Dirty floors and dirty dishes everywhere, not sure what the other reviews were raving about, but since 2025, there has been some lowering in the stars for this place. Ive been to Waffle House many time in my life. But none of those experiences were like tonight! (don't flame me) until tonight; I've never tried Waffle House sauce, mostly because nobody has ever offered it to me. My waiter, Matthew, who was working on a two person staff, had amazing manners and offered me the first Waffle House said I ever had. I used all four Matthew, lol. You can't go wrong with this Waffle House. Whether it's a late night craving, an early breakfast or anything between, their food will hit the spot. For a long time this was the only show in town when it came to breakfast. Now there's a couple of choices to compete but the this is still a solid choice. The place stays open through all manner of weather and holidays. You can always count on them for hot food fast and good service. I've seen a lot of the same cooks and waitresses for years. Located right next to the I26 exit and on ramp, this Waffle House is really convenient for passerbys. Let's be honest. Waffle House is only good fresh. Meaning made on the spot, served to table for you to eat before you realize you're making a bad decision. It's 12am, on a Saturday night and this is the 5th time I've come and it's "To-Go Only" which equates to, we don't want to clean dishes and wipe tables off. So sad, considering when I moved to this town the whole staff knew me there as I work late night and would come in, they would know my order and I would tip big. Now, they want you to eat out of plastic and could care less. Literally watched multiple (7+ people) turn around within the 3 mins I was there. Imagine how much business you're losing, tips your servers are losing because you don't want to wash dishes and wipe tables. Super sad. read more

Man, stopped in for a routine waffle house visit. Been having them for 25 years now. This visit was during covid. Sarah was our waitresses name. She was so respectful, warm hearted, sweet, and kind! My husband and I stopped by here about 9pm Thanksgiving night. We had been away from home all day and just needed a rest and something to eat on the way home. We were the only customers. My husband ordered the ham and cheese omelette and loved it. I had the pecan waffle with bacon. Both of us enjoyed our food. The bacon was perfect, crispy and not burned. The pecan waffle was loaded with pecans and cooked perfectly. The food couldn't have been any better. The staff was very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us. I've never had that happen so I was a bit off guard. It was still a great experience. I think we might have just gotten lucky though. During our time there, the shift changed. The new people working didn't seem friendly or motivated. I'm glad we weren't there for their shift. read more

This is the best Waffle House I have ever entered. A friend and I have ate here two mornings in a row while camping at Lake Murray. Both mornings we have received excellent service. Ray Ray, Jill, and Amy are amazing! They take care of all your needs and have so much fun while working. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were fluffy... Depends on the day and who is working. One day you may have excellent service and other days you may be up close and personal to a fight that has started behind the counter. I come in and they tell me that they can only do 'to go' because of The Chapin prom push. There was nobody in there when I got there save for a couple of customers. I ordered my food was prepared to take it with me dinner bunch of hood rats and teenager show up and they start getting their food they take tables and I still never got my food. Finally my waitress comes back over to me and goes didn't you order already? And I looked at her and said yes and I'm getting a bit tired of waiting well you take care of your friends in your hoodRats. Erase all of your Pre judgements of a typical Waffle House... the only thing typical is the building, itself and maybe, the coffee cups. True story... We drove an extra 2 hours to eat at this particular Waffle House. With C19, it's hard to find late night dining. We were driving, late night, from Cape Coral, FL to Greenville, SC due to an unplanned trip because my daughter was sick. After 8 hours, with no food, i decided we really need to grab something, since we weren't exactly sure what we were walking into. Once we hit South Carolina in the middle of the night, our choices were very limited. Waffle Houses kept popping up along I95 and I26 but for the most part, all got low Yelp reviews. Until, this one... it stood out! 4 Stars! What in the world are they doing right, I thought. So, after reading the reviews, I said to my driving partner, we are holding out until we get here. Worth the wait?!? YES!!! Omg... everything was cooked perfectly, the coffee was delicious and by far, the friendliness staff we have had in any restaurant over the last few months. And enough food left over for a quick breakfast, tomorrow. You guys are rocking it! We will be back during our travels. read more

Team here is slow. They have only 2 people on shift at 3:30 which seems fine but they sure do take their time taking your order and making it. Also, their cleanliness practices need to be worked on. But seriously the staff is slower than snails. Food was eh, not as good as most. Also they forgot lettuce on my burger. read more

To start off, this Waffle House could not have a better crew working. They are fun and entertaining, especially for our kid. This is also the only Waffle House I have been to that the cook changed gloves after handling raw meat/eggs. The service was extremely quick and very polite, one waitress even came back early from a break to help with customers.
