Help did not engage. The place is filthy. Will not be back. Live in the area will visit Subway next time. The franchise owner is the problem. I have run businesses that needed to be adjusted. Your employees will give you what you expect from them. read more

It was name day at Firehouse and I have such a common name, but I didn't think it would be my time! I t was just my luck that I got chosen for such an amazing sub! Lunch was in Firehouse this day! My favorite sub is the Jamaican jerk and I add banana peppers for a little razzle dazzle! It's always pretty busy around lunch time but the service is always great! read more

I visited today and ordered the Italian. The sandwich was disappointing because the toppings such as the meat, onions, and tomatoes were applied in such a stingy manner. I know inflation is real and food costs are high but when a customer pays for a sandwich they expect more than a sub roll with a few skimpy pieces of deli meat. Luckily my sub was free due to my rewards points but honestly, I may not return any time soon due to their skimpy ingredients. In all fairness, I tried the meatball sub a couple of months ago and it was really packed full of meatballs and very well made. read more

Got a medium and a large sub combo, almost $40 dollars! Since when did it get this expensive to get a sub? After paying for the combo, every soft drink besides 2 diet options were out. We told the cashier and she said she will try and fix it. She was at the machine for 30 seconds and then came back behind the counter to mess around with another employee. They were cussing and horsing around. I understand if the machine is down, but just change the syrups? I don't know, I just feel that if you are spending almost $40 on two subs, you should get what you pay for. Also, the floors are dirty with food crumbs all over them. Waited 15 minutes for our food. read more

I got an Italian Sub here and it was disgusting . It was not a good tasting sub, it came very warm and has a weird taste to it.

DD delivery: The food was good; actually the best engineer I have ever had in years. Normally I don't see/taste the cheese. For the first time I did; so kudo's to the person making things right. What pisses me off is not getting the expensive brownie for my child. This is why I hate 3rd party services. I know it is probably the restaurants fault for not double checking the order (Former F&B and#1 pet peeve), but with a 3rd party; the blame game is rampant. Just restart restaurants in house delivery. read more

First timer so we asked they gentleman behind the counter, not the owner but the young fellow, I said which is the best and he replied "they are all good" and proceeded to give me an explanation of a few but then he said he liked the Cajun Chicken better. So instead of ordering two "under 6" we decided for the Big one and went 50-50 Delicious choice and remind me of her turkey, she agrees it is close even the flavor of the specialty pepper she uses, amazing. We will come back and next time we will order some kind of combo without the cookie. Not sure about the donation, she asked me and I said no but she still rounded up, I hope it goes to some good cause. Much better than yesterday's lunch and more bang for the buck. I ordered the steak and cheese sub, and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, they sliced the bread completely through and it became a mess while trying to eat it. When you take a bite down the innards keep trying to escape from the opposite side. I would suggest to them not to cut the bread all the way through. Although the sub cost $20.80, the delivery free of $4.99, service fee of $3.12, tip of $4.37 that they added increase the cost by an additional 60%; And, when you add in the $3.39 for tax the bill swells to 76% of the base line order. A question what to delivery, service and tip go to. The delivery fee makes sense. The service fee is for what? And does the tip go to the GrubHub driver? read more

They only get a 1 because I can't leave "0"! The food was good but the service was slow and well let me tell you about the "place". It's the first time we've eaten here since before the pandemic and let me tell you, you need to just order from the window and eat in your vehicle. The floors were so nasty my shoes were sticking to them. I had to clean off my own table and chairs! What does this tell you! They were standing around talking instead cleaning when there were no customers. The sign outside asks for help wanted! Lock the door people and make it a drive up only!! establishment!! Dead to me! read more

I came for lunch. I ordered the Engineer...my favorite with no raw onions but I like them sautéed. Mrs. Patsy at the front was a total sweetheart and took customers one by one as they came. She handled it pretty well and was a delight. I'd come back for lunch. The quality is always good and the customer service is top notch. Thanks Firehouse! read more

Free chips and drinks for you and your family..... Only if you're the off duty manager, that is what I witnessed during my last visit. I enjoyed my food and service provided, I was disappointed to see someone who the staff clearly knew walk to the register, pull multiple "water" cups that were then filled with soda from the Coke machine and her and the kids grab bags of chips on the way out without paying. Have the staff do it, put them in bags and don't make it so obvious. I won't return, I'll shop other sandwich shops in the surrounding area and hold staff to higher ethical standards. read more

I was very disappointed in the customer service they were being very rude and cussing me out because I came in 30 minutes before they close . The New York steamer is my go to!!!! The bread is so soft and the flavors are amazing. I've tried the brisket and it was good. Kind of hit or miss depending on what you get. My boyfriend didn't care for the Philly or the Italian. Be ok with waiting for a little, it's usually busy and takes a while since they're steamed. Also runs a little pricy! read more

I witnessed a lot going on here when I made my visit over the weekend, it was on Sunday afternoon. My family and I went for lunch. There was at least seven people working and one person at the register. Crystal, which I assumed is the manager was there, and she was very vocal with attitude talking about customers and a phone call she took while we ordered at the register. It was a bit unprofessional. While we were eating, a woman came in, I assume she worked there but was not on shift. She brought in several children, two at a time. Each time the kids each got drinks and a bag of chips, but they were not being purchased. We had to wait a good fifteen minutes for our order, not sure why being that there was so many people working. The food was good and the two girls that came by to check on us and offer help were great. I just did not get the names. It seemed like the place was a bit drama filled and there was a lot going on but what was needed to be going on. read more

