Just moved to the area and found this place. Great food, service and price. A definite new favorite.

Super convenient to downtown Lexington with good food and good service. There are several restaurants and shops in this part of the complex but if you're looking for a country style restaurant, this is it. There are a ton of choices with new specials each day. Their lunch prices are unbeatable and they serve breakfast food all day. The inside of the restaurant is one large open space with booths along the edge and tables in the middle. The staff and kitchen hustles food out constantly. Plus their portions are huge!

This was a wonderful surprise, I have lived in the areas for quite a while and decided to give them a try. They have good reviews for a reason, the real deal!!! We popped in a for a quick lunch on a Monday. The inside has plenty of seating area, we decided to sit at the bar area. Menu has something for everyone, most people where coming in for breakfast. They are very busy as well, waitress let us know that they close at 2p daily. The staff was attentive and helpful. We ordered our food and Yasssss in deed the food was amazing!! Our food came out extremely fast, everything was delicious and hot!! We had the chicken and catfish meal, serving size was more than enough for lunch. Oh did I mention the prices are fair for what you receive. The sweet tea was on point also.... The menu has quite abit and they have a daily special. I highly recommend if your in the area to check them out. We are so glad we did!!

Very average. Food was as average as it gets. Frozen hamburger steak, reconstituted mashed potatoes and jarred gravy. There's no real cooking going on with what I ordered. Service was decent and the atmosphere is ok too but there's 2 considerable issues. One is the distance to the bathroom. It's insane. It's so far I simply couldn't walk it. I have limited mobility and my husband said it was every bit of 100 yards away. I'm not even sure how that's possible but it wasn't doable. Parking is the other issue. We had to park across the footbridge. It's very unlevel getting to the restaurant and was difficult for me. Handicapped spots were few.

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and got seated within 5 minutes. Service was quick and friendly. They have Fox News playing a couple TVs. Older crowd. Food was okay, but not great. For the price it's a pretty good value. We asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and the cold cheese was sprinkled on top of the eggs after cooking - not even melted. The French toast came out lukewarm. The hash browns and pancakes are great!

Bacon breakfast and a pancake. Delicious. Love the fluffy pancake.

We tried Creekside yesterday for the first time. the breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to go back to try lunch. The service is great, prompt and friendly. the old mill exposed stones and local art make the atmosphere inviting. Highly recommend!

Food was sooo good I'm going 2 days in a row! Very good portions for the price. So much so that I struggled to finish. Will be going back to maybe try something different. Service is a little different, but no one was rude.

Our waitress Emily was so sweet, attentive and friendly. She made sure to break the menu down for me so I won't be surprised with any extra charges and I was very appreciative of that. The eggs were cooked so soft...my country style potatoes were seasoned great and delicious, my pancake was cooked to perfection and still Fluffy. My son enjoyed his breakfast as well. He had the pancake with strawberries, w/ bacon on the side. His bacon was cooked just how he liked it...not to mention the peach mimosa hit the spot. Thank you for such a great meal and chill ambiance vibe!

Our server was very pleasant and friendly, seemed to enjoy her job, and immediately asked us what we wanted to drink. We both went for coffee, of course. Both my wife and I thought the coffee was too weak for our taste. I ordered eggs Benedict with home fries. Now to be honest, Eggs up Grill is a diner with a catchy name, but I would say they did a great job on my Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was well constructed, smooth and had a nice lemony tang. My fries were okay, but could have been a bit warmer. My wife ordered French toast with turkey sausage. She was non plussed. She remarked that while the first bite of her sausage patty was good, the second bite was watery. Her French toast was just so so. Eggs up Grill offers decent food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff, but the regular coffee needs an upgrade and as well as the French toast. I would definitely go again for the Eggs Benedict but I may have to go alone.

Even though the writeup on the cappuccinos boasted a couple of espresso shots, it still come throughout a bit on the weak side for me. I ordered a Belgian waffle with pecans and my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. The waffle was light and fluffy as expected with a good flavor, but but I guess I prefer a regular waffle with not as much air. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, but I opted for some hot sauce when I ate my half. In the past, we've had some of the baked goods here and they've been good. I think there's a lot of attention to detail by the owners, a commitment to good service and above average food at a fair price. We will be back.

Now mind you there were a lot of empty tables with "reserved" on them at that point. Fast forward an hour later, because we didn't get a txt from them, we went in to see what the story was. They proceeded to tell us it would be another 30 minutes. Also the seats that had "reserved" on them were still empty! They said they would take care of us, and walked us over to the bar side, and told us we would have to stand at the counter to eat! I was fuming. The other three from my party walked out, while i proceeded to tell the manager this was extremely poor service! All he could say was they were busy. I pointed out the empty tables that were empty when we first walked in an hour ago and are still empty! They finally gave us one of those tables. We were out in an hour and guess what ...... there were still empty tables with "reserved" on them! Would NOT recommend this place to anyone! My suggestion is to go someplace else!! Like I said, our waitress was extremely nice and couldn't apologize enough.

When the British Bulldog calls itself a "pub", I feel like it's one of the very few places that takes that moniker to heart. Even though it's located in somewhat of a strip-mall setting, once you walk inside the building, you're amazed by the authenticity of the inside. Personally, I loved the brick and wood that made up the interior, which gave the restaurant the realistic "pub" vibe that I mentioned earlier. Furthermore, I loved the framed, and hanging, soccer flags, which was a marked contrast to the professional and college sports paraphernalia at your typical American sports bar. I walked in kind of late, and just sat at the bar, which still made for a great experience. Even though it's an English restaurant, they still had a lot of the popular local and domestic beers, to go along with the more English-themed beverages. I asked if they had any "sours", and the bartender was kind enough to offer me a sample of the two (2) sours that they had on tap, and let me choose the one I liked the most. The aforementioned bartender was great, and I overheard him offering some folks from out-of-town with recommendations for nearby late-night spots and high-quality local joints. Finally, my simple order of chicken tenders and fries was pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed their steak-cut "chips," or French Fries. All-in-all, I waited too long to try out the British Bulldog, which was a great pub experience that definitely lived up to my high expectations. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and in turn, would recommend it to anybody else!
