I went with a different company only because they offered a specific sort of small-scale ongoing maintenance service Beyond Stone doesn't provide. But after gathering quotes their prices are VERY competitive - they came in below several others, offering the same thing. The consultation was valuable as it provided a ton of insight and the employee who helped me was wonderful. It's a local family-owned business with a great reputation and I see why! (I was getting grout sealed in my new-build home and I want someone who can come do touch ups on home grout sealing. They have a minimum for each project, which is very fair, and it didn't suit my particular needs.) read more

Cory came out to look at my newly laid tile. There was a haze from the grout over the tile that was very unappealing. I was very hesitant to spend $2600 to have Beyond Stone acid wash the tile. This company has the highest integrity. I hired them to repair damage on a damaged marble countertop and their quote was lower than a competitor. They also did a better repair that the competitor had previously. Ryan came out to assess 4000sf of stone flooring for restoration. He told me that he could not, in good conscience, recommend a restoration because the floors were still in great shape. And, he offered to repair some grout for free when they were here for another marble project. The competitor quoted for the floors $21,600 and was eager to do the job. I was so excited to have my floors Refurbished. They came out gave me a quote (that took a few days to get) but I got the quote. It seemed high however the reviews said everything was great so I went with it. That is where It first went wrong! Two men came out did the work. The work consisted of sanding all three floors of my house. When they did so they burned the paint off of the baseboards they smashed into walls and then told me 'well that can happen'. They did repair's to chipped tiles. It was horribly matched, it was blotchy, bumpy, extremely rough!! quite frankly it was horrible. I took pictures called the company...sent them pictures they told me somebody would come out next week to repair them. That person was only given an hour to fix three different levels of flooring. The gentleman left saying I'm sorry but I didn't have enough time. He came back and spent nearly a whole day repairing things (except for the baseboards). I called a number of times to ask them when would they come back to finish the job and baseboards. It took over a month to have them out. I still have yet to be called back by the person in charge. Bottom line my floors look no different than they did before. Save your $3300. Or find a better company. So I can update this review with a happier ending. They came back out for the fourth time yes however this time they made things right! My floors look amazing! They bent over backwards to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction! read more

I didn't realize how dingy and dull my slate was until a friend recommended I consider getting it cleaned and resealed. I was concerned there wouldn't be a significant difference, but I was pleasantly surprised once the job was done! The dirt embedded in the slate is gone, the cracked grout was repaired and the grout lines were restored to their original color. I ended up going with 2 coats of the 300 sealer and it's a night & day difference. I'm very happy with the services provided. Beyond Stone Solutions has been our go to natural stone maintenance service since 1994. In June, 2015 BSS performed a periodic stripping, cleaning, and sealing of our flagstone and slate floors. Dan Brewer, the owner, personally inspected the job and offered some very good suggestions prior to beginning. His price was fair and his crew was exceptional. Two professionals (I use that term carefully out of respect for their knowledge and effort) Cory and Ryan spent 24 man hours on the job. Not once did they lose sight of their customer service responsibilities. They kept up a running dialogue, informing me of problems and asking for feedback as the day went along. We hired this company after we relocated to Scottsdale. and purchased an older home that had flagstone floors. While the floors were basically in good condition there were some cracks and discoloration that needed attention. The 1st time we had the company out we were displeased with the outcome because nothing really changed. We had basically just received a cleaner floor.
