What is city without an independently owned book store. Not much if you ask me,luckily for the great people of Columbia we have All Good Books. Today we went there for John T Edge book signing and discussion about his memoir House Of Smoke. Not only did I get a signed copy of the book I participated in the Q&A discussion at the end of the talk this afternoon. Really great experience at my local book store. Huge fan of this establishment.

Wonderful selection, kind and insightful staff, beautiful place to have a drink and read.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this super chic bookstore! It's so cute inside. They even have an area for children to play, which I thought was super cool. They have a small bar area for drinks. I thought it was another really cute addition to the vibe. They have an extended area towards the back of the bookstore with additional genres and seating. It was fun, and the employees were very nice. The prices are what you'd expect for the area and the time we're living in, as well as a boutique-style bookstore. None of the prices were totally unreasonable. I purchased two children's books and one book for myself. They have a pretty cool selection. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring their selection and just watching people enjoy their beverages, which include coffee, beer, and wine. That is so well-suited as you browse the shelves. It was also nice to see people having conversations in their various seating areas as well as socializing in the convening areas. The children's section is a great addition. I definitely want to try a coffee or a glass of wine on my next visit.

Small book store with some good finds. Clean place with friendly people. Just came in to browse so didn't buy anything.

Beautiful space, welcoming staff, cozy reading books and some space in the back to grab a bite and read. It has many genres, a good mix of authors, and a little something for everyone. It also has some options for kids.

Happy Sunday! After service, hubby and I decided to stop in and grab a book for" our book date" we…read morehave every month. We purchase a book based on the subject, or just a general book. We both read our book for the month, come together with our wine, and charcuterie board then discussed parts of the book that impacted us in some way. Really exciting and fun, to not only highlight the book but just coming together conversing. I absolutely love Barnes & Noble! If you're a reader you know:) So if you're relaxing today, snuggle up with a good book from Barnes & Noble. They have great selections and I promise you will find a book that won't break the bank. Happy reading!

Many, many years ago there used to be a Woodhill Mall at this location. It was pretty dismal. Now…read moreit's the Shoppes at Woodhill, and it has a whole new vibe including a relatively new Barnes and Noble. And that turns out to be a bookstore with a lot of good things about it. First, it's big, spacious, clean, lots of seating spaces. Second, it's got a lot of books in a lot of genres. And third, and least important to us, it's got a lot of other stuff that isn't books -- things like gifts, etc. -- that add up to a store welcoming to visitors with all sorts of interests. Our primary interest is books, and we found many to like here. Unlike some BN stores, they carry a lot of classics in different publishing formats. There are large sections of popular fiction and nonfiction, and very appealing and diverse cookbook and mystery sections. We really enjoyed our visit here, and we appreciated the friendliness of the staff. We didn't need any help in our searches, but they are quick and efficient in the checkout. All in all, a very good experience, and we can recommend this store without hesitation.

It is a queer bookstore…read moremeaning most of the books on their shelves have queer themes, but they really had a great selection with lots of different genres. It was really nice. It's very quaint and cozy and even has a little book nook for children. Oh and I can't forget that there also a coffee shop. I didn't buy any coffee, but it's nice to know if I wanted to I could. Now it is a little difficult to find as it is tucked inside this other building so just look for The Arcade building that has the Asian noodle restaurant. It's in that building down the hall. I absolutely cannot wait to go back. If you're in the area and you love a cozy little bookstore you've got to stop by. The staff are really nice and helpful. It was just an awesome vibe!
