Over the years I was told I had to visit this place. I tried several times over the years, but their hours always didn't matchup with my schedule. Food, for a South Carolina BBQ joint, was average. I didn't find the hash particularly good, but the fried chicken and pork bbq were good. Veggies were average for the area--but I think most places have lost the ability to cook veggies to the old southern standard. Service was average as was the small desert offering. If I happen to be right there, and they happen to be open, and I'm hungry for bbq I'll visit again, but won't go out of my way to. read more

Nice place to eat snd very friendly staff. The buffet was a little bit on the small side. We got there at 4 o'clock. They start switching over for dinner at 4:30 But You're entitled for the dinner if you get there before they switched over they have Pull pork, mustard base and vinegar base meatloaf, corn, Lima beans, Green beans, Baked beans, collard greens and cabbage They also have pieces of Cake strawberry with icing and and chocolate with icing, banana pudding After 430 they put ribs on the buffet but there's not a lot of meat on them they also put baked chicken on it At 5 o'clock they usually put wings on the buffet that are all different flavors for an example garlic, barbecue and Buffalo wings for an example. We paid the price for 11 in change when we got there by 4 but it does not include a drink. They are only open Thursday through Saturday read more

We really enjoyed our lunch at Farm Boys BBQ! We were driving home from Myrtle Beach and wanted something that wasn't fast food. We stopped a few exits trying to find something that wasn't too far and I felt like we struck gold. I actually missed the fact it was a buffet. But that was great so that we all had something. I was so excited to see all the veggies. That's what I had been craving. The macaroni and cheese was phenomenal! It was my favorite part of the whole meal. It was so flavorful and cheesy. They also had lima beans, corn, and green beans. I think the only thing I missed was corn bread. But I didn't even think about it till just now. The friend chicken was really good and fresh. They kept bringing out fresh items, which I thought was great for a weekday. But my favorite item was the fried porkchop. They even had gravy. It was flavorful, but runny. But it was nice to dip the pork chop in it. Then to wrap it up they had some small desserts. The banana pudding was really good! My aunt had the cherry dump cake. I liked that they were small, because I was already so full. Our waitress was awesome. She kept our drinks full and checked on us often. You pay when you first get there and they give everyone a glove to use a the buffet. I liked they were still using some precaution. They had hand sanztier too. read more

I'm not too impressed with with bbq place! I traveled from Columbia to come here so a good 45 minutes or so. I'm not saying the food was terrible, it wasn't. There wasn't many options for food. I've never been to a bbq buffet that hasn't had mashed potatoes on the menu. That's what shocked me!!!! It was only 30 bucks for 2 adults and a baby so that wasn't bad at all. No kid friendly options, since my little ones favorite is mashed potatoes. I don't think we would return to this place. read more

Straight up hole in the wall, amazing bbq. I got ribs & chicken, lima beans, green beans, omg all so tasty. It was a huge serving. We also got pulled pork that was fantastic. The vinegar bbq sauce was the bomb. Spicy & I loved it. They have a drive thru, it was so worth the wait, specially during the pandemic. My review is coming a little late as my wife and I got Farm Boys a few weeks ago. However, if I could give them 6 stars, I would! This is a cozy little BBQ place that my wife and I drive past often. Many time, we always say, "We should try that place!" Well finally, we did and it was absolutely amazing! I don't remember what my wife got but I got the double portion of BBQ (vinegar), Mac n cheese, green beans, and corn. The food was absolutely amazing and I savored every bite. I started eating slower just to make it last longer bc it was just that good! Prior to farm boys, I had only had one other vinegar based bbq that I liked. I now have another - the vinegar based bbq at Farm Boys is absolutely perfect! The Mac n cheese, green beans, and corn were absolutely delicious! As far as service goes - it was 10/10. They were smiling, friendly, and understanding of the fact that I had never been there before. Great place for some country cooking and then some. I've been meaning to come here for a while now and we finally made it. First off if you're not into dining areas that are bright and open, where you can see what everybody's eating, then you'll have to get over it. The food options here are amazing. You can't go wrong with four types of chicken wings and for dinner they bring out ribs. There is a nice selection of sides from baked mac and cheese to salad to collards and green beans. Of course with my sweet tooth, I was crazy about their desserts. The cherry dump cake, strawberry cake (my favorite), and chocolate cake put a huge smile on my face. We have been here about 4 times and each time I know what I'm there for and I get it. Their buffet is full of southern barbecue cooking and delicious hash!! I'm a yankee but I enjoy me some southern cooking. It's always busy but we are greeted kindly and the wait is never super long like commercial restaurants. It is locally owned and they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They have a mustard barbecue sauce on every table that is so yummy! A few of the items I think are really good are the shrimp, the vegetables, the fish (when they have it), their hash and my husband likes their ribs. I've told you before my husband is an expert on wings and he wasn't impressed because they weren't flavored to the bone but I think when you dip them in the sauce it works out just fine. The customer service from the wait staff hands down gives this place stars. Check this gem out if you're looking for some southern cooking (which is hard to find at times). read more

I know many people seem to love Farm Boys. I don't get it. I hate to write this sincerely I do. But last night , My husband went to get us take out. I got the chicken and dumplings if you want to call it that. Never seen nothing like it. It was more like just chicken broth. This has been several months back, but I attempted to go through the drive-through for a new order. Big mistake! Some customer sat in front of the ordering speaker for about a half-hour, with cars backing up all the way to the street. Some procedure needs to be established to move these long-winded customers out of the way! I left before ever being able to place an order, as did some other customers.In the business' defense, I tried again to go through the drive-through lately and it was fine.
