Eggs up grill is a popular breakfast spot around Lexington. The one we visited was in a small strip mall just off Sunset Blvd. When we walked in, no one was at the hostess desk, but in less than a minute, she appeared and showed us to our table. Our server was very pleasant and friendly, seemed to enjoy her job, and immediately asked us what we wanted to drink. We both went for coffee, of course. Both my wife and I thought the coffee was too weak for our taste. I ordered eggs Benedict with home fries. Now to be honest, Eggs up Grill is a diner with a catchy name, but I would say they did a great job on my Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was well constructed, smooth and had a nice lemony tang. My fries were okay, but could have been a bit warmer. My wife ordered French toast with turkey sausage. She was non plussed. She remarked that while the first bite of her sausage patty was good, the second bite was watery. Her French toast was just so so. Eggs up Grill offers decent food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff, but the regular coffee needs an upgrade and as well as the French toast. I would definitely go again for the Eggs Benedict but I may have to go alone. read more

Comfort Food and chill Vibe! If you're looking for a spot that has great food, nice ambience and amazing customer service, then you have to check this spot out in Rock Hill South Carolina. Our waitress Emily was so sweet, attentive and friendly. She made sure to break the menu down for me so I won't be surprised with any extra charges and I was very appreciative of that. The eggs were cooked so soft...my country style potatoes were seasoned great and delicious, my pancake was cooked to perfection and still Fluffy. My son enjoyed his breakfast as well. He had the pancake with strawberries, w/ bacon on the side. His bacon was cooked just how he liked it...not to mention the peach mimosa hit the spot. Waitress was nice. The issue we had was we waited 40 minutes for our food to come out. The crabocado came out cold and the only thing that was good, the potatoes were semi warm at best and did not have a good flavor. I'm surprised this place has such a high rating for less than great food. My eggs I ordered over easy, they came out with the yolks hard. This place is popular so if you visit during peak hours there will be a bit of a wait. Our waitress is so kind with the best attitude and our food always delicious. We feel at home here. Horrible experience. The new server Pamela was definitely high on something. It took her 20 minutes just to take our order for coffee and juices. She smelled of old cigarette smoke and stale coffee. She started to tell us about her divorce but I stopped her and told her we weren't interested in her problems. Honey, do away with the purple lip gloss, y'all look like a tramp. It was delicious, I never had the sandwich before here. It came out nice, hot, and toasted on the brioche bun. The blueberry muffins are my faves and I had them before. They definitely taste more better when you come in the restaurant. My grandma had the Waffle Sandwich and the home fries. She said; they were pretty good and she never had the waffle sandwich or home fries before. Our server was very attentive as well. Overall, we had a great experience. I recommend the blueberry muffin, their scrambled eggs, and their pancakes based on my experiences here. Please note, I'm only talking about my experience and my grandma experience. What a fantastic difference I experienced when dining here, as opposed to my last experience here. The service was top notch, from the host sitting my friend and I with a friendly smile to our server who gave us wonderful service too. My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict with a fruit cup and I ordered the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict with a fruit cup. Both meals were delicious! I loved the toast the crab cake Benny came on and the crab cakes themselves were very good too. The poached eggs on my plate were cooked perfectly with no runny egg white to be found anywhere, just a perfect runny egg yolk. The hollandaise sauce was rich and buttery, making every bite perfect! As we devoured our meals, our server kept our drinks filled. The whole atmosphere was great, as it suits the feel of a yummy breakfast diner. It was pretty packed when we got there and it was still pretty packed when we left. I will most certainly be returning back to this establishment more. This is really up and coming for the CSRA, Bee my server was prompt, energetic and poise. I really like how the staff supports each other from the team effort and energy they put into their customers and each other from the top of the ladder to the bottom. I will definitely return with my family and friends. Also, Mrs. Walker who was not my server was a magnet and a force own her own. Very uncommon to see a server who unconditionally checks on the entire floor while keeping her customers in the know in a timely fashion. Service was okay. There were only two of us. I washed my hands I the rest room and she brought back the other person's food before mine. I got an expensive vegetable omelet. They had a list of veggies under it, which I took off the jalapeños and tomatoes from the list. They charged me $10.49 for the omelet plus .99 for the peppers and spinach, even though they were listed under the veggies. I was told it was rung up wrong and then was told that they changed it. My mother was seated for nearly 10 minutes without a server coming to her table. She stated that female servers walked past her several times without acknowledging or greeting her. What was particularly concerning was that when another family of four arrived, they were immediately greeted and attended to by a server after being seated. Given the noticeable difference in how my mother and the other family were treated, I am deeply concerned that race may have played a role in the lack of service she received. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be made to feel ignored or unwelcome, especially on a day that should have been a happy and memorable occasion. I also attempted to contact your location by phone so that I could address the situation directly, but no one answered my call. That only added to my frustration and disappointment. My mother will not be returning to your establishment. I intend to bring this matter to corporate management and document my experience publicly, including on social media, so that the appropriate parties are aware of what occurred. What should have been a happy start to my mother's 68th birthday instead ended in disappointment. At the very least, she deserved to be acknowledged, welcomed, and treated with basic courtesy and respect. I would appreciate a prompt response explaining how this incident will be addressed and what steps will be taken to ensure that other customers do not experience similar treatment.

