I hadn't been to a Hardee's in a while and Chapin doesn't have many options. For this location: The pros: The food is good and not greasy You can taste the patty. Like BK used to be The staff is very nice and professional The restaurant is clean The prices are reasonable The outdoor seating is really nice. It's shaded, has decorative lighting and beautiful vegetation The cons: Service is slow. Not-so-fast food The menu isn't as good as it used to be: no onion rings, no Western Bacon Cheeseburgers any more. I don't usually rate fast food places but I think it's warranted here because they do a good job and the food is really good for fast food. This location does more drive through business than dining room business but it's a good experience dining in. I will be back! read more

You might find this hard to believe. I ordered a quick lunch and was surprised when the cashier said the total was $5.76 for a $2.99 burger and small soda. I asked for a receipt and she told me they were out of paper. I talked to the manager and asked how much the two items should cost and she miraculously pulled out a receipt for $3.68. While I waited I checked my credit card app and saw that I was charged the higher amount so I talked to the manager again asking for the difference and she refused, even after I showed the charge on my phone. The manager said "I don't owe you nothin." I know it's just a coupler of bucks, but I'm letting you know to be aware. The same thing could happen to you. At first I wasn't going to leave a review of Hardee's in Chapin, SC. It's Hardee's, everyone knows they suck. Started thinking about how terrible the restaurant was that I need to say something. The cheeseburger was very salty and cold...not lukewarm but cold. Unfortunately I was in a big hurry so I didn't take it back. The tables were dirty and needed to be wiped off. One employee sat on her butt looking at her phone ( could have been on break ) while others were talking loudly and joking around. There was trash on the floor and the beverage center was nasty. Don't let me even get started on the men's room. I truly wish I could score them a zero. read more

Wonderful quick service, kinda and friendly manager and great lively social workers. The food was excellent I ordered the #9 and # 11 both combos and it was a wonderful experience. Whilst the environment was bright and open creating a great place to enjoy a hot meal. Two workers that I could point out for being a hard worker was "Hannah" and "Dai". Great experience 5/5 will definitely be coming back next time I get the munchies! read more

I have a love, hate relationship with this place. On good days, the breakfast is elite compared to other fast food places in Chapin. On bad days, it's a shit show with a messy dining area and the worker's kids sleeping in booths. You just got to roll the dice and go for that Super Sausage fix. read more

This place has undergone a renovation both in staff and store appearance. The ice cold AC was welcoming during the hot summer day. Food came out correct and quickly. The staff I interacted with were polite and efficient. This is not the same Hardee's of the past. Chapin is desperate for more options to eat, and I'm glad this Hardee's is added to my rotation. read more

Food is what you would expect. The problem at this location is the service. It's just slow. I don't know why but you will spend an average of 20 to 25 minutes in the drive thru for a breakfast order. It's just not convenient if you have somewhere to be. read more

Horrible customer service! I was standing at the counter for 15 minutes with a line of people behind me while the employees looked right at me and went on doing other stuff like wiping down trays and refilling coffee. This is the 3rd time I have pulled into the drive through and pulled out of the parking lot without food. At 6:42pm I pulled in and at 6:55 I pulled out of line. The same car that was at the window was still there when I left. If you call yourself a fast food restaurant this is utterly unacceptable. I had to go around the store and come back to the intercom just to get someone to respond to me. Will not even waste my time with this place. I live 2min from this location and I have to pass it every time I leave or return to my house, so you know it's bad when I won't even be trying to get food from here anymore. When we pulled up to the drive thru, nobody said anything for awhile, and when I said can I order now, the lady on the drive thru intercom said "why not?" in a sarcastic tone which was unprofessional and rude. Then, after waiting for 15 minutes in line, received a milkshake melted and without a cherry. Very disappointed. read more
