What an industry! I was up north with my family for the weekend and came home to standing water…read morethroughout the first floor of my house. My first call was to a plumber for help. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

Your efforts saved us more than 50% compared to other companies' estimates for the exact same scope of work something we're still amazed by. The third-party consulting firm was equally impressed with the quality and professionalism demonstrated by your crew. Please extend our thanks and appreciation to your technicians for the marvelous job they performed. We truly value your commitment to excellence and integrity, and we look forward to working with you again in the future. Overall the best prices I could find for full house restoration service.

RE: Arizona Restoration Specialists…read more We highly recommend this company. They were punctual, informative, efficient, and personable. We had a leak in the wall behind the washer and dryer. Apparently, it had been leaking for quite a while. (We found out that it was the washer drain pipe, so it only leaked when doing laundry.) We contacted Dallin at Arizona Restoration Specialist on Tuesday 1/13. Wednesday 1/14, Dallin came and inspected the damage and advised us of the process. He emailed us an estimate that afternoon. Thursday 1/15 we contacted Dallin and made arrangements for them to start work on Monday 1/19. The weekend gave us time to empty the freezer and move other items. Monday 1/19, Dallin and his crew arrived. They moved the washer, dryer, and freezer to the garage. They isolated the damaged area and removed all of the damage and mold. His crew discovered the broken washer drain pipe when removing the water damaged wall materials. They set up a dehumidifier and a blower to dry the area and clean the air. Wednesday 1/21, they checked on the progress, did more scrubbing on the wall studs, and made arrangements for an inspection. Thursday 1/22, Dallin inspected the work. The air quality inspection was completed by another company. Dallin made arrangements with a plumber to fix the broken pipe. The plumber arrived to inspect the pipe damage. They will return after the clearance from the air quality inspection. Friday 1/23, room air quality inspection passed. Dallin sent his crew to remove their equipment. The area was ready to be repaired. The plumber came over and replaced the broken pipe. Drywall work is next. All of this was accomplished in 10 days. Amazing!! The estimate was reasonable, the work done efficiently, and they left the area clean when they were done. These guys are amazing!! Louis & Sandra Parker

BEWARE: SCAM TACTICS AND UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT…read more One of the most powerful things you can do is leave a truthful review -- especially when the safety of others is at risk. This company either shows up without being called, or you may be "referred" through a shady contractor or deceptive claim process. In our case, we never contacted them -- Parker & Sons contacted them. Once inside, they used what appeared to be a pin-type moisture meter, which is designed to measure moisture by pressing the metal pins directly into or firmly against a surface like drywall or wood. Instead, this individual waved the device around in the air and slid it across the floor -- a method that produces inaccurate and scientifically invalid readings. This behavior was misleading and unprofessional and deceptive. There were no visible company uniforms, no name tags, no proper business cards, and no verifiable credentials shown. They were unable to provide a working business phone line with voicemail or office contact. This is a red flag under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act (A.R.S. § 44-1522) which prohibits misleading business practices, especially those that can financially harm consumers. We later confirmed: The phone number they called from had no professional voicemail The main business number listed online also has no voicemail set-up No one presented professional ID upon entering our home Under Arizona Revised Statutes § 13-1502, entering someone's home without proper identification under false pretenses can be construed as criminal trespass or fraudulent access -- especially if done for profit or manipulation. Simply viewing their ID is not enough -- most people cannot memorize names, badge numbers, or license info in a few seconds. You have the right to document this information, including taking a photo of their ID or business card, for your own safety and records -- especially when someone is entering your private home, photographing rooms, or assessing potential insurance work. You have the right to request all licensing and bonding information in writing. You have the right to verify phone numbers, company registration with the Arizona Corporation Commission, and to record interactions in your own home if you feel unsafe.
