Concorde was such a great find! It's cozy and perfect for groups or dates. We were a party of 9 and had a fire table on the patio to ourselves. You can order with their QR codes or ask for a server for the table and they had everything ranging from espresso shots to martinis to Italian sodas. This bar will forever be highly recommended by me!
Such a cool place to check out when visiting Wilmington! Concord Espresso Bar offers a variety of different espresso martini flavorings, cocktails, and pop-sodas. Definitely recommend if you're planning for a double-date night or a night out with the girls. Only complaint we had was they sat us right next to the bathrooms and front door of the building, when there was a ton of more private and comfortable seating within the building - and in their courtyard. Every drink we had was very strong in coffee flavor and alcohol- if you're looking for something sweeter I would recommend looking at their other cocktail drinks.
Such a unique place! We had a fire pit reserved to pop in for s'mores and a nightcap. All of the staff, from the hostess, servers and bartenders, were really nice. The drinks were good and the s'mores were fun to make. It was a really cute courtyard, and we would go back again if we were in the area. Great spot for a girls night too.
The Concord espresso bar is exquisite, eclectic and just plain fabulous! they have Hollanders Dutch chocolate here and I love that gourmet chocolate. Of course I asked for .5 ounces as they usually put 1.5 ounces of the Hollanders Dutch chocolate syrup in each coffee. That was much too much for me as I like to indulge in the espresso flavor more so than the chocolate. The flavor of the espresso is bold balanced, and absolutely positively delicious! It creates the perfect combination with the Taste Of The yummy Hollanders chocolate. I also ordered what the cashier said was her favorite pastry: a berry cream cheese scone. It was just moist enough, just crispy enough and just soft enough and full of delicious berries! I must say that I could not tell that it had cream cheese in it however, maybe that is what made it so moist as I expected, and was pleased by the fact that there was lively coffee shop appropriate music playing in the background. The cashier was very sweet and kind. She told me what each pastry was and like I said I decided on the one that is her favorite. The vibe was laid-back and chill. The seating area was off to the side and more intimate and private than the main area which was bright and open for those who like that kind of vibe. there were a few comfy looking chairs in this area as well. The prices were good. The service was great, and the coffee and pastry were outstanding!
Good service, we ordered smores, a coffee and espresso martini. Everything is done on an app. Warning: Smores were really messy but really delicious. Will be back to indulge again!
We went to the Downtown location and it was great. The drink selection was fantastic, with plenty of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. For alcoholic beverages, we tried the In Flight Snack (cookie butter espresso martinis), and the Exit Row (salted caramel espresso martini). For nonalcoholic, I think my friend ordered a lavender lemonade, but whatever mocktail she or it was delicious! We also got the Make your own S'more's kit and being able to roast marshmallows over the fire was so fun and delicious! The outdoor space was one of my favorite parts. Once the sun went down, it was moody and kind of romantic. I feel like this would be the perfect date night, girls night or group hang spot! We visited in the beginning of May, and the weather was perfect. There were tons of tables with cozy fire pits, making it such a chill spot to relax and hang out. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

The evening bar runs from the backyard of the Front Street Inn, with loads of martini options, and it's largely an outdoor experience. On Saturday nights be prepared for a likely line.

Got one of their special drinks, the pistachio tiramisuiced latte($7). It came out in a few minutes. The drink was sweet with notes of coco and vanilla. The outside patio was very gorgeous to hang out and could accommodate a bunch of people. A very solid coffee shop with good drinks and good vibes. Drink(50%): 7.8 Staff/service(25%): 7.0 Value(25%): 7.0 Overall: 7.4/10
I wanted to like this place more than I did as they have an outstanding menu. We stumbled upon this place when looking for a cup of coffee. As it was a Saturday after 3pm, they said they could not seat us but we could order to go. So, we did. My friend finished her order first, then I finished mine, then a gentleman in another party finished his. My friend's coffee came out almost immediately. A short time later, so did the gentleman's coffee. I kept waiting. I was eventually asked after about 10 minutes if we were waiting on more coffee. They found my cup of coffee just sitting inside. I'd ordered the butterscotch rosemary coffee with whipped cream and toppings. By the time I got it, the whipped cream was melted, any toppings had sunk, and I couldn't taste much butterscotch or rosemary. I was sorely disappointed that I paid what I did for an anticlimactic cup of coffee.

