I've been coming to Sena Cafe for several years and have always meant to leave a review -- so it's definitely about time. This place is a hidden little gem in Mount Pleasant. The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Decided to take a drive to Mt Pleasant for a couple of errands and wanted to find somewhere new to try for lunch and coffee. After checking out several options, we landed on Sena Cafe. The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again. read more

This cafe is so cute and the people inside were so friendly! We have a busy toddler so we took our food to go. I got a Lobster roll to share with my husband and we got a little tiramisu cheesecake as well. The lobster roll was absolutely incredible! The bread itself was so buttery and perfectly grilled, the sauce on the bun was so flavorful. The lettuce was fresh. But the lobster....oh my goodness. So buttery, so fresh and they are generous with the portion! It was served with kettle chips which were a nice crunchy side. We were too full to try the cheesecake right now, but I'm sure later when we try it, it will be incredible! We will definitely be back! read more

Maybe I came on the wrong day or did not order the right thing after looking at other reviews. We ordered a croissant sandwich, cinnamon roll, and two different coffees (a latte and an iced coffee) and I felt like it was lackluster. Nothing to write home about. Customer service felt rushed/impatient as we tried to decide on the menu (with no one behind us). The cinnamon roll was cold and would have been better served warm. Overall, it was just okay. Such an adorable cafe with an extensive menu! Quick, friendly service as well. I ordered the Keto Cado, which was beautifully served in two avocado shells. It featured grilled chicken breast, red onion, avocado, bell pepper, cucumber, and tomato! All dressed in a light lemon juice and olive oil mix. Super fresh, flavorful, and delish! It's topped with bacon, which I could easily do without. Overall, a healthy and delicious meal. I'll definitely be back to try more of their salad and sandwich options. I've always wanted to try this place and finally met my friend there for lunch! This adorable cafe is the perfect spot to grab a quick breakfast/lunch or coffee. There's about 10 tables and it could potentially host your smaller book club or group outing. The menu has a selection of sandwiches, soups and salads all in the lighter side which is nice. I ordered the spicy sandwich and it was LOADED with spicy pepperoni on the freshest bread. I got the kale salad as the side and to my surprise it was delicious. The woman behind the counter was very kind and helpful with my choices since I was new. There's also a dessert cabinet filled with cakes, pies, bars and cinnamon rolls! Lives up to the hype! Wow. This place is delicious and we will definitely be back. Came for breakfast and coffee. Delicious coffee, not sour nor acidic. The avocado bruschetta was so heavenly. The bread was soft and fluffy. Avocado perfectly ripe. The Apple crumble cake was to die for - moist, perfect crumb, excellent of apples and sweet on top. The owners were also very charming our order was ready very quickly and the outdoor seating was perfect as it's under many shade trees and has umbrellas at tables as well. We stopped here on our way out of town because we were passing this area and saw the great reviews! We arrived right at 7AM and the staff was so kind. It was a great way to start our trip on the road. Delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I both ordered the same thing. Delightful cafe near Hobby Lobby, Home Depot. Very nice menu selections, well prepared. I had a breakfast sandwich that was remarkably good. Spacious, attractive outside seating area, as well as good seating inside (slightly loud, but not oppressive). The staff were friendly and pleasant, did not resort to the canned "How is your day going?" scripts. The chef was on site and prepared the orders. I hadn't eaten at Sena for a couple of years. What a wonderful treat! This was my first visit to Sena Cafe. A friend asked me to go there after I said I loved lobster rolls. You just order then sit where you like. Dining room was nice, cool & clean (as was bathroom). There are also tables outside. Our lobster rolls were brought out within about five minutes. They were delicious! The best I've ever eaten (and I've been to Maine). Located in a nice little area with ample parking. I even decided to get a lobster roll to go. The owner handed me the bag, which I assumed was plastic. I asked if I could give it back because I hate plastic and he said it was made out of bamboo. I commended him for doing his part to preserve our environment, since I feel strongly about that too. Just another reason to support this great small business! I am so happy I found this place. My boyfriend and I were in the area wanting to go to Hobby Lobby but the parking lot was packed and we were both feeling a little hungry and didn't want to wait. This café was right around the corner and easy to find. The employees were very nice and accommodating and helped explain the menu. This is a very cute café that has lots of coffee options as well as sandwiches, salads, and desserts. My boyfriend and I both got the prime rib sandwich and oh my gosh. It was so delicious! The bread was soft and warm, and the prime rib was cooked perfectly. I wish I lived closer because I would come here every day. My sister and I arrived here after a hike on the Ravenel Bridge. The pretty lady was solo at the counter taking orders and making coffee for customers. She was extremely pleasant and classy. This place is tucked away back by some condos/apartments and doesn't have road frontage so it is a little hard to find. We came on a Friday evening and there weren't many people so we ordered right away. We ordered the shrimp and lobster rolls which came with chips. They were good but to be honest there wasn't much to them and the chips that came with them were small. For the price of the rolls, we thought there would have been a little larger with more "meat".
