As a consumer, and a sales professional myself, I have come to expect a certain level of service from my vendors and suppliers - believing that holding them accountable makes us all better. Considering the standards I hold, it's rare that I am inspired by someone's commitment to their craft and customer as Contra Costa Locksmith. Whenever you're contacting a locksmith in the middle of the night, it's going to be your own personal emergency. Of all the locksmiths I contacted, only CCL replied to my messages. My situation was more challenging that a typical lockout, and something he was not tooled for. I would not have held it against him if he would have simply passed, as it's reasonable to say "sorry I can't reprogram your German automobile's CAS, cut you specialized transponder key and guarantee it all works...in the middle of the night. But Shai didn't disengaged. He spent the next hour hunting for German car expert, convinced him to abandon his family while they were packing to move and confirmed a price that was half dealership would charge (but takes a week to deliver). As if that wasn't excellent service to begin with, Shai made more effort than I did to make sure I had everything I needed and in contact with the German expert. That's not good customer service. That's good human kindness and strong character. He's unbelievably quick to reply to messages and thoroughly informative without being critical or embarrassing. Frankly, if I'm going to trust the keys to my car, home, office or anything of value, I realize more than before, I will only trust someone of high professional conduct and good moral character. I realize this is a lot of gushing for something as simple as perceivably mundane as a locksmith, but remember, calls like mine are those personal emergencies that exacerbate the smallest of challenges. CCL went far beyond in demonstrating that my emergency was their emergency and that kind of service won't be found on a menu. Thank you CCL. I hired Shai again to help with a front door at a rental. Now that I have a 1 year old, it's harder to get out to investigate problems, so it's important to have people you trust, like Shai. The thumbress on the door broke, and Shai was a complete professional and recommended that I reach out to the door manufacturer and inquire about getting a replacement part. He rewponded to each and every question of mine very deligently and that gave me confidenxe to take am appointment with him even though I was not sure if a smarr lock would work for me. He called in the afternoon of the day to confirm the appointment. He was on time, gave me no surprises.
