Nice little restaurant in the shopping center. If you like wings, you can give this place a try. I had a few wings and tried some different flavors. I was not impressed with the flavors I chose. However their onion rings were awesome! I highly recommend those.

Garlic Parmesan, Mango Habenaro, and Sweet Honey BBQ

The service is super speedy. The inside of the restaurant has about 4 or 5 tables, which are pretty much for to-go orders. The chicken is tender, but some of the flavors are missing pizzazz.

Lemon pepper and hot. It tastes like the grease is old they are burnt.

The food on the advertisement looks appealing, but it's really subpar. It's obvious they don't change the grease that often.

Food was overall bad. The chicken has no flavor at all. They depend on the sauce to have flavor…read more And the sauce they added was very overwhelming. I could taste was something close to mayonnaise. This was 53rd Street chicken or something like that. I also had the boiled or grilled shrimp. I can't remember how they made it but that had no flavor either. I hate using butter or any of the seafood dipping sauce so that wasn't gonna help. It was about $12-13 for a dozen. That's all it comes with. Just shrimp and a side. I could've just went to a seafood boil for probably $5 more with actual flavor. Garlic mashed potatoes were actually good. I hope they wasn't insta mash lmao. The service was alright. I didn't think anyone was rude. Everyone was cool. I will say they told me 10 min wait and I waited about 30 mins for the food. You go to any Chinese place. When they say 10 min. They mean it. Don't lie about the wait time. Or just don't even mention it. Another thing, I hope it was just a customer but when you go thru the front door. You get hit with a smell of piss. I'm not sure why but I don't understand how the employees could not smell that. I know I should've left and wouldn't be leaving this review right now. Too bad Menkoi was closed at the time and Eggroll station was perm closed. I would've thrown my money at them. Will not come again. You need to be drunk to enjoy this food. Wasted $30 for nothing and brought this to my brother which he's going thru chemo right now and he probably would've preferred hospital food. I appreciate y'all. Truly. This was originally two stars but the more I wrote this review the more upset I started to get.

After a long afternoon if river tubing we were HUNGRY and ready for good food and that we found !…read moreI'll start by saying everything I had was delicious but there is a specific reason I could not give 5 stars. The shrimp dip was a perfect appetizer with actually shrimp pieces and a little spice. My wings were some of the best wings I have had in a while and I am a wing snob. There take on fries is a "raw fries" ... I didn't like them calling them raw as it makes you think the fries are uncooked but probably means they are not seasoned. They are homemade potato chips that you can get with seasoning. They were delicious but the name was confusing. Also we were a party of 18 and Elizabeth and the rest of the staff did great with getting our beers, drinks and food to us and checking on us enough to make sure we had what we needed. Give her a bonus! Good size and vibe. Now to discuss why I could not give 5 stars. My friend found a hair in her food - she was bothered but did not want to make a big deal about it but that bothers me. I do think it is a one off situation because everything else was solid. Would I return ? For sure !

Yall. When I tell…read moreyou this is hands down THE BEST fried chicken I've had in probably 7-8 years? I'm from South Mississippi and KNOW me some fried chicken, frfr. This place had me hootin and hollerin this afternoon. The workers made me feel right at home like it was meant to be. I don't know anyone here in Columbia and am just getting to know the area and got recommended. We have a place in my hometown called Hartz Chicken and this rivals it (never thought I'd say it). The entire vibe was giving blue collar worker, families, hard working professionals, my white tail, and all in between. If you haven't gone in here, you're wrong for that. I WILL be back, trust and believe that. Thank you to everyone at Bernie's for being so kind to me and welcoming me not only to South Carolina but to this gem of an eatery.

I'm not sure what sparked the craving, but as I passed through Columbia at lunchtime, fried chicken…read moresuddenly seemed like the only answer. I asked Yelp for the highest‑rated spot and ended up here. The place was bustling, with most of the parking lot full, yet the ordering process moved quickly. By the time I returned from the restroom, my number was already being called. I had ordered a three‑piece meal with double cole slaw in place of fries and a sweet tea. Settling in at a table, I dug in. The cole slaw leaned too far on the sweet side for my taste, though the texture was crisp and fresh. I skipped the dinner roll and the tea, focusing instead on the chicken. It was thoroughly cooked, meaty, and satisfying. Not especially spicy or bold in flavor, but solidly good. This isn't a fancy establishment. The tables and floor may not be spotless, but the food delivers. Best fried chicken I've ever had? No. Still, it was very good, and worth the stop. Got plenty of TV's to watch the games on and got a few arcade machines if that's your thing. The food is always solid. Whether it's the Lemon Pepper Wings (not pictured) or their Beef Philly all the way , it's always made fresh and seasoned perfectly. If you're looking for aesthetics, this isn't your place, however if you're looking for a "Cheers" type vibe where folks know your name and you can get some great food, this is your spot.

I was still like "we'll see about that". Parking wasn't too bad. Being that it's on the perimeter of Columbia Mall or what was Columbia Mall, there's parking surrounding the business. It wasn't too packed which was great. We walked in and sat ourselves at a table. The waitress came over and greeted us within a few minutes. I believe they have happy hour in the price of $3 for their house liquors. The drinks are made well. The menu had a bit of a variety and it was hard for me to choose what I wanted because everything seemed like it would be tasty. After placing an order, the salads came out within 10-15 minutes, then the appetizer and right after the entrées. The food was hot. I ordered the egg rolls and the sweet and spicy wings. I wish the appetizer, which were the egg rolls, would have came out sooner as they were warm than hot, but they were good and came with a specialty sauce. It had a light kick but was tasty. The wings were good and hot. The sweet and spicy sauce had a good taste. I wish they were crispier as I requested. The fries were so good! Hot and seasoned well. The salads looked great as well but I did not have those. Their chicken club sandwich looked good as well and my sister said it was delicious!
