A cute house turned restaurant/local shop. The variety of breads and bagels is great. Lots of vegan and gluten free options. The space can be a little tight, but that's what you get when you turn a house into a restaurant. The art and furniture is all great and gives a homey vibe. The food was great, tasted very fresh. The egg is premade (so no option for sunny side up, over easy etc) which can be good or bad. The staff is super friendly and answers any questions.
Market/cafe style with many local products, including honey, pickles, and popcorn. Sandwiches are made to order with any specifications you desire. The Italian on ciabatta was delicious! Get it with the mayo as listed on the menu or if you don't like mayo, do extra balsamic; mine was a bit dry bc I don't like mayo. The salted brown sugar syrup for coffee is very good. They have two large rooms with indoor seating and a large area in the back with plenty of picnic tables and chairs. There's a small play area for the kids. Restrooms are clean and family friendly. The young ladies who work the front counter are so friendly and sweet.
Odd Duck is such a cute little spot in Summerville. There are plenty of areas to sit and relax, or do some work if needed. There are many little side rooms or an outside area too. I love all the historic home details. The sandwich was yummy as well!
This is an excellent addition to old Summerville! The restored old 1870's home is immaculate and plenty of room to sit and walk around inside and out with beautiful art and old original mantels. I order the pesto sides, espresso and the roast beef, cheddar with arugula and tomatoes. There wasn't any arugula or cheddar, but it was a still delicious!! I'll definitely be back here to try more items.
Happy to see Odd duck open in Summerville. Do have to agree that the premade egg/no option to select your own style is kind of a bummer. Had the breakfast burrito with sweet potato, the egg, and added some bacon. Really good. Son had a turkey and cheese on focaccia. Bread was delicious, but the bread to turkey & cheese ratio was kind of off. We peeled the top slice off and my son ate half Excited to come and try again! The coffees looked amazing. Huge line on a Friday at 11! Had to sit outside but it was set up beautifully. Has great potential!
Odd Duck Market in Summerville is a very cute spot with a charming building and multiple separate dining rooms, which makes it a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. They have high chairs available, which is appreciated, and the atmosphere is enhanced by the fun wallpaper throughout the space. The pastries were excellent, the cinnamon bun and croissant were both delicious. I also really enjoyed the seasonal salted maple brown sugar iced latte with vanilla cold foam. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich itself was good, however, I was disappointed to learn that the eggs are premade in molds and it's not possible to request a fried egg. Premade eggs were a deal breaker for me and took away from the experience. Overall, it's a cute place with good pastries, tasty coffee, and cute merchandise for sale, but the lack of flexibility with made-to-order eggs makes it hard for me to rate it higher.
I was amazed at the location of this place. The house is absolutely lovely and mesmerizing. I ordered an everything bagel with sausage and egg with a vanilla latte-absolutely delicious. It's gems like these that I like to find when traveling. What a perfect Saturday morning.
First time visiting Odd Duck Market. I met someone for coffee. Let me start with how beautiful this vintage house is beautiful!!! So many little rooms with seating options, little goodies, and more. You walk in and there is an ordering station. I really could not decide what I wanted because everything looked so good, but I decided on an iced coffee and a chocolate croissant. The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted it warmed, and oh yes, I am glad I did. it delish. You get a little table number for the food, and they will bring it to your table. We decided to sit outside in the back, where there are sunny and shady tables, and also a kids area to play. The chocolate croissant and iced coffee were so tasty. I will be back to try more items. Happy I tried this place.
Beautifully renovated home in downtown Summerville. Amazing sandwiches and pastries with super friendly staff. Their N Charleston location is awesome so we were excited to see them bring the awesomeness to downtown Summerville.
Super excited for this place to open in downtown Summerville. This place so so cool to walk around in, it seemed like there were endless rooms. Seating was offered in every small room or nook and they had a sprawling outdoor patio. The only thing I'll say is that when you walk in, if it's not busy then you'll be fine in line because it is right at the front door. When we left the line was all the way out to the patio so I found it to be a challenging location. The food was BOMB. You could just taste the quality of the ingredients used, the flavors were on point. I loved my breakfast wrap - who knew adding sweet potatoes would be a game changer. My husband's BEC with this unique GF bread was insane. We've never had anything like it. The staff were so friendly, brought us our coffees and were clearing plates for us. It was just a wonderful time siting outside and we enjoyed ourselves. We cannot wait to come back!!

