I've been going to Tony for many years with various computer problems. He's always very professional and is very good about following up. Fair pricing and he never makes me feel dumb, even though my computer/IT IQ is very very low. I'd trust him with any of my computer issues! read more

Wonderful experience! Fixed our computer - replaced the hard drive and recovered all the data! Tony was great to work with - friendly, fast and thorough! Highly recommended! Thank you!! read more

I recently took my laptop to Tony at Connectionz Computer Repair after reading some great reviews online. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Tony gave me an affordable rate and a quick turnaround time. My computer was so damaged by viruses that essentially all I could do was turn it on and off. Tony had my computer virus free and protected within two days. Not only that but he was able to back up all my data as well to assure that I didn't lose anything. My computer is now running better than ever! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for great service and affordable prices. I will definitely be back should I ever need his services again. read more

When my computer started giving me warnings that the hard drive was about to fail, I started getting very overwhelmed at the prospect of dealing with a computer crash right after coming home from the hospital with a newborn. Being outside the warranty period, HP wanted me to spend $60+ just to diagnose the problem, then who knows how much to purchase and replace the part. I then decided to go to my trusty Yelp and saw Tony's company at the top with a ton of five star reviews. He called me back right away and answered my questions on what kind of hard drive replacement to purchase (since I wanted to purchase it myself from Amazon). It was apparent that by all counts he was very knowledgeable, and I felt confident after speaking with him that my computer would be in good hands. I called him as soon as I received my hard drive in the mail and Tony said I could bring it in immediately. He was done the same day I took the computer to him! He even threw in a free dusting. I should point out that one of the main advantages of going with Tony was that he was able to copy over ALL my data and files and programs over for me! Talk about a time saver... Overall, it was a pleasure working with him and I know that if I ever have any other unfortunate computer issues, Tony's my guy. (Did I mention he takes credit cards? That deserves a sixth star if possible!) read more

Toni is not only nice person, but also very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to recover 80-90% of my non recoverable data from damaged hard drive and I am very grateful for that, since all of my pictures were in there. I have tried other computer repair shops but no success. Price was more than reasonable, he even didn't want to charge me anything since he was unable to recover 100% of my data. I highly recommend his service. read more

Extremely helpful! I recently moved and my desktop computer was damaged in the process- I rely on my desktop for work so I needed it fixed fast. Connectionz repaired my computer quickly, but also fixed many of the bugs I had and installed better hard drives than I had before! read more

Tony has worked on my computer 3 times now. The first two times he fixed the hinge on my laptop, first one, then the other. This time it was a software related problem. I had changed the password by adding a symbol (as I have heard this is important) - and so the password went from 12 to 13 characters in total. Well, I could not get in, no matter what I did. I am 99.99% sure that I was putting in the right password, but it would not work. So I called Tony. He happened to be nearby, so he picked up my laptop, which was very nice, and brought it to his house. He called me shortly thereafter and said it was fixed. We talked a little bit about passwords and security in general. Tony told me that the best thing to do would be to encrypt my files - he also said that with XP this would be easy to do and he would show me how. I went to his place and proceeded to reset my password to be sure it would work. I wanted to use the 13 character password - which Tony said should not be a problem - but I was concerned that it might not work. But, if it didn't work, Tony said he would charge me ANOTHER $60 to reset the password again! So he was not willing to stand by his reassurance that it should work. He said he "had" to charge me - I questioned this, remarking that he had no boss looking over his shoulder. He told me his mortgage was his boss!! I thought this was pretty crummy. He told me (which was honest of him) that it took him 20 minutes to reset my password, therefore he is already charging me $180/hour!! And he would not stand by his own recommendation regarding the typically accepted length of a password. We argued, but he did not see my point and would not budge. So, I used my 12 character password and it worked fine. Tony then was going to turn on the encryption for me, as he said he would, but it turns out that he did not know how to do it. This was pretty shocking to me. I am sure he is a bright guy, and in the past he has been very pleasant and helpful, but today he was not up to snuff. If this had been my first "connection" with him, I would be giving him one star. Eventually after going back and forth, Tony finally agrees to reset the password without extra charge if the 13 character password doesn't work - but, if it doesn't work, I would have to leave the laptop at his house because now he doesn't have the 20 minutes needed to reset the password! I said forget it. If he had agreed to stand by his own recommendation, to begin with, then we would have had enough time to reset the password if it had been necessary i.e. had he been wrong. I would have been grateful to him and he would have learned something important about password lengths - and I wouldn't be doubting, unfortunately, whether or not I want to use him as my computer go-to guy anymore. read more

