It tasted stale and was more a cake like texture. We both had the same bacon & tomato omelet with home fries. My husbands omelet was not completely cooked through and had runny egg pour out once he cut into it. The home fries were overcooked, some were hard, chewy and really flavorless. I suspect they were recooked. We did not bother mentioning any of this to the hostess/server as she was oblivous to giving good service. Though she did refill our coffee. My husband and I are vegan and the reason I cannot give 5 stars to this business is there are no readily available vegan options on the menu. It is a good spot for vegetarians, but the menu is lacking dairy free/egg free options without meat. When we spoke to the employees taking orders about what we could eat as vegans, I appreciate how patient and creative they were to come up with a solution. We ended up ordering a pizza with no cheese and all the available vegetable toppings. The pizza did look beautiful. I thought the presentation was lovely. The best part of the pizza was the crust. I am a sucker for a wood fired crust. The toppings did not taste great. The flavors were a little too acidic for my preference.
