I'm not usually one to write a negative review but i want to save others from wasting their time and money. The set up is cute and has a lot of potential to be a really great space. The lack of care into the curation of drinks and having a nice environment to sit down and enjoy coffee/do work was so overwhelming. The barista was obviously too busy for what he could handle, and I did feel bad for him. However, he moved so incredibly slow for the amount of orders he had. I got a french press and there were grounds in my cup and he didn't give back my mug I gave him to put my coffee in. The cold foam also came out as hot steamed milk! There were signs for a barista wanted so no hate towards the place, just trying to help them in the future

This is the perfect casual date spot! Tons of personal areas for conversations. Coffee, beer, wine, books and children's books. Outside had even more seating! Proceeds benefit those with intellectual disabilities.. this place is a gem

    Cozy little book nook.

Love this little coffee shop just outside of downtown Lexington! Perfect for meeting friends or colleagues for coffee, great for meetings, or time alone in the book nook with a cup of coffee, beer, or glass of wine. Love the outdoor seating options! And gluten free friendly snack options.

Love this little place. Great coffee, small selection of baked goods but GOOD and gluten free options. Lots of space to spread out and work or chill. They always have chill times spinning to enjoy very nice space outside for kids to play or hang with friends. Deck overlooking wooded area is quite peaceful. Close to I-20 so you can hop on and off to work- also RIGHT off downtown Lexington. They have a non profit organization their profits support so u can enjoy a cool place while supporting a good cause

And I'm a faster so I hadn't eaten anything except that coffee and it gave me upset stomach. And I'm a regular coffee drinker super regular, and I have never tasted a cold brew this week, and there was so much sweeter in it that's all I could taste. Not to mention that they continue taking orders from the drive-thru and they serve them first before a walk-up and it was about 101° outside. So I will never come back here again. Maybe there are other products are good but I had some locals tell me that I should have avoided that place Don't know what that meant but I wish they had told me that before I went there.

The ambience is quite pleasant, high tin ceilings, reminiscent of the old drugstores of years gone by. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. We both started out with cappuccinos. Even though the writeup on the cappuccinos boasted a couple of espresso shots, it still come throughout a bit on the weak side for me. I ordered a Belgian waffle with pecans and my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. The waffle was light and fluffy as expected with a good flavor, but but I guess I prefer a regular waffle with not as much air. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, but I opted for some hot sauce when I ate my half. In the past, we've had some of the baked goods here and they've been good. I think there's a lot of attention to detail by the owners, a commitment to good service and above average food at a fair price. We will be back.