I had a really great experience with Tony. Brought my laptop in for a virus on a Saturday and he had it back in working order within a couple of hours. I highly recommend! Thanks! read more

I called Tony based on the yelp reviews and was not disappointed. We have two laptop computers and one we thought should be thrown out...way too slow and there was always different error messages that I could never figure out.... the other laptop was in perfect condition but got a horrible virus that crashed the computer to the point where it wouldn't even turn on. We brought them both to Tony who worked his magic and had them both up and running within 48 hours. total cost = under $100. read more

I called to ask if they could repair my HP notebook; instead of suggesting that I bring the computer to the shop, Tony told me that I could fix the problem myself by buying an inexpensive part online. It's not every day that a retailer sacrifices their own profits like this for the benefit of the consumer. Highly recommended! read more

What can I say, another 5 star review. :) I called Tony after reading posts here. He ended up giving me the solution over the phone, and when I still didn't get it, I took my laptop to his place, he took a look and gave me further instructions and sent me on my way without charging me for the time or advice. Thanks Tony! read more

I broke my computer CD drive and contacted Tony for an in-office repair. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would and replaced the drive within 10 minutes. His costs are fair and well worth not having to drag the tower to another location. I highly recommend him. read more

Tony is simply the most professional & honest businessperson I have ever done business with. I've used him several times now. He has told me that it isn't worth fixing one of my computer and that I should just buy a new one. (Yes, that recommendation cost him $200-$400 in lost revenue. But he is honest). I once freaked out that my computer was crashing, he made a house call. I have recommended him to friends and clients. Everyone has been impressed! read more

Tony is awesome, he did some troubleshooting and diagnostics on my broken desktop for me for free, will definitely keep him in mind for all my future computer issues read more

This is a really honest business. I had a damaged external hard drive. I brought it to Tony. The next day he contacted me and told me that the disk had physical damage that needed to be opened in the clean room. He was not able to do it. He referred me to a different lab. He didn't charge me a penny. He even gave me a shipping box. Now a days, getting your computer repaired is like sending your car to the garage. You never know how much they are going to charge and whether they can fix it. I definitely trust Tony. If I ever have any other hard drive problems, I will definitely send to Tony first. read more

Tony was a huge help when my laptop died on me (motherboard was done). He did a diagnostic and let me know my options without pressuring me toward either direction. In the end I got a new laptop because the old one simply wasn't worth paying for a new board. Tony was great though and ended up not even charging me. Very trustworthy and I would use him again. read more

Tony was great! I had a problem with my laptop and needed it repaired within a week because I was going to be traveling. I took it to Geek Squad in Best Buy and they told me it would take at least three weeks. Tony cleaned my laptop and had it finished within one day. I couldn't be more pleased! read more

When I moved to the south land I knew I would need to establish a relationship with computer service business. I'm glad I found Tony of Connectionz. I had a mechanical problem in the summer and it was repaired in one hour. Just last week my computer was kicking up a message that my HD was bad. Well Tony did his magic and its fixed. Thank you Tony for your service and honesty. It is a pleasure to deal with you! read more

I recently hired a third party company to fix my laptop. After overpaying for their services, my computer was not only in worst shape but it was also hacked. I called Tony and in one day he had it cleaned out and working like a champ. I highly recommend him. I will definitely use his services again...THANKS TONY!! read more

I have used Tony in the past. He was very professional and his price was reasonable. Very big Contrast with Office Depot which kept my computer for over a month and THEN informed me that they couldn't solve the problem. I read the poor review from Evan. It sounds like Tony was nice enough to give Evan free advice but then Evan wanted free work to go along with the advice. Tony has bills to pay like the rest of us and no one should be expected to offer free work to anyone. read more

Tony has been amazing. His company is now our company's go-to guy for all of our networking issues. He saved our company from a computer server melt down and potentially losing all of our data. He was very quick in resolving the issue and made sure we were up and running as soon as he could. He also recommended additional things we could do to protect our data in the future. read more

After calling Tony on Saturday afternoon, he promptly returned my call and I was able to take my hard drive to him on Sunday. He determined that my hard drive was a lost cause - and didn't charge me anything! He is honest and very professional. I recommend him absolutely. read more

