If I could give zero stars I would. We just went there (today is Sunday) and we tried to order at 5:30 PM. As soon as we came up to the window we were told they were closed. We walked away only to see the employee take the order of the lady behind us. I proceeded to check their hours online and it said that they close at 6?! I was very upset and hurt. This has never happened before. The only difference this time was I was with my mother and sister whom both wear the hijab.... I ordered via delivery service a California Philly with everything but lettuce and ranch dressing. When I received my order it was missing several toppings. A drink and some cheese sticks. They ask if you want a combo but charge you full price on side and drink. So really not a combo. Most places offer a slight discount on combos. The sandwich and cheese stick were cold upon delivery and did not receive the drink I ordered. Was told I did not order a drink but clearly on the receipt it say drink. Decent fast food cheesesteak place located in the Citadel Mall food court. Obviously not the greatest cheesesteak you're ever going to have, but it's serviceable. Their daily special small chicken Philly and fries is $7.49. Adding a drink brings the meal to $10. My food was ready within 3-5 minutes. The Philly had pretty good flavor and fillings. The fries were larger cut and just your average fries. Plenty of seating in the food court area. Charley's is one of five food options in the court. read more

Only $7.49 for the sandwhich and fries! The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The food was tasty. The cheesestakes are so good it makes you want the other half! I just had my first interaction with a Charley's Chicken Philly, and it left me wishing that I had done this sooner. This sandwich was super good and flavorful, yet very simple. Chicken, white cheese, and ranch dressing on a sub roll sliced in to four bite sized pieces for easy handling. Excellent flavor profile and it all went down so smoothly. Charleys Philly Steak at Citadel Mall in West Ashley is one of my favorite fast food options in the area. I like the different varieties of different sandwiches and fries that they have available to choose from and when you put them together it is really good. They are pretty quick and efficient at getting your order ready and cook everything right in front of you which is cool to watch and wait for. We ordered delivery from here not sure what to expect but the food was delivered to our hotel 15 minutes earlier than they had originally estimated it would arrive. We ordered 2 regular length sandwiches, one Philly Cheese Steak, one Old School Philly Cheesesteak along with an order of Cheese and Bacon Fries. The food arrived hot and well packaged. When we bit into the fries we were in heaven! They were wonderful. After that we were afraid the sandwiches would disappoint but they did not! They were juicy and tender with cheese oozing out with each bite. We will definitely order from them again when in Charleston! read more

Always a sucker for Charleys samples in the mall, I occasionally break down and get the Chicken California. It is simple -- just seasoned chicken and ranch on a roll -- but pretty darn tasty. I tried Charley's in the mall today because I had a coupon from the mall for a free meal in the food court. I figured a sandwich would be a quick and easy option, and Charley's had some tasty offerings. They also have gourmet fries, like chili cheese fries, if you're into that, as a side dish instead of the usual chips, and they have flavored lemonades. There's also a worker giving out free samples of a chicken sub, and every time I've ever been to the mall, they give out samples. The worker who gives out the samples was the most personable employee I encountered. Unfortunately, I really can't rate Charley's highly because they messed up my order. I ordered a philly veggie with no mushrooms to-go. Even the receipt said no mushrooms where I placed the order. Of course, it's a sandwich and I didn't check my order, so I got home and the sandwich had mushrooms on it! At least they didn't somehow sneak meat in the veggie sub, I guess. I can give them that much. I'll probably try another food court option next time. read more

Coming from pa I love cheesesteaks but they aren't nearly as good anywhere I go down here, but I love the different types Charley's has to offer, they currently have a triple bacon one and I mean how can you go wrong? It's delicious and their fries are nice and fat and they load on any of the toppings you'd like. I like that they cook it right in front of you and its always done quickly only down side is it seems numerous times I've went their credit card machine wasn't working over it's a great quick lunch read more

(6/12/16 - 1755) I'm not the biggest fan of Philly Cheese Steaks, but having had their Triple Cheddar Bacon meal, I can say I really enjoyed it! I had not chosen Charley's as my first pick. I had attempted to go to the SUBWAY in the same food court, but was turned away because it was ten minutes to closing time (absolute horrible customer service). I just wanted to thank the guys at Charley's for sticking around until closing time and making my meal. It was delicious, and I really appreciate the superior customer service.
