Not only are they incredibly friendly & nice, I felt like was I talking to a friend! So for what I was going to spend on a dozen cookies, I was able to get 3 times as much to send to me son for him & his co-workers. They delivered to his office & knowing I was in Ca she took a picture of my son receiving his baked goods & sent it to me! Over the top service & can I say some of the guys got on the phone to tell me how incredible these desserts were. Thank you Trisha for making my son's birthday that much sweeter! I will certainly be back!

Plus a lot of the bakeries in the area close at 6. So I found Sweet Dreams on here and decided to give it a try. I called in an order around 5:45 and had fresh cupcakes and still warm from the oven cookies at my door by 8pm. Needless to say it made his day and I was more than impressed with everything. We ordered a sampler pack and had her pick out a variety for us. We ended up with some cinnamon things (yum!), apple supremes (husband's favorite so far), and several types of cupcakes as well as some warm chocolate chip cookies. My favorite is the chocolate cupcake. I've had cupcakes from some of the best bakeries and this one is right up there with them. It's moist, it's light, it's rich but not cloying, it's super chocolatey and it's just the right amount to satisfy that chocolate craving. I'll have to add more to my next order because my son claimed one and then wanted a bite of mine too! We still have a few more things to try but I expect they will all be just as good. She does take credit cards, you can pay ahead by phone or at the door, perfect since I rarely have cash on me anymore!

The Pecan Chewy is rich and buttery, not overly sweet. The Strawberry Crumble Cake was sweet and moist, with a perfect light and fluffy icing. They were perfect for that light breakfast with family when nobody wants to cook. We paired them with some fresh fruit, coffee, and tea, and it was a hit! Thank you Eli for the delicious treats and making me the hostess with the mostest.

And I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations! The slice of pie was HUGE (very tall) and it had some kind of a sauce/cheese combo on top of the tomatoes that was fantastic. Combined with the pie crust, it reminded me of a slice of Chicago deep dish pizza! My husband and I also shared the following: cinnamon rolls, salted caramel brownie and a white chocolate raspberry bread pudding muffin. All were huge, rich in flavor and very satisfying. I already can't wait to come back again! :)

Because if I need it and it's not there I'll come find you. :) The filling was the best filling I've ever had. The baked portion, too. And I grew up enjoying the bakeries of NYC and the area. What made it so good? It was not a disgustingly sweet, gelatinous blob. It had what I could only call a "natural" style filling. Not gelatinous. Not super sweet. One bite and you'll know that this is the way it's really supposed to be. It will ruin your enjoyment of all other blueberry danishes. Like I said, don't order one. :) Bon appétit.

Luckily, considering it was early afternoon, they still had a decent variety of desserts to select from. Their drink menu is very limited, but we chose the honeycomb latte, which was absolutely incredible! (Your dentist won't be thrilled by your choice, however, lol) We also tried their cake bowl of the day and a huge salted chocolate chip cookie, which was probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted! The cake bowl was some sort of mixed berry, it was very tasty! There is some indoor seating, but not a lot, as well as a few tables outside when it cools off. The prices could be considered slightly high, but I felt that the quality made for a good value. So, if you're looking for a traditional coffee shop, this is not it. But if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth in an upscale, trendy locale, you must stop in!

They are also closed on Sunday Monday's. It's very chic inside, they have a small seating area & of note they are about to open a Creamery right next door. That will be yum. I'm delighted to be able to support local and wish them all the very best. If I'm ever back in Summerville I'll definitely return to Swank.

One…read morething I always appreciate right off the bat is that they offer an outdoor patio that's pet-friendly -- huge bonus for anyone who likes to bring their pup along for coffee runs. This visit was a drive-thru order for us. They did let us know they were pretty busy, which is totally understandable, but I will say the wait was a bit on the longer side before we got our drinks. As for the coffee itself -- my husband ordered a decaf latte with tiramisu syrup, and unfortunately the flavor fell a little flat. He mentioned it tasted very weak overall, and the tiramisu didn't really come through at all. I ordered a decaf latte with cookie dough syrup. Mine was decent -- the coffee itself tasted good -- but similar to his, the syrup flavor didn't quite match what I expected. It didn't really give that cookie-dough taste, just a light sweetness. Price-wise, it came to just under $15 for one medium decaf latte and one large decaf latte with syrups, which feels pretty fair for specialty coffee drinks. Overall, not a bad stop -- especially if you're looking for a pet-friendly coffee spot with a patio -- but I do wish the flavored syrups had been a bit stronger and more true to taste. I'd be open to trying them again and exploring other flavors on the menu.
