Delicious food at an unbeatable price! Hubs and I split several dawgs and an appetizer as our meal, and my mom got the Hawaiian burger. All delicious! Our server was also great. Meal was $50 for a ton of food!

Heard about this place and rave of good burgers and hot dogs. Lots of parking available. Upon entry it was somewhat dark due to the tinted glass. Lots of space and dawned in sports memorabilia. I waited for 7-10 minutes before being able to place an order. After that food took maybe 15 minutes to come out. Waiting close to 30 minutes was a let down for sure. It wasn't super busy but the servers were running around. I think it's better to call in ahead of time. Overall the burger was flavorful and steaming hot. Food prices are a little high for a burger and fry but you are paying for labor and service. Would return

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Atmosphere is ok, they offered to order off of the menu or the buffet. Looked at buffet, very basic with only a couple items and they all looked they been sitting there for a while. We ordered burgers and fries. Our waitress was really nice and polite. Order did come out quick, like in 5 min, which tells me things were not freshly made. Burgers looked and tasted good, give them a 6. Fries were not fresh and tasted like they have been under a heating lamp for too long, give them a 2. Would try this place again, just not on a Sunday.

Simple and delicious with great staff willing to make you feel welcomed the whole time you're here. Highly recommend with a relaxed casual meal out of the house.

Terrible food terrible service will not even recommend to my dog. Waitress had me waiting for an hour for cold hotdogs and fries. What a waste! I'm a sucker for a good hotdog so of course when I stop at That's My Dawg I'm just Know I'm gonna get a good dawg... long story short NO. Instead of getting a savory meal I waited an hour just for trash and that's not even the crazy part No, the waitress forgot about so I had to get up and go to the bar to order BAD SERVICE!!

The place is always buzzing, and it's immediately obvious that many of the customers are regulars. There are no menus here. Instead, the waitress hands you a notepad and tells you to write down whatever you want. Not sure what to order? Wanda was happy to point us toward favorites like the blueberry pancakes and corned beef hash. The whole experience is refreshingly simple and surprisingly charming. Speaking of Wanda, she treated everyone like old friends stopping by for breakfast. Another employee wandered through the dining room chatting with customers and checking on folks like she had known them for years. Whether she actually knew everyone or just made it feel that way remains one of Howard's great mysteries. We ordered a mix of blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious, but the blueberry pancakes stole the show. The biscuits and gravy arrived on a plate that appeared to have surrendered completely to the gravy. If you leave hungry, that's probably a personal choice. One of the most entertaining parts of the experience is the honor system. Since you write down your own order, you'd better remember what you asked for when the food arrives and again when it's time to pay. No cheating. The open kitchen lets you watch the cooks at work, and the entire place feels like a gathering spot as much as a restaurant. The downside is that it gets crowded. You may have to wait for a table, and sharing a table with strangers isn't out of the question. If you're looking for white tablecloths, printed menus, and a polished dining experience, keep driving. If you're looking for good food, friendly people, local gossip, and a breakfast experience that feels like a community event, Howard's is exactly where you want to be. PS, bring cash because that's all they take. But there is an ATM in the building if you forget!

We recently hosted our daughter's First Communion celebration at Ophelia's Wines & Bites, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. Throughout the planning process, numerous promises were made regarding setup assistance, décor, staffing, food portions, beverage service, and overall event coordination that were either not followed through on or changed entirely by the day of the event. Family members and guests ended up handling many tasks that we were told would already be completed, including decorating, organizing tables, lighting candles, and addressing missing items while guests were arriving. Food portions were much smaller than represented during the tasting, several items we expected to be included were charged separately, beverage service was poorly managed, and there was little to no actual table service despite paying for what was presented as an "all-inclusive" event experience. Most upsetting was the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability afterward. We spent a significant amount of money expecting professionalism and hospitality, but left feeling stressed, embarrassed, and taken advantage of during what should have been a very special day for our daughter. I am sharing this simply so others thoroughly clarify ALL expectations, pricing, staffing, setup responsibilities, food quantities, and service details in writing before booking an event there.

The atmosphere is charming, and the space itself appeared clean, but the place was completely empty during our visit, which surprised us. I ordered a Lambrusco from the sparkling section of the menu and expected something bubbly, but what came out was a still red wine. Everyone at the table was a little confused by that. Thankfully it still tasted good, so I kept it -- just not what I thought I ordered. For food, I had the crostini, which tasted good, but for the price I expected larger portions rather than very thin slivers of toasted bread with cheese and fruit. We also ordered the s'mores, which were fun and tasty, but again didn't quite feel worth the cost. A few more strawberries or a way to toast the marshmallows would've elevated it. The service was truly great, though. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive, and checked on us often. She was definitely the highlight of the visit. The only real downside was seeing a few roaches on the wall. I know it's the South and it happens, but it's still not ideal in a dining setting, even in a place that otherwise seemed clean. Overall, Ophelia's has so much charm and potential, and with a few improvements -- clearer menu descriptions, portion adjustments, and addressing the pest issue -- it could be a wonderful go-to spot.
