We were put in touch with this company thru Custom Plumbing (that's another story). Not choosing to work with a different company is one of the worst decisions we've ever made. CR has been an absolute nightmare. The communication and customer service have been worse than abysmal. The work? Who knows. It's been months and all they've done is tear stuff down and ruin our parquet floors. I'm a disabled veteran and the work done has caused our floors to be uneven. I have two replaced knees, and the floor issue has caused me to fall We have told this to CR, but it only seemed to slow the process. They are not a veteran friendly business. Connected Restoration and Vitos Plumbing are very dishonest, to put it nicely . They took almost half of a year to finish their work. As you can imagine, when the water was turned on, my bedroom would flood. CR destroyed walls that didn't need to be destroyed. Connected Restoration had every intention to take what they could from my homeowners insurance and us. Their prices are outrages. Unfortunately I found out to late. Connected Restoration and Vito's Plumbing tried hinting and encouraging me to lie about where the leak was, when I didn't know where it was myself! Luckily another plumber found it in the wall and not the foundation. These businesses are not to be trusted!!! But I am greatful however with the two hispanics that redid the walls and the individual who did the flooring. You can't tell they were redone. read more

The purpose of this review is to bring to light the excessive charges from Connected Restoration. No homeowner should be faced with this. Connected Restoration was contracted to perform water remediation caused by a leaky pipe. I was told the process would take 3 to 5 days of drying out. 18 days later ... their equipment still running ... they finally came by and picked up their equipment ... that they had lost track of and didn't realize it was still here ... RUNNING! It took them over a week to produce their invoice and final documentation. They invoiced for $8,037.50! Our insurance company sent the invoice to a 3rd party auditing company which disclosed just shy of $4,500.00 of excessive charges (over National Industry Standard) and for charges they either did not perform, or did not need to perform. In the end, I negotiated the invoice down to about $4,000.00 (which my insurance company paid). If you are encountering this with Connected Restoration, you have the right to fight back and not accept these highly over-inflated charges. read more

Dishwasher supply line decided to burst and flood our kitchen out early in the morning. Connected Restoration was fast, informative and took great care of our home. Jesse, Tristian, Cameron and the two demo techs were all amazing and put me and especially my wife at ease after having her entire kitchen removed. The demo was super clean and even our insurance adjuster was impressed with their work and complimented it multiple times. Our insurance adjuster was out two days after the demo and funds for the rebuild were in our account literally 3 hours later. They have been in constant contact with us and have gone above and beyond. Would recommend them to anyone who is dealing with water damage in their home! 5 star all the way! I have to learn to look at the company on Yelp first. I saw a few of the other reviews and realized.... wow this seems familiar. This seems to be a very young group of men that have figured out how to work the insurance industry. They were referred to us through our American Home Shield plumber when he came out for a sewer stoppage. I was told Chris, the owner, would be available for any questions that I had. Chris never responded to one text or phone call that I made to him. He did answer once, and I told him it had been two weeks since anyone had been out to our house, and someone did show up a couple of days later. I want to say that Jace, who is in charge of the installation and rebuild process is a very nice young man, and I appreciate his responsiveness when I would call. And, he really seems to mean well. I will also repeat what a couple of other reviews have said, they bring these machines and run them and put the drain hose down the sink. (There was no drain even attached to the sink at that point) The water ran all over my floor. I took it out and turned it off. They apologized and then before they left they actually put it back in the drain. They did a fine job tearing everything out of the kitchen, except they put our dishwasher out in the driveway and we had to put it under our patio when they left. When it came time to install cabinets the guy that Jace was going to use came in our kitchen, looked at it and said, ,"I can't do this" and left. At that point, we decided we better find our own people to do the work. We settled up with them and ended up giving them 20% of our insurance money because.... Beware.... the first thing they do is Anthony comes in and gets you to sign a form that says if you don't use them for ANY reason they get a percentage of the total insurance you receive. They told us 20% when we asked for our money the insurance company had given them to do the job, so we had no choice at that point to pay them, cut our losses and move on. read more

I was extremely impressed with their knowledge, professional and attention to detail. They cleaned up the area they had to gut from water damage very nicely hooked up a nice temporary sink vacuumed the works. It is rare to find this kind of service these days especially with younger gentleman!! We will be telling everyone we know about them and plan to use them for our entire home remodel as well. Scammers. Seriously the worst restoration company to date. They were sent to me by my a plumber from my home warranty company immediately after I had a toilet overflow due to a clog. Three 20 something guys show up and start the hard pressure sales of me needing to have my dry wall, tiles, cabinet, etc done or bacterial spores and even death for me and my newborn would occur. They immediately tried to pressure me into having them start right away and blah blah. Don't use these guys, they are shady scammers and I'm glad I had them leave when I did. read more

one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. Everything had to be done over two and three times. It started out well but then everything went down hill. They tore everything out so efficiently but then this job that started in mid feb took till mid june. this was one tiny laundry room. I was extremely disappointed in the their work, their efficiency and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Just ask to speak to someone in authority....haha , they can't be bothered to hear from a customer. The only time they were efficient was when they wanted to pick up a check! Be careful here. My insurance adjuster had several clients that used them and were disappointed! Don't think my plumber will refer them anymore. read more

I've never had a flood in my home before so didn't know what to expect. I had connected restoration come to my home and tear out the wet drywall. All went well until it came time to get the leak fixed and the walls repaired. They have a lack of communication with one another and with the customer. They set an appt then fail to follow through with the comment. I'm one month in and two of my bathrooms are unusable still and connected restoration just can't seem to make it back to my home to complete the job. I've since fired connected restoration and the new company I've hired said the leak and bathrooms will be working in the next week and half. read more