Such a charming neighborhood market and cafe with so much room in the back for the kids to run around and play, and of course the different seating areas inside. I ordered a smoked salmon bagel - something I never order and would absolutely order it again. Also got a vanilla latte with oat milk and it was the cherry on top! Everyone was so friendly, and helpful!

There are lots of seats on the front porch as well as seating inside in several rooms and then also seating in the back ... WITH a playground for children. They also have a little provisional store with local handmade artisan goods. The line went fast but we had barely made it to our seat when our meals were brought to us! So quick! Both sandwiches were light and fresh and the focaccia bread was *chefs kiss*. Breakfast is served all day but no matter what time I go back I am definitely trying one of their iced coffees that I saw someone else having and one of their homemade poptarts.
This is an adorable cafe, quirky, with friendly staff, delicious and creative food, interesting atmosphere, calm and comfortable like being in a friend's living room. They have a small shopping area as well that feels like the old days, very neighborhood like. It's handicap accessible. There's outdoor seating we'll enjoy when it warms up. Odd Duck Market had been on my radar after a friend enthusiastically recommended it, declaring it her absolute favorite coffee shop. Naturally, my expectations were high, and I'm happy to report that this little gem did not disappoint! As a first-time visitor, I appreciated the casual, laid-back concept. It's not your traditional sit-down restaurant. You place your order at the counter, choose a seat indoors or outside, and leave your assigned number on the table so the team knows where to deliver your food. Simple, efficient, and easygoing. Enter Joe -- our cashier, barista, server, and, as we later discovered, resident mind reader! We ordered seasonal pumpkin spice lattes with oat milk and breakfast wraps. Joe offered us the choice between 12- and 16-ounce lattes, and we opted for the smaller size. Both the food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the pricing felt more than reasonable for the quality and portions. The breakfast wrap was flavorful, filling, and thoroughly satisfying. I only ate half, not because I wasn't enjoying it, but because I wanted to save a little room for a possible dessert adventure later. Priorities, right? The pumpkin spice latte was equally enjoyable and the perfect seasonal complement. We chose to sit outside in the cutest little courtyard, and honestly, the setting was everything! Beautiful weather, sunshine, a relaxed atmosphere, and the opportunity to do a little people-watching while enjoying great conversation. Sometimes it's those simple moments that make a dining experience memorable. Now, back to Joe and his mind-reading abilities! My friend had completely devoured her breakfast wrap, leaving absolutely no evidence behind, while I still had half of mine to take home. As she kindly got up to grab me a to-go box, Joe was already meeting her at the door with one! No asking. No searching. Just anticipation and genuine attentiveness. THAT is hospitality! It's the little things that separate simply taking orders from truly taking care of people. Between the delicious food, wonderful coffee, charming courtyard, and Joe's exceptional service, I completely understand why my friend considers Odd Duck Market her favorite coffee shop. Wow *insert vibes here* because what a fantastic place. All I could think of is the families that lived in this old southern gem of a home many years ago and how lucky we are to experience it now as this quaint little market! I ordered the prosciutto breakfast sandwich. It was definitely the most unique breakfast sandwich I've ever had and also one of the BEST. The focaccia bread was outstanding and paired well with the Calabrian chili mayo sauce. I would absolutely come back here just to get this sandwich again. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for an "out of the ordinary" experience :) read more

Visited on a Saturday and the line was long but it moved quick! Lots of different seating options and well decorated. The prosciutto sandwich was delicious on focaccia. The iced matcha was not too good but the delicious food made up for it! read more

Loved this place! Sooo many gluten free and dairy free options. I got the chicken salad sandwich on the gf bialy bread. It was amazing! Saw they had gf wraps too. I also got one of their chocolate chip cookies. The atmosphere was also very cute. I hope to be back!! read more

Literally one of my favorite coffee shops I have ever been to! Consistently amazing coffee with homemade syrups which is always the best. I could not get enough of their homemade pop tarts! They have such a great vibe to hang out and work or chat with friends. I would recommend this place to anyone in Summerville. I am so sad I was only visiting the area and I already miss my daily odd duck latte! read more
