoyed those, and settled on a homemade chicken salad and a egg sandwich on an everything bagel. The food came out quick and fresh and the conversation from the owner/manager was as rewarding as the freshly roasted early morning beans! I ended up buying a steel hands brown ale for a friend who collects various random brews. Great local spot and fantastic way to recharge for our relaxing weekend getaway. read more

Visiting town and stumbled upon this jewel. My iced mocha and breakfast were both delish. Whitley is so nice. Will is not only kind but also has such a great understanding of coffee etc. that he helped me understand why I prefer oat milk to almond or coconut. Much appreciated! Was passing through and found this place for breakfast. What an incredibly nice location. Very local. Amazing scones, muffins, and coffee selection. You can tell the owners are extremely passionate about their craft. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, an omelet, some muffins and a scone. All delicious. My mom is the biggest coffee snob I have ever met and she loves the coffee here. The baked goods are great, and the people are so sweet.
