Well we went for my 5 yo grandson! He loved it! Place is old, loud, crowded and not very pleasant. Stuffed 5 of us in a small booth with a chair on the end. Food is very expensive! And limited choices. The food was decent, had ribs, chicken pineapple dish, kids chicken fingers, and kids fruit plate. To be told, kids meals are $20.! The anamatronic dinosaurs were cool for the kids! They go off once an hour or so. They also have a roaming dinosaur costumed employee. So cool for little kids. The service was iffy at best. I highly recommend!! Took my son to Dinoland for dinner!! The ambiance is very nice the decor helps build the experience, our service was friendly and prompt. Our server was training another server and she was so well informed and helpful with any questions I asked. The food, appetizer I ordered the Calamari which was fried perfectly! My son had a plan TRex burger from the kids menu and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and kids meals do not include soda. He enjoyed. I had the fried chicken sandwich and broccoli which I enjoyed! DinoLand Cafe was our 1st stop once we hit Myrtle Beach. The ambiance was nice and the Dino decor and interaction was awesome but the food was not awesome and was way overpriced. A kids meal is $19.99 which is absolutely ridiculous. If you notice a bunch of water on the ground, it wasn't a small amount that it would ever dry without mopping it around, just mop it. Adding a caution sign doesn't help, we can clearly see it, it's a puddle. Just mop it up, daughter fell because of it. What a fun restaurant for kids. Animatronic dinosaurs everywhere along with delicious food for the adults. It was like taking a second trip to the mesozoic era! The kids enjoyed playing with the life-sized animatronic dinosaurs including a roaring T-Rex and a majestic Triceratops. The menu was filled with dinosaur themed foods. We ordered a caveman strip steak and a tyanoburger with fries. Kids devoured the burger and boldly proclaimed that it was the "Best burger ever!" And If that steak is truly what the cavemen used to eat then they lived some pretty great lives back then. While we were eating, there was someone that came by and offered to take a photo for us. I thought they were with the restaurant but apparently they were not and after the pic, they said it would cost us 15 to print it. I think you should let the customer know that beforehand but that's just me. We got it but just wanted to give others a heads up so they dont get blindsided. Overall a great experience! The experience is nice, but this place is way too expensive! The inside is fully decked out with tons of dinosaurs and other prehistoric figures. I knew my daughter would really enjoy going here. I think, I was so excited that I didn't check the menu prices. The menu prices are INSANE! Kids meals start of at 18 bucks, no matter what you get! I ordered a single bacon cheeseburger and fries for about 24 bucks. My wife ordered grilled salmon and rice for around 35 bucks. My oldest got a shrimp bowl for around 31 bucks. And my youngest got chicken stripe for 18 bucks. Our server was new and she struggled a bit with her English. But, she was extremely kind and professional. Our food came out and it didn't look bad. But when my family dug in, they were immediately disappointed. My wife pointed out the rice being severely undercooked. My oldest said the same thing, and she pointed out that her shrimp was overcooked. My wife decided to eat around her rice. My burger was a tad dry, but the fries were good. My daughter was too busy dino watching to really try her food. The lids for the kids drinks don't fit, we found out the hard way by spilling it all over her. Other guests experienced the same thing while we were there. I complained about the shrimp bowl and a manager removed it, but charged us for the small salad that came with it. At that point we were just ready to leave, so we didn't bother complaining again. The bathrooms are not very clean or private. Bacon Cheeseburger 1-5=3. Fries 1-5=4. Rice 1-5=0! Fun atmosphere for the kids, with dinosaurs that move and plenty of places for fun pictures. Food is a way overpriced but the kids liked their meals, and the salmon was cooked nicely. What should have been an easy customer service fix turned into the worst part of our visit. We were served a pizza that wasn't made as ordered, and the manager initially said he'd remove it from the bill. When the check came, he completely changed his mind and blamed us instead. The lack of accountability was more disappointing than the pizza itself. Add in bland, overpriced food and a restaurant that didn't feel very clean, and it's an easy decision not to come back. We were really looking forward to eating at Dinoland Cafe because the dinosaur theme is such a fun concept, especially for families. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the price. The atmosphere has a lot of potential, but during our entire visit the animatronic dinosaurs were not operating, which was disappointing since that's a big part of what makes the restaurant unique. The food was mediocre at best. My husband ordered the Paleozoic Era Burger with fries, and for $25, he expected a much better burger. I ordered the Pinosaur Shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The shrimp was okay, but the broccoli was cooked yet served cold and had no seasoning or flavor. We were dining with my husband's family, and everyone agreed their meals were just average. Service also had some issues. Several meals were brought out well before the others, leaving some of our group waiting quite a while while everyone else had already started eating. The biggest disappointment was the women's restroom. Out of four stalls, only one was actually usable. One toilet was missing a seat, another had no toilet paper, and another was clogged. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of cleanliness and maintenance was unacceptable. Overall, Dinoland Cafe has a fun concept, but the experience simply wasn't worth what we paid. Between the average food, inconsistent service, non-functioning animatronics, and poorly maintained restroom, we left feeling disappointed. Unless significant improvements are made, I wouldn't recommend it based on our experience. read more

