Visited with my family and had a delicious meal! I'm always thankful for locations that offer Gluten Free options. It's a bummer it's an extra $4 for the cauliflower crust, but it is delicious! read more

Newk's Eatery - BBQ Chicken Pizza - Sandwiches Near Me - Summerville, South Carolina

As someone who eats gluten-free, I was really happy to find that Newk's offers a gluten-free pizza crust option. I ordered the Newk's Q pizza, and it was excellent. The smoky barbecue sauce, chicken, and toppings all worked together perfectly, and the crust held up well without being overly dense or falling apart. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. It's great to have another reliable gluten-free option in Summerville. read more

We love Newks for a quick lunch, especially after church. The nuke's favorite salad is my favorite. It is always delicious, the chicken is always tender, and the flavor is amazing. My husband usually gets the pizza and soup, which is equally yummy! Everyone that works there, from the cashiers that take your orders to the people that deliver your food are so kind. We always have excellent service. The managers walk around to make sure you have everything you need. The inside was recently remodeled and has plenty of spots for larger families and booths for more intimate eating. It's a super cute place to stop in for a quick lunch or dinner. read more

Food was good ,service fast. No ambiance. Peach tea was very good. If you are in a hurry and a budget this is the place for you.

We had a good first experience here. Lots of choices, good looking salads and the staff was right on it. I'll go back.

Came for a pizza would have been better having a frozen pizza and for 17.00 a small pizza and one soda not worth it. Place was clean kind maybe pizza is not their thing and they should just do salads. As for service you get a number they bring your food not to difficult. read more

Newk's Eatery - Loaded Potato Bowl of Soup Pairing - Sandwiches Near Me - Summerville, South Carolina

This is our usual go to after church at least once a month. You can typically find something good in the soup of the day and either a sandwich or a full size personal Pizza. My kids typically get the kids menu which they seem to have finally got a good portion size for the kids. My wife goes for one of their signature salads which always seems to satisfy with even some to bring home. Their level of customer service is typically an 8 out of 10 because they are very helpful but just need to put a smile on those faces LOL. You can't beat the tea and the free breadsticks are a plus. read more

Food was phenomenal quick service good prices will be going again when I'm in the area

Love the Newks fave salad and Newks Q sandwich! Service is always great. Quality of food is good.

BBQ pizza is delicious!!! I ordered online and it was ready in 10 minutes. The ordering was quick and easy read more

We stopped at Newk's Statesboro, Ga. location shortly after it opened. We ordered soup & a sandwich. The soup was loaded potato, & it was good (albeit somewhat bland). My sandwich a turkey avocado, mainly because I love avocados! The avocado on my sandwich was a week away from being ripe enough to consume! It literally was akin to eating a slice of hard green wax! I hope this was just start-up jitters!? Otherwise this location won't be open for long! read more

Fast and pretty affordable for a large family to eat. The food comes out quickly and they can accommodate changes to an order like not having nuts in a salad or subbing a type of cheese or dressing. The Newks q is a super unique sandwich and is really good. My Cobb salad was very generous with blue cheese and all of the additions to the salad. My only concern was that it was not super clean with empty plates from previous families still on the table. To be fair it was an off time of the day and they may have been short staffed but it was more than a few tables. read more

Food was fresh but was overpriced and food wasn't as tasty as I expected ! Service was acceptable other than the guy telling my gf we weren't allowed to have our tiny chihuahua puppy wasn't allowed to sit in a booth so we had to sit outside ! Won't be back again ! read more

My husband and I visited for lunch on Saturday. Upon entering we were greeted by the manager. We walked right up to the counter and was able to order. I had not visited Newks in years. I really wanted soup since they had a food variety of flavors, but it was just so hot outside. I also felt like it was hot in the restaurant. Upon sitting down to wait for our food, it was hot in there and almost felt like the A/C was not working. It was really stuffy. I ordered the chicken, bacon, and swiss. The chicken was dry, glad there was honey mustard for the sandwich. I just got chips as my side. Visit was ok, but did not scream I have to come back. I did appreciate the clean bathroom and there was an employee bussing the tables and cleaning them in betwen customers. When I visit again, I would like to try the pizza, it did look good when orders were coming out. read more

I come here every time I am in town visiting my parents. Food is made to order and there are plenty of menu options to choose from. They offer soup, salad, sandwiches, and pizzas. You can get a combo with a soup and salad, sandwich and salad or soup, or a whole sandwich with your choice of side. Sides are chips, fruit cup, pasta salad, or coleslaw. We usually get sandwiches and the bread is always perfectly soft, but still has a bite to it. The salads are great here too! They have fountain soda as well as fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea with free refills. Plenty of seating inside or take it to go! I love this place and I wish they had more locations, especially in south Florida! read more

Love this place! The food is always so good and flavorful. I love their salads and sandwiches so much.

service was great and so was the good ...will return soon . Love there rewards program as well.

great food, cashier was fast and the ambiance was casual. I thought the tea was very sweet in a good way.

I love using Newk's online order app. I put my order in. Walk in to restaurant and enter in table number. There is no waiting in line. They bring your food to you in a matter of minutes plus you earn points for using app. I love their pick a pair...half salad and small pizza. I usually eat half pizza and save the rest for later. Tastes really good reheated. Pepperoni is a thin cut. Fresh tomato and basil just adds to the flavor. read more

Every time I have ever asked anyone about this place they always say I had their food and catering. They must be a monster in the catering world. Every time I pass them by I've said I'm going to try them one day. So after 3 hours of watching Oppenheimer we decided to finally visit. Side note... You have to really be a history buff to appreciate oppenheimer. I've heard everyone say how it was a great movie. They could have kept the first hour. It led nothing to the actual story in my opinion. But as I figured this is a place that specializes in sandwiches and salads. They have some versatility which leaves me curious. Curiosity always brings me back to a place. So I will be back. But I have to agree with most people I've heard. They are kind of basic. Not a lot of flavor in the food or anything different. Which are the things I am always looking for. The pieces are not that good. Lacking a lot of flavor. If I was in the area and just wanted to stop to get a bite to eat I would probably revisit. But it was pretty typical. read more

I ordered off the menu: Mac & cheese and side of soup. I was served the reverse of that and it wasn't on the menu (large soup, small Mac). I asked for a remedy and was curtly declined by the runner and the cashier. What a stupid way to loose a customer. Your food is sitting on the table. Untouched. read more

Really disappointed with the portions came by last year and had the same thing and the portions were definitely a lot bigger. This time the portions were way smaller like the Italian sandwich definitely not worth the price. read more
