    Apple strudel latte

I love this not so hidden gem. This was my first time and I was really impressed. It's small but has seating inside and out and the parking is fairly easy. Is nestled in a small shopping center in West Ashley. We got the apple strudel latte (which was amazing) and a strawberry and cream cheese pastry. The staff was welcoming and knew their stuff. Definitely worth a try

I stopped in because I saw all these beautiful pastries and cakes online.. they always have a gluten-free cake apparently and I loved the strawberry and lavender version of it. It was very pretty before it got cut but the taste was just the same. Service did not take long and I got mine to go... it's a cute little cafe with sandwiches and coffees as well.

Cafe Charlotte is a cute quaint cafe across from the Citadel Mall. Very clean an open restaurant with plenty of seating. The price is reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I order my food to go and the serve was quick. The egg sandwich on the English muffin was delicious. If you are in the West Ashley area take time out and check out this little cafe. I think you will enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Went here for early lunch and we like this cute little cafe on the corner of the establishment. The girl behind the counter was friendly and took out ordered pretty well. My friend ordered the English muffin with egg and I ordered the hashtag (croissant with brown sugar bacon, hashbrown, cheese, and egg) which was pretty good. I also ordered the hot latte but the coffee was not hot it was kinda like warm temperature. I had iced coffee latte from this place before so next visit I think I am going to order iced coffee instead of hot coffee.

Not my favorite coffee shop. I didn't enjoy the hot chocolate. It tasted watery and little to no flavor. The soup was tasted like warm prego sauce to me. The sandwich was lacking in flavor but just because I didn't like it doesn't mean it's not good. Maybe someone's cup of tea but it mine.

The people are SOOOOOO nice! They were friendly and kind and helpful. Plus I mentioned my dog was in the car (the air was on) and they gave me a free dog treat!!! They had a water bowl out when I walked up. Their outdoor section is very dog friendly. The coffee is delicious! The food is next level. It is worth coming here just for the service, the coffee and food are the icing on the cake!

Americano is $4.36 for 4 oz of coffee. That's a really terrible value. Maybe I'm paying for the mediocre ambiance in the cafe.

Quaint independent breakfast Café with European charm. Owned and run by a sweet local family, with German roots. The menu has a variety of options to fit most breakfast desires. Fresh breads and pastries are made mostly in house with a few staples but vary. I placed my order at the register with the owner's sweet daughter. Service was perfect. Order, short wait for your name on the order to be called, and pick up at the counter. There were multiple tables of various sizes to choose from and a sofa. There was a short line, but customers were friendly and gave up seats happily as they finished eating and saw people waiting for tables. Great place to meet up and share a piece of cake or quietly sip coffee, and play chess. I ordered the keep it simple sandwich which was an egg, cheese, and bacon on an English muffin. Everything tasted fresh and nothing was overcooked. It took me a little while to get here since they opened to get here, but I'm sure I will be back.

Cute little family owned business with pastries and coffee as well as a menu of regular food. We really appreciated the kind service and yummy food!

To start... they are open seven days a week and they are actually open their full day! The staff is very quick. Wonderful European coffee. I've only had one meal there and it was a remarkable breakfast sandwich.

The hostess took my phone number down and said she would text me to let me know when our table was ready. Since this location is in downtown Charleston, it was easy to wander around outside and keep ourselves entertained until I got the text that our table was about to be ready and we had 10 minutes to check in. Once I checked in, we were seated immediately and told to scan the QR code at the table to see the menu. A few minutes later, our server came by and asked if we wanted coffee or other drinks. After she came back with drinks, she took our order. I got the cornmeal pancakes. They are made of cornmeal so they had a different taste than what I was used to with pancakes. It wasn't a bad taste. They tasted like a combo of sweet, but also savory. They also felt very light so I didn't feel overstuffed after eating them. Because of how busy they are, they got us in and out in less than 40 minutes. There are signs at the table to not stay longer than 90 minutes, but this was no problem here. Just something to keep in mind to not hang around if you're done with your meal and you see a giant wait outside. As we were leaving, other people were being quoted about a 45+ minute wait. Since it's in downtown Charleston, there is no dedicated parking lot. However, there is street parking available nearby. As someone that cannot parallel park, I went the safe route and parked in a parking garage that was close by. I paid $4 for that. Overall, great breakfast place and quick service!

We were walk-ups and a had a very short wait n a bright Sunday fall morning on King Street. We were seated in the main dining room and were quickly tended to by our waiter. Our two spicey Bloody Mary's were very tasty and decent sized pint glasses. We ordered two egg entrees and the Bacon & Ham omelet was terrific - hot and flavorful. The highlight of our Sunday brunch was Toast's huge homemade fresh biscuits - Wow - wonderful served warm. Toast is a success and has a bright interior decor. We saw couples and many families with kids - so a great choice for all. Cheers.

There must have been a miscommunication between staff members, because after we were seated, nobody came to serve our table, and we had to ask for a server. We weren't the only people that this happened to, as another group of patrons sat next to us, and then got up and left after not being served for an extended period of time. After flagging down a server, the experience was fine, but nothing spectacular. Out waitress wasn't very attentive, which was a little frustrating because we were on a timeline. This was kind of disappointing, because I really did like the ambiance of the restaurant, and it would have been nice if the experience was representative of that. They had a really cool open-air brick oven for pizzas, and I loved the aesthetic of the bar as well. Luckily, they had a few IPAs in a can, and my friend said that their drink was pretty good as well. All-in-all, Toast! All Day was a cool restaurant, but the poor communication between staff members kind of put a damper on the experience. I would be willing to come back and give it another shot in the future, however.