I had a very good experience with my family at Dinoland, while many people bring their young kids my mother was excited to see the dinosaurs. Food was great I got the salmon veggie rice and I loved it. Very friendly staff that tells you the times the Dino's come out and explain you any questions you have. Our daughter had been looking forward to visiting this place for months, so we drove 2 1/2 hours just to come here. She loved the place, the atmosphere, and the setup. That's where the good ends. Once we sat down we were astonished at the prices. But, it was a special trip, so we sucked it up. Then we waited 20 minutes to get seen by a server because he was dealing with a problem at another table. We ordered and waited again for about 10 minutes for drinks. Mind you, the place was pretty empty. Food eventually came out and my wife's 12 ounce steak had about a 4 ounce ball of fat on the end of it. For $55, she just sent it back and took it off the bill. However, we were still charged $6 for a salad that was the size of a small cereal bowl. I had half of chicken, the size of a Cornish game hen, $40, which was "marinated" for 12 hours in what tasted like the water from the salmon because it tasted more like tuna than chicken. And the Cole slaw it was served with came in a sample cup one small spoon could handle. I could go one, but I think that's enough. At least our daughter's food was ok and she had a great time, but it will for sure be a one and done visit. read more

We came here as a fun supper for our last night in Myrtle Beach. Aru was absolutely fantastic!! She was very attentive, friendly and professional. Our food was fresh and tasty. My kiddo got the Old Bones from the kid menu. My mom had the Lava Mountain BBQ ribs. And I had the Pinosaur Chicken with Pineapple. I would love for them to include the pineapple pieces in the rice. The birthday desserts at the end were delicious. Loved all the fun dinosaur and ice age statues and animatronics. Our son and his family is in town visiting us from Las Vegas. We have not been here yet as we figured when our 6 year old grandson came to visit we would take them all to experience Dino land with us. This place did not disappoint. It's geared to the family with kids and of course birthday parties!! The food was delicious my wife and I had the NY Strip and the steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The entire meal was awesome and we got som quality sit down time after not seeing the kids for a year. Our server Ais was awesome and attended to all our needs. Before I post my review, let's get one thing straight right off the bat. This place is EXPENSIVE. A family of three should not expect to get out of here for under $100. With that said, this place is also a lot of fun. If you have kids who are into dinosaurs, and it's within your budget, Go for it! The burgers are good quality, though not exactly sure if they are $25 burgers. The desserts are pretty nice as well. Recommend trying the dragon egg. What you're really going here for however is the ambience and the floor show. There are statues and animatronic dinosaurs all over the place, as well as a prehistoric decor overall. A "real life" velociraptor makes scheduled rounds through the dining room, which is a lot of fun. read more

Absolutely horrible. The manager, Gokhar, is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and clearly unfit for the role. She alone will run the place into the ground. We walked in and had a distasteful and downright ugly experience with her at the hostess desk before being seated; so much that my young children asked to leave the restaurant before ordering "because of that mean lady". We did precisely as they asked (& trust me, based on the overpriced McDonalds menu, filth, visible health code and food safety violations, and outdated dinosaur decor... we didn't miss anything). If you're like me, you'll likely be surprised by your experience at DinoLand Cafe after seeing many 5 star Google reviews; however, if you read through the postings (& ask patrons that are dining there), you will quickly learn that they offer a 5% discount on your bill in exchange for a 5 star review. While they say they do this to promote "honest feedback", you must show proof of a 5 star rating in order to have the credit applied to your bill. So much for honesty, right? It's evident the DinoLand Cafe team doesn't care about laws and regulations because the business has actually replied to several reviews about this "promotion" where they deny or discourage it, but continue to do it. This is not only fraudulent, but wildly illegal-- The FTC and South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs (SCDCA) has been notified via official reports as of this evening, along with Google Maps/Reviews. Without falsifying information and bribing customers with a savings on an already ridiculously overpriced bill, there's no way this place will ever stay in business. A thrilling dining experience for kids and adults who are dinosaur lovers. The restaurant's huge open dining space has plenty of dinosaurs all around, and most of them dance and scream in sync in intervals, accompanied by a screeching sound and led light thunders. A walking Trex also comes out every our and visits each table entertaining the guests and trying to chew off their head :p The food here is not that bad, but pricey. I liked the calamari a lot. Hawaiian flatbread and fried chicken sandwich were decent. The Pinosour shrimp probably was the best dish, with delicious blackened shrimp and rice served right inside a pineapple. For salad entree they serve huge bowls, full of lettuce, tomatoes, croquettes, cucumbers and fruits. The service was little underwhelming. Difficult to get hold of the server. They also offer 4% discount for cash. A lady also walks over to each table to take family photos. One picture is free, rest are 1 for $20 or 2 for $30. How do you say rip off? We took our grand children for dinner. The WiFi wasn't working so none of the Few dinosaur models would work. We weren't told before we were seated and ordered our meals. If you don't have a second mortgage on your house, you'll need one when you see the prices for the just "OK" food . There is a realistic dinosaur costume that someone wears that is trotted out on the hour only. When I complained and asked for a reduction in price I was given a hard time and was told that I needed to talk to the owner. When I asked to see the owner, a second 'manager' arrived to tell me that the owner wasn't there. She offered me a 20% discount on the bill. That was all that she could authorize. The bill with 3 lemon aids, a water, one grilled cheese sandwich; one chicken sandwich; a fruit bowl and a fish and chips was $95.00 after a 20% reduction without tip. Avoid this restaurant! The food was extremely overpriced, the service was slow, and the dinosaur decorations looked like they could have been purchased on Temu. Please look at the menu prices before you go. The kids menu has everything priced at $18. That price includes a very basic main (one of our kids ordered grilled cheese, the other ordered chicken fingers (they got 3)), frozen French fries, and a plastic cup of ice cream. This does not include the drink which costs $6. The cheapest thing on the adult menu is $24.... My wife and I split a meal and our bill for our family of 4 was still over $90. Our server Timeea was wonderful. Very friendly and took care of all our needs. The menu is small but packs a punch. We really enjoyed the ribs and the blackened shrimp in the pineapple dish. The atmosphere is a bit hit with young kids. My son was quite enamored with all the dinosaurs around the restaurant. We sat next to the big T-Rex!