Tony all but restored my faith in the humanity! If I could give him better than 5 stars, I would -- he certainly deserves it. I had a broken power jack and, on the downside of bad to worse, I despaired of ever getting my Dell Inspiron working again. I could scarcely believe all the glowing reviews here but I'm glad I did -- Tony diagnosed the problem and replaced the jack in a single day and for exactly the very, very reasonable price he quoted me. Tony is patient, professional and aboveboard -- if you're like me, this is not what we've come to expect when we need advice and repair help. Obviously, I cannot recommend him highly enough -- a REAL FIND! read more

Tony is awesome! He saved the day by removing a nasty java virus that shut my laptop down, and he did it in 24 hours. He also didn't treat me like an idiot for not being computer literate enough to do it myself. He offers reasonable rates and trustworthy service. I recommend him, and have already referred him to two of my friends. read more

Tried to get help with my computer that was running slow from a software manufacturer who mis-diagnosed the situation as a firewall issue. Eventually, my computer crashed. Brought my computer to Tony and immediately he diagnosed it as a hard drive issue. In less than 24 hours Tony installed a new hard drive at a reasonable price and now my computer runs faster and smoother than it did before. read more

Dispite having virus protection software on my computer...I still got a bug. I called Tony and he had it fixed in no time! It works better than when I had it cleaned at Best Buy 6 months ago. I will recommend connectionz to everyone who needs computer work. He is reasonably priced, professional and great turn around time! read more

Tony got me from panic and despair over a crashed dell inspiron laptop and back to productivity, all data intact and the machine running better than ever, in less than two days, and for a very fair price. read more

I got a new Dell pc to replace my 7 yr. old Dell with the hard drive ready to crash. Tony came to my home. He set everything up for me, transferred all of my files and cleaned up the extraneous software that Dell always so generously supplies. He told me that he did not think the security software supplied by Dell was a particularly good security system and set me up instead with another that he uses and that he says is much more secure. He also generously answered all of our questions about back up and security and even opened up the old pc for my husband and explained what all the parts were. We were totally happy with his service and I am so glad to now have a computer "guru" I can trust. read more

I thought I had a major problem with the wireless on my laptop but Tony spotted the problem in less than a minute and I was on my way with no repairs necessary. I thought he was a genius, LOL. Will recommend him to my friends. read more

My PC finally broke down after 6 years of trusty service. I took it to Tony on a Saturday. He ran a full set of diagnostics and had an estimate for me by Tuesday. Unfortunately, my motherboard was toast and the machine needed a complete overhaul. Though it would mean losing a potential customer, Tony told me it would be cheaper for me to just buy a new PC than for him to fix it. He didn't even charge me for the diagnostic test. Though I never actually got to give him my business, I am definitely going back to him for any of my future maintenance needs. He's friendly, fair, and, most importantly, honest. I highly recommend him. read more

Tony ran diagnostic tests for no charge (when another store charged me $45 for the same testing the previous week). Even though he thought there could have been multiple problems with the hardware, he advised me to do a few things on my own before bringing it back in order to save me money. Haven't had any problems since. He was honest and upfront which is something that I very much appreciated! read more

My computer crashed HARD in the middle of a major project. Not just blue screen of death, but things I've never seen before. Couldn't get it to boot, then hours later dozens of programs open at once, no way to control anything. I'd used Tony once before and he said to bring it right over. Two days later everything works better than ever, and the price was right on the money. I would never use anyone else. read more

I took my Dell into Staples to get a quote for a cracked screen and was told it would be $300.00 and up. We left...called Tony and he said to bring it over. He was extremely friendly and professional upon our arrival. His quote was fantastic and the turnaround time was quick. I also had an older HP model that needed a new fan, he only charged me his hourly rate and told me he had the part from another computer. Tony was great and I will continue to take my products to him in the future!!! Thank you so much Tony!! It was great doing business with you! read more

All the good stuff is already written about Tony, So I'll just say, "Great doing business with you".

I was recently referred to Tony by IT staff where I work. I read his consistently positive reviews here on Yelp and quickly decided to give him a try. Tony works in the field and also in his home office. When I called, he called me back promptly, even though he was clearly sick with a nasty cold. After describing my problem to him, he invited me to drop off the computer, which I did. He tested it that same day and gave me a solid estimate for the repair costs (relating to the discovery of my bad hard drive). He then gave me regular updates (i.e., when he discovered that his hard drive supplier was backed up and would take an extra day to deliver), and he kept his promised delivery date. The cost was less than he had estimated, the computer was in great working order, and he also answered questions I had about some related issues (i.e., not connected with the repair), which was kind. Based on my initial experience, I will definitely return, and I highly recommend him. read more