10-16-19 Hi, Come on, what's up with Firehouse preparation; Very disappointing again, which we really enjoyed there food before. But the last 3 x's we ate there (including today) has been very disappointing. Worse sandwich ever today. I had the club, it looked like it was toasted on one side, I asked for no lettuce (digested problems). It had a lot of lettuce, little cheese, very soggy on bottom. My husband's sandwich was very disappointing as well. Is this the new Firehouse foods. I hope not, we really like eating here. But, I guess if next time it's bad, will have to stop eating there. Hi, We love Friehouse Sub & we have not eaten at any other sub restaurant since we ate there. We usually get great food. I would not say anything but the last two times has not been up to doing it right or having fresh. Last time-the bread was old-which Firehouse Subs has great bread. Had to put it in the microwave to get it softer. Today's visit; Both sandwiches-Again the bread was not fresh on either sandwiches. We wanted gutted but we have never had to tell them how we want the bread, but this time we did. My sandwich-also had lettuce (including the core), which I asked to hold it. I have digestive problems & can not eat it. (I did not tell them that, but I shouldn't have to explain why I don't want lettuce). My husband sandwich they left off the cheese. I'm only saying something because it has been 2 times in a roll. Maybe, they need more training. Will still eat there but I'm hoping things it back like they used to. read more

Fantastic Customer Service!!! We arrived at 9 pm, didn't know they closed at 9. The staff was friendly and took our order. We didn't realize they were closing until we had ordered, however, the staff never mentioned it, no eye rolling, no sighing...just service with a smile and thanked us for coming. The sandwiches were excellent too! We are so happy that Firehouse Subs has come to Summerville. No more driving the North Charleston when we crave our subs!! Thank you for the service with a smile!! read more

I put in a mobile order and it said it would take 30 minutes. I came and sat inside and watched them make sandwiches. I knew to pick mine up from rapid pick up. There was a sandwich that was made while I was waiting and just left at the counter. 30 minutes later when my name was called guess which sandwich was mine! The one that had been ready over 20 minutes ago. This could have been avoided if they had put it on the rapid pick up rack. So even though I came in and waited, I still get a soggy cold sandwich that I paid $15 for. I'm a very understanding person, but I don't understand why they couldn't have just put this sandwich on the rack with the rest of the rapid pick ups so that I could have at least seen it was done and went about my merry way. read more

I went there for a simple sandwich and they smothered it in Mayo after reading back to me that I didn't want Mayo on it. And they were rude and unprofessional behind the counter, so many people coming in and out and they were all talking and not helping. read more

If you're going to utilize delivery apps like doordash and uber eats, you need to make sure you treat those customers equally to those that come in. I ordered a simple 2 sandwich order at 8:08pm on a Monday night and was informed at 9:22pm by the delivery company thaty order had been cancelled. I ran a place that used doordash and uber eats and I know for a fact that you have to acknowledge the order and actually physically cancel it. You close at 9pm...almost a full hour before you close, and you mean to tell me that you couldn't make 2 simple sandwiches in that 58 minutes? then you had the audacity to wait untill 9:22pm to actually cancel the order? All this can be is pure laziness and disregard for your customers because if you did it to me then I can garentee you've done to a number of other customers. I won't be giving your garbage company another single dime of my money. read more

Extremely slow service time. One of our orders was totally botched and the amount of time spent waiting for our food was insane. Do not recommend. read more

The food was delicious however the service was very mediocre. I ordered from Uber eats and asked for the meatballs on the fire house meatball sub to be cut in half. I know that sounds insane however, I ordered the sandwich for my father who is currently going through chemotherapy and radiation and it is easier for him to eat the sandwich if The meatballs are cut in half. The food was delicious I ate the other half of the sandwich but I really wish I did not have to tear my fathers sandwich apart in order to make it easier for him to eat. Thank you Firehouse. :) read more

This is so much better than other sub places. The restaurant was clean and a great atmosphere. Staff was superb. They greeted us and were very upbeat and polite. One of them even came outside (great outside seating btw) to make sure i didn't burn my mouth on the Mac and Cheese! The sandwich was very tasty probably due to the fact that it wasn't bun-heavy. It was just the right amount of food. I loved that I could choose a side item other than chips. I love chips but always feel guilty eating them. They have the drink machine where you can choose every flavor under the sun...even flavored water. We will definitely return! read more

Decent quality food, though I find prices to be a bit on the high side in comparison with their competitors. My biggest complaint and the reason I don't go to Firehouse locations in general on a more frequent basis is their bread, which I do not like at all. To me, bread is the single most important part of a sandwich and Firehouse's lacks flavor and character - It's just blase. This location is clean, modern, and pretty clean. Service is always friendly as well. read more

This is a great sandwich shop with a great variety. They are located in a great shopping center and there is plenty of parking nearby. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. They offer you great rewards and you get a free medium sandwich on your birthday! That's a win in my book! read more

Firehouse is my favorite place to go for sandwiches. Normally there is a good portion of meet and great tasting. On this day however there was a lot more bread than meat. Also, something was missing as far as taste goes with my sub and I am unable to figure out what it was. I get the same thing every time, the hook and ladder. Can't put my hand on it, but something was off outside the amount of meat. The older lady that works there has a great attitude and customer service (wish I got her name). One of my coworkers had an issue with her food, she came and apologized to her and talked to her about it although she wasn't the person that rang up the order. She rang my order up and was very polite . Many companies do not focus on customer service as much as they should nowadays but that was a big plus. Food was a 3 but with her the rating bump up to a four. read more