The Concorde Espresso Bar is located inside the Front Street Inn at 215 S. Front Street in Wilmington, NC. It it the cutest espresso bar that features a travel-inspired atmosphere, reflecting the international flair of the boutique hotel. The space incorporates aviation-themed decor. The espresso bar offers a creative menu with sizes named after airplane classes: Main (12 oz), Business (16 oz), and First (20 oz). Since it was too early for Espresso Martinis I opted for a Caramel Macchiato & a Flaky Croissant. I can't wait until I can visit one evening and try out the Martini Flight and s'mores in the beautifully lit espresso garden. While I was there they were decorating for the holidays so it's about to get real LIT. If visiting at night for martinis it is suggested to make a reservation in order to secure a spot.
Went here after seeing a ton of reels surrounding their Espresso flight. Oh my goodness, I can't rave on this business enough. Everyone was very polite and welcoming, both the inside and outside were decorated so cute and inviting. We are already planning to come back so we can reserve a table with a fire pit and take advantage of their s'mores offering. Would be a great place to have a friend's meetup or have a date night like us.

We stopped by Concorde while celebrating our wedding, and the experience was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The hostess was very accommodating, personally walked us to our seats, and the staff remembered that we were celebrating. They surprised us with two complimentary glasses of Prosecco, which were crisp, clean, and delicious. That thoughtful gesture alone meant so much to us. Afterward, I ordered an Old Fashioned, and my husband ordered the guava margarita. We couldn't stop laughing when the drinks arrived because everyone naturally assumed the margarita was mine and the Old Fashioned was his--but we like to switch things up! Both drinks were delicious. I'm particular about Old Fashioneds and whiskey sours. When one is made properly, there is a certain aroma that lets me know before I even taste it--and this Old Fashioned absolutely passed my personal test. It was perfectly made and strong enough that, after the Prosecco, I knew one was all I needed if we were going to walk into dinner with some sense! The aviation-inspired atmosphere made the experience even better. My husband is a pilot, so he especially enjoyed the Concorde theme, the aircraft-window views, and the simulation that made it feel as though the plane was moving and landing. The ambiance, drinks, and hospitality were all excellent. Thank you to the staff for remembering our celebration and making us feel special. The next time we're in Wilmington--or anywhere nearby--we will definitely stop in again! read more

I really wanted to love Concorde Express Bar because I had heard so much hype about it, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The scenery and atmosphere are definitely cute and make for some great pictures, but the overall experience was a little disappointing. We visited during the summer and got the s'mores kit, which sounded like it would be so much fun, but unfortunately, the little fire they brought out didn't work, so we couldn't even enjoy it. Their most famous drink was also not good at all. The only drink I really enjoyed was the watermelon drink, which came with a popsicle in it--that was actually pretty cool! The prices were extremely high for what we got, although that seems to be pretty common at a lot of places in Wilmington. I'd be willing to give it another chance during the winter because I could see the atmosphere being much better then. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, though, and definitely deserves some credit! Overall, I just left feeling pretty disappointed because I expected more based on all the hype. read more

One of my favorites if not my favorite espresso bar in downtown Wilmington. It is located in the perfect area of downtown WILMINGTON because there is generally better parking because it's not at the heart of the river. But it's not far enough that you can't just walk down the road and go to the river. The location is perfect. It has its own little parking lot and when there's not enough parking, there's municipal on the street parking, etc. they have a great outdoor area in the back with s'mores stations and outdoor seating. They do events that are fun. Great for group gatherings great for business meetings. Great to just have a cuppa coffee in the morning after you drop the kids at daycare or school And just a hint I've probably done that about eight times now lol they have a variety of drinks you could even make up your own concoctions. I love that in the afternoon it turns into an alcoholic beverage bar in addition to a coffee bar. It's a great place to get friends together or even have happy hour. They have an old school glass window in case sunroom attached to the back clearly this is one of the old-fashioned houses from downtown Wilmington and back in the days which has now been converted. The only thing is the entrance is a little bit tight so if you see a line, please try not to squeeze through the front door to fill up the foyer we live in North Carolina, not Colorado When cold is cold here it's not as cold as up north or to the west lol other than that, the staff is always friendly and kind. I love having the events and I will say I sat at a table with the owner and her husband one night and they were absolutely fun from Long Island represent New York!!! And as a former New Yorker now North Carolina, I enjoy them bringing this business here! It definitely feels like a touch of Home down south! There's not a lot by the way of pastry or sandwiches, etc. but that's fine. This is a beverage bar and so limitations on the foods is great because honestly it's more attention on the beverages lol. For the s'mores bar, you could also do crackers and cheese, which I love because not all of us want to do s'mores And we like savory! Plus, it goes great with the alcohol lol definitely recommend this is a place to hit up if you're in downtown WILMINGTON either visiting or if you live here, I'm actually going to have a business meeting there in two weeks as well as meet a new friend on Tuesday for a cuppa coffee in the morning before work! What a lovely place! We found Concorde on social media and knew that we had to go on our most recent trip to Wilmington. I made a reservation weeks in advance as I had heard it can be tough to get in otherwise. It was well worth it as this place is amazing! We went on a fall evening and were greeted by a lovely fire and a large selection of drinks to choose from. We went with espresso martini flights and a s'mores platter. They paired perfectly together! You must try it! I can't wait to come back and try the other delicious sounding drinks on the menu. read more