YES his voice was elevated the few times he cheered, YES there were SIX other children of varying ages in the restaurant all making noises (as all children do), YES it is a very casual restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, and YES there was a grown man sitting at a table near them talking on the phone, on speaker I will point out, for several minutes. So to say that both her and our friend were shocked would be the understatement of the year. We have visited this restaurant on countless occasions, with friends, with my wife, with my children, purchased freezer meals from them, done our parts of supporting a small local business, all to be told to quiet our child down who was making far less noise than many other people were in this restaurant. My wife spent most of her young adult and adult career working in and managing numerous successful restaurants spanning an almost 11 year period. I am appalled, disgusted, and saddened at this clear lack of compassion, professionalism, and customer service. And we wonder why moms are fearful to take their children out in public these days. We will unfortunately not return to Momma Rabbits, ever.

The aforementioned bartender was great, and I overheard him offering some folks from out-of-town with recommendations for nearby late-night spots and high-quality local joints. Finally, my simple order of chicken tenders and fries was pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed their steak-cut "chips," or French Fries. All-in-all, I waited too long to try out the British Bulldog, which was a great pub experience that definitely lived up to my high expectations. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and in turn, would recommend it to anybody else!

My family and I are regulars to this location and rarely, if at all have issues but todays visit wasn't anything to be impressed about. We were sat down to a table that had a huge puddle of water on and under it and on one of the chairs. The hostess was great and quickly cleaned it but once the waitress arrived she blamed them for seating us before it was cleaned, seemed like a legitimate point until she took over and we realized that she was too interested in socializing with her boyfriend (seated right next to us) than taking care of her customers. She took our order but only 2 of the 3 meals came out and once again she blamed the issue on something other than her lack of interest. Food wasn't good and and not once did she come by to see if we needed refills, we actually had to flag her down to get what we wanted. Once we were ready to pay our bill, she was at the exit door for several minutes socializing with her boyfriend once again. Hopefully our next visit will return to the great service we're accustomed to but for todays visit it's 2 stars. read more

Meant to write a review earlier this week. Service was amazing! I'm not a regular there in fact I've been there maybe 4 or 5 times, but when I do go to this restaurant they NEVER disappoint. I was there on Tuesday morning of this week to pick up an order my friend had ordered and the Hostess there greated me with a big smile and was amazing. I did have to wait a little to be greeted because there was a bit of a line at the front and I could tell she was a little overwhelmed with the amount of people, but she treated each customer with respect and did her job efficiently and the environment of the entire restaurant had that same vibe she had. The hostess quickly checked on my order and handed it to me within 5 minutes. Just a quick shout out to her and her coworkers and I will definitely be back to dine in. read more

I would pick this affordable spot each time I wanted to go out for breakfast if I lived closer! I'm leaving four stars only because our wait time was 45 min. And we had a reservation. It then took almost 25 min. For our food to come out so by the time we had finished our meal we had missed an appointment. I think it's just proof of how amazing the food and atmosphere is at this restaurant! It was bursting at the seams! I got a bacon avocado sandwich and mimosas! Eggs cooked perfectly, Gluten free pancake was delicious! (I have celiac) Coffee was ok! The Bad They served me grit soup! Had to mix with my eggs to thicken and still had to use spoon! They had little flavor cause the cook used to much water! Ruined it for me! The Ugly The Bacon was terrible! I could not finish it! It's like they put it in a steamer to keep warm! I like bacon a little chewy! But this was a gelatin consistency! For me not to eat bacon, there is some serious issues! I'll try again to see if this was a one time issue! read more

Hands down the best waitress's in Lexington! A positive experience every time we go, and we have been going consistently for at least 2 years. Food is consistently delicious - have never had a bad meal there. The atmosphere is inviting which matches the top notch staffing. The only downside is the wait time--it can take a while to be seated, especially during peak hours. That being said, once you're in, the service and food make up for it. My mother was seated for nearly 10 minutes without a server coming to her table. She stated that female servers walked past her several times without acknowledging or greeting her. What was particularly concerning was that when another family of four arrived, they were immediately greeted and attended to by a server after being seated. Given the noticeable difference in how my mother and the other family were treated, I am deeply concerned that race may have played a role in the lack of service she received. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be made to feel ignored or unwelcome, especially on a day that should have been a happy and memorable occasion. I also attempted to contact your location by phone so that I could address the situation directly, but no one answered my call. That only added to my frustration and disappointment. My mother will not be returning to your establishment. I intend to bring this matter to corporate management and document my experience publicly, including on social media, so that the appropriate parties are aware of what occurred. What should have been a happy start to my mother's 68th birthday instead ended in disappointment. At the very least, she deserved to be acknowledged, welcomed, and treated with basic courtesy and respect. I would appreciate a prompt response explaining how this incident will be addressed and what steps will be taken to ensure that other customers do not experience similar treatment.
