Adorable cafe with so much potential! When I first visited As Well As, I was immediately obsessed. The space was shared between a yoga studio, gift shop, and cafe, and the decor was so cute. I loved all the plants, pastel pink furniture and accents, and natural light. The ambiance was very calming - perfect for getting some work done or just chatting with a friend. However, both times I visited, the cafe was out of a portion of their menu. The first time, they weren't able to make Acai Bowls. Instead, I ordered the Iced Rosewood (made as a latte), which was very good. The flavor was like a more interesting Iced Chai, and I enjoyed the pink color. My second visit, they couldn't make any lattes because the espresso machine was broken. Instead, I got an Iced Coffee with lavender syrup and almond milk, which was just okay. However, I was able to try the Protein Acai Bowl this time, which I loved. They were out of blueberries, but all the other toppings went great together, and the base had the perfect level of sweetness. I also appreciated that the bowl itself resembled a coconut. Service was super friendly, but on the slower side, so it's best to visit when you're not in a rush. Overall, a super cute place that just needs a bit more consistency - would return!
This place was not obvious driving past it due to the lack of functioning signage. Upon arriving, it is a mix of yoga studio and juice bar, an obvious synergy I'm surprised I don't see more of. There were a few people sitting in the airy seating area up front who were there for the cafe, as well as various yoga people walking by. As açaí bowls go, the one I got here was quality. Pricey, for sure, but with vegan protein and a strong unsweetened fruity base couple with a nice mix of toppings, there was plenty to be said for it on a nutritional level, and every bite was interesting. They had plenty of other smoothies and toppings so if you want to go all out on it, this is one of what I suspect is a small number of options in central South Carolina. They also had free wifi and it was a good space to sit with a laptop. Not able to comment on the yoga side of things.
Loved everything about this place. Ordered a simple iced vanilla latte. They make their own syrups which was amazing. Couldn't decide what toast to get so I got the flight with both kinds- both amazing. Sweet & savory. The girls working were nice. It was very quiet inside with plenty of available seating on a Sunday morning! Would definitely recommend and will plan on stopping by again next time in Columbia!

It felt like they didn't skimp on anything and it was good. Sweet sitting area in the lobby. I will go back more prepared with a book to stay for a bit!
Best smoothies out there (mama's muffins is my favorite... but you can't go wrong). And they're healthy too (no hidden sugar or syrups). They've got great coffee & espresso drinks, a great atmosphere, and a great community inside.
This place is super fresh. Clean, bright, chill house beats kicking. Service from Hannah who's outgoing and helpful. I got a mint Açaí bowl with plant based protein. Tasted great! Plenty of lounge chairs and tables if you want to post up and get some work done too.
Columbia's best-kept coffee and smoothie secret! Coffees are all amazing and the menu has fantastic smoothies/açaí bowls. Everything is fresh, delicious, and nutritious - plus, the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating! The Well Cafe is also an amazing study/work environment with the cutest furniture and decorations. Perfect for Instagram!

Great little quiet study spot! Very bougie, bright, well-lit feel. Outlets are accessible and chairs are so comfy. I wish they were open longer hours, but I'll gladly come again during the day.

This truly is my favorite spot! The best way I can describe As Well As is a reset, a wellness oasis if you will... like the luxury of being able to get your morning matcha/coffee then be able to shop for a new workout set and skin care while waiting for your yoga class to start?? Are you kidding me? Where has this been my whole life! After a killer session with StudioFire it's so nice to just unwind, and get yourself the most delicious smoothie imaginable! (Not to mention the ingredients are so clean and healthy! I'm talking no added sugar's no BS, there is no guilt when ordering your post workout bowl) The space is so comfortable, it's so hard nowadays to find such and inclusive and positive atmosphere where you feel like you can truly talk to anybody. The consistently great vibe here, paired with all the new things they bring into rotation in both the boutique and café, this is my favorite place in Columbia!

Visited for the first time today and as soon as I walked in it felt like a cozy little spot to curl up with a good novel and have some lunch. It it nicely decorated and the barista was very nice and helpful with menu options. I got the blueberry hemp and it was very refreshing. Will be back. They have other services such as massages, a sauna as well as yoga. I will be back! read more

As Well As is an adorable coffee spot. Sharing space with a studio, it's the perfect spot for wellness and coffee, and offers beautiful seating and fun shopping. Their drinks are innovative and functional. I got a beetroot rose iced latte which was tasty. Our barista was very sweet and hard working, and was apologetic for delay, which was no problem at all read more

This is such a great new coffee shop. The vibe is so cool, lots of plants and colors make the atmosphere vibrant and inviting. I had one of the wellness lattes (The Stay Golden); one of the best lattes I've had (And tumeric in an espresso drink is so clever). The coffee was also excellent. I haven't yet had one of their many smoothie options, but might try one next time. It's one of the only coffee shops on Rosewood which is cool. Very spacious and all the employees are so kind. 12/10 would recommend! read more