Just the most charming little cafe. First time in Wilmington, & we walked to this cafe. The coffee selection was so wonderful (I'm a sucker for house made syrups & speciality drinks). My husband & I tried the latte Fleur which was made with house GROWN rosemary (what?!). So delightful. We also tried the latte Olivia and it was amazing. The seating inside is cozy, and the outside area is so charming! There were fire pits to keep us warm and it was such a nice environment. Truly one of the best cafes I've ever gone too. Only thing that would make it better would be food options! read more
Quite possibly the best drink spot I've ever been to. Such a unique experience in a beautiful setting outdoors with firepits, beautiful trees, and beautiful lights overhead. The drinks were so awesome that we had to get a second round from the super personable staff. And the music playlist was unbelievably good (electronic and house music). This place was the ultimately after dark Carolina vibe. This might be the coolest place in Wilmington, if not all of North Carolina. read more

This is a fantastic idea and a great use of that space! First, the parking as it's always tricky downtown! They have a lot right beside it for parking. The other thing to know is if you go in the afternoon, they scan your license and will seat you. They take reservations, so if you want to be outside, make them! The drinks are expensive! More like Charlotte prices than Wilmington prices. Three cocktails and tip was nearly $60. The espresso martini is one of the best I've had and is made with real espresso! I mean, they are a coffee shop until 3:00! The old fashioned was a huge miss. Probably the worst we've had. It's definitely a cool place to check out! This was our first time here and just like we hoped for this place met our expectations and beyond! So they have parking, so that is a major plus for a place in downtown Wilmington! We were greeted and because it was a beautiful day we sat outside! So the hostess explained how we scan the menu and place our orders! So we started off with an expresso martini flight, affogato and 2 different lattes! Let me tell you the affogato was delicious! We told our waiter that we were scared cause we had high expectations and compared it to the ones we had in Portugal!! Well definitely a 10!!! The martinis were delicious as well! We ordered another affogato and a Peach Italian soda! Again perfect! Everything was great, the service, the ambiance and the drinks!! Definitely will come back with friends and maybe at night to take in the ambiance and do some s'mores! You will not be disappointed!! read more
Stopped by for drink and to check out this place. This coffee bar is a part of this hotel. We did not see the rooms but saw people checking in. It looks like they have 12 different rooms. We sat inside but they have a nice outside area with fire pits. They make different speciality drinks and Expresso Martinis and Flights. A unique place for sure. read more
This spot is absolutely wonderful! We came on a Thursday night about an hour before they closed and got sat immediately. We got the s'mores and they were delish!! They cover them in sugar so they caramelize almost when you roast them- such a nice experience. We got the espresso martini flight and I got the s'mores espresso martini- delish!! Could you go somewhere else and get something a lot cheaper? That answer is yes. Would it come with such a great aesthetic and fire pits as this place? Maybe not. After my son got into UNCW, several friends fwd me a viral TikTok video showing Concorde Espresso bar. Espresso martinis and s'mores? Yes please! We arrived for our 5 pm reservation outside and no one was there! It was a very cool vibe. In the backyard of a historic hotel and free parking! It was 21+ after 3pm. The homemade marshmallows were awesome! When we roasted them the powdered sugar on the outside caramelized and it was amazing! The graham crackers were nice and crisp and we had a Reeces cup, cookies and cream Hershey bar and classic milk chocolate Hershey bar. There are 10 martinis on the menu and a martini flight option. I ordered the s'mores martini and sadly was disappointed. It was really weird tasting, almost floral. We had water that was complimentary but honestly wished we had asked for bottled. It was kind of bath-water temperature and not great. I would have given 5 stars but the s'mores martini and tap water weren't great. read more
Everyone has been raving about this espresso bar and I found that the quality of the drinks in the atmosphere is top-tier. My only suggestion would be that you were able to order through your server versus having to do it through an app, I feel like it's less personable and intimate. The line outside can feel like a nightclub at times, but I appreciate that they take their security so seriously. Overall I'm really happy for their newfound success and I think the drinks and overall ambience speaks for itself! 5 stars and a great spot for groups and photo worthy menu items. read more

Must make a reservation! With approx 30 different types of espresso martinis, this novelty experience is just that- novelty activity for pictures and expensive semi-decent espresso martinis. The s'mores kit did feel "premium", with what seemed like homemade marshmallows. Lots of fire pits and could accommodate medium sized groups read more
