The restaurant was recommended to me by Daryl, the Relief Night Manager at the Homewood Suites…read more The atmosphere is very elegant, with white linen tablecloths and silverware. I was served by Suzie, who was extremely attentive and very professional. She noticed that I was perspiring after my long walk, so she immediately brought me a glass of ice water. For an appetizer, Suzie recommended the Heirloom Tomato Salad, which complemented my entrée of Beef and Pork Ragu perfectly. For wine, Suzie suggested a glass of GLS Quilt Merlot. For dessert, as I am a chocoholic, I selected the Chocolate Addiction. The only negative was the bread. It was a bun with a taste of honey. Personally, I believe that a fine-dining restaurant should serve sliced French bread rather than a roll. Overall, I had a very enjoyable dining experience, thanks in large part to Suzie's excellent service.

We ordered the two-person seafood tower, and it was the perfect amount to share. It included shrimp, oysters, crab claws, and smoked trout dip, with the trout dip being my personal favorite. Since our group wasn't very hungry, we shared a variety of appetizers, sides, and desserts. Each dish was incredible and we left completely satisfied without feeling overly full. The Coconut Cake is an absolute must-order--it's every bit as good as everyone says! Our server was attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel extra special. As a thoughtful surprise, they brought the birthday girl complimentary macarons, which were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a restaurant with exceptional food, outstanding service, and a beautiful ambiance for a celebration or date night, Peninsula Grill is definitely worth a visit!

Fun fact: there are not a lot of businesses open on this island on a Monday. After spending the…read morelast few days eating seafood, we decided it was finally time for a steakhouse. I was able to make a reservation through Yelp, and although our reservation was pretty late at 8 PM, we walked in and luckily grabbed seats at the bar instead. That ended up being the best part of the night. Both bartenders were absolutely amazing. One was incredibly knowledgeable about wine, while the other knew everything about spirits, so we ended up getting a mini education on all kinds of drinks and even did a little tasting. It made the whole experience so much fun and interactive. We eventually settled on a bottle of red wine and shared a filet mignon. I highly recommend ordering the potatoes because whoever prepares them is seriously talented. They were thinly sliced and stacked into this beautiful cake-like structure that completely melted in your mouth. Between chatting with the bartenders and the people sitting next to us, we ended up staying much longer than planned simply because we were enjoying ourselves so much. I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. It's more than just dinner -- it's an experience, and I highly recommend checking it out.

We had the porterhouse and au gratin potatoes, a wedge salad, and clam chowder, plus desserts. Steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The potatoes were absolutely amazing- yum yum. The carrot cake was delicious and huge. Going to be eating it for days.

My first time ever had tears and I am finally here for happy hour. They do a happy hour from 4 to 6…read moredaily. I got the house margarita for $5.50 and then I also got an L pastor taco for five dollars as well as the fresh chips and also for $1 dollar. I'm not sure you can beat this pricing for happy hours after work!! A gentleman behind the bar is very knowledgeable about his menu and what is on the happy hour menu. The ambience in here feels like a mom and pop Spanish restaurant. They have a patio lighting as well as a really cool mural. They have some use of reclaimed wood and different types of furniture. I haven't gotten my food yet, but I like this vibe. It's very chill and relaxed. They have all of their tequilas out behind the bar so you can see which ones they have. The only downside is the way they taste has their drinks to make sure they're the correct tasting wise. The gentleman in the baseball cap and the other gentleman pour the drink onto the back of their hand, and then put their hands in their mouth to taste the drink and I feel like they could just do the straw method because what if their fingers that they're using to shake your drink with I just it's kind of like disgusting to watch. 10/10 Definitely returning for the drinks and sitting at a table next time!!!
