I can't do "half-stars", but I will bump up my 3-star to 4.5-stars. We have gone back and have had good experiences with both the food and service. I'm trying to recall the contrast between the first experience and now, I'm thinking that perhaps the sizes have increased because if they remained small, I think I would remember that (we have patronized at least a couple times since the original review). We have tried several times to eat here and honestly each time it gets worse. Our service today was the worst I have had ever. We waited over an hour for our table (fine no biggie I get that) but when we got sat our server got the drink order, brought it to them, took their food order then after we waited another 15 min came and got our drink order. We waited another ten minutes for waters. We watched our waitress great another table, bring them their drinks and then check on another table while we waited for our water. Good news it was open on Easter Sunday and the wait staff was very good. My first visit to this location. Got the lemon pancake meal, with link sausage. It was good, but not over the top, and the pancakes were huge, I would have liked smaller ones. Other things about the meal were normal. Eggs were scrambled, but I thought might have been powdered, as they didn't exactly taste as good as, say, Waffle House eggs (used to be before the egg crisis). I'm in town visiting a friend and we decided to try this place. When we arrived we had about a 20min wait, which was ok. When we got to table is when we had issues. The server took our drinks and order, and 45min later we received everything. Although it was busy, the issue is they're not organized and efficient.. and they're understaffed. Which makes all the different when running a pretty popular franchise. The food wasn't much to be desired either, the pics in the site makes it look incredible and enticing to go there, but that's it! I got the Bourbon pancakes, the rum sauce was already on the pancakes and soaked in the pancakes. The pancakes did not taste like they were from scratch, and I'm fairly certain the eggs were powdered mix. Either way, I was pretty underwhelmed and disappointed with the experience. This location is better than the Devine street location. The food was also much better here. The staff were very nice and customer service was very good as well. While they are crowded, it's worth the wait. The inside was very clean. It's a small space can be a bit noisy, we had no problem talking to each other. We had the Madi Gras Omelette, Country Power Bowl, and the Lemon Pound Cake French toast! The food was amazing!! I do plan to return to try several other things on the menu. Them biscuits, idk who made them but listen you can tell they are homemade and made fresh! They were so big, soft, and moist - didn't even need butter! Management and wait staff are apologetic, but it has become regular. Food still a cut above for the area. Taking a break for a bit and hopefully the service issues are addressed. Always packed so we prechecked online for a 30 minute wait. It was actually an hour and it was worth the wait. Our server Angela and her team players were exceptional. The menu is exciting and their bloody Mary mix I had in lieu of tomato juice made me take a bottle home! What made this exciting too was a lobster and brie omelet. I just had to try. My little family took me here on Mother's Day! I love having brunch on Mother's Day and this place has always been able to deliver some good food. My only complaint is the wait. I went online to reserve my spot before we left the house and it said the wait was 20-30 mins. Well, we arrived at the 25 minute mark and waited an extra hour before we snagged some seats at the bar for all four of us. My oldest had the apricot and streusel pancakes. He loved it. My husband had some kind of breakfast sandwich I think and he liked his meal as well. My youngest ate all of his chocolate chip pancakes and my shrimp and grits hit the spot! I had been craving some shrimp and grits and I liked them before here, so I got some. Think busy diner with lots of beautiful natural light! Well, we got up early for our yearly breakfast treat at Another Broken Egg. It was really great with new additions to the menu. I had the hash brown benny that was so good. My Bride ordered Huevos Rancheros which was also a winner after tasting them. We split the City Grits and bourbon pecan pancakes, both pictured. Small clean restaurant that is open for breakfast and brunch. Although a little pricey, they serve quality food in generous portions. Our server, Monica, was friendly, prompt and on the spot. The menu is loaded with a variety of items that you wouldn't find at most restaurants. I ordered a Mardi Gras omelette filled with shrimp, crab, peppers, andouille sausage and cheese topped with a tomato hollandaise. It offered potatoes or grits for the side and came with English Muffins. Everything was perfect. My wife ordered a Bourbon Street breakfast combo. It had a three stack of pancakes with bananas, nuts and a bourbon syrup rich with flavor. It also came with eggs and a seven inch andouille sauce (other choices were available). She said everything was great. We also had coffee, tea and two brunch cocktails. The tea was $3.79, the coffee was $3.99 which seems pricey, but offered refills and a to go. I sipped on a Mimosa which seemed small for the price. Overall, we will definitely go back to try other great menu items. We were so focused on eating, we didn't take any photos. read more

We have been 3 times since opening day and every time has been great. With the last time being the best. We had a waitress from the Columbia location and she was just phenomenal. We thought we would try this place since our gym is iin the same parking lot, lol. Put our name on list at 855am and was told 35 minutes. They asked if I preferred inside or outside. I said whichever is quicker. They ask for your number so you can get a text when the table is available. Love that. But that's it. We waited and decided to check at 945am how much longer. I was told we were 7th on the list and it would be under 30 minutes. WTH!!! I removed ourselves from list. What upset us the most was when we drove out of the parking lot and saw the outside seating. IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY, NOT BEING USED! Seriously, don't offer outside if you are not using it. The "kids" manning the front need to be educated on how to realistically calculate waiting time. They were just spouting numbers with no sense of what they were doing. So no review on food. They need to train their frontline people better. Wasted nearly an hour for nothing. But congrats, this place got a 1 star for our time. read more
