Super delicious. Consistently good every time I've been here. The service is fast and it's got a cute little New Jersey deli vibe.

I initially was going to settle for subway or Jersey Mike's but wanted to try a local deli. I'm so glad that I did. While waiting, I noticed a ton of people going in and out of the establishment and others sitting outside eating. That was a good sign. We went in to pick up the sub and everyone was so nice. Its small in the inside but it's the right amount of room to get what you need. The ladies and gentlemen were all smiles and all eager to answer any questions that I had. I wanted to show as much support as possible so I grabbed dessert. Everything about the Italian sub was delicious. I don't regret coming here and will come again. I've been dying to come check out Rinaldi's, but with their hour and being up in Summerville, I hadn't made the trip yet. That will definitely change from here on out. I would drive an hour for these sandwiches if I had to. Growing up in boston, I miss the sandwich shops and have a hard time finding the same style of sandwiches in the south. If you're in the same boat, Rinaldi's will solve all your problems. Knowing that it took us this long just to get there for the first time, we both ordered two sandwiches so we could try as much as possible. The four we got were sausage and peppers, chicken parm, steak and cheese, and a meatball. I would have a hard time not ordering all of these again. We took everything to go and even reheating them they were perfect. We also had some cannolis that were excellent and stuffed with ricotta filling. What we didn't realize was that the sides we ordered were supposed to be grabbed by us from the case because we thought they were in the box they gave us with everything else so we missed out on the sides. An awesome CT style deli! Yes, CT style delis are essentially the same as Arthur Avenue/New York style delis if you grew up in Fairfield County like I did. This deli was originally located in Greenwich, CT and as close to "home" as I can get. We were happy to make the trek to Summerville for a delicious chicken parm sub. This place was no frills, which is what I expected, but the price was on point. $13 and change for a hero. The sauce, cheese and chicken were authentic, Italian style. I'm always on the lookout for a great deli and this one is right in my ballpark. It's a small deli and I did a takeout order. I got there right at noon and it started to get really busy after I got done ordering. I got the Reuben for my husband and the BLT for myself. We took them home and ate them and they were both delicious. My husband has been looking for a really good Reuben sandwich in the area and this one is at the top of the list for deliciousness. Cute little deli. Easy to get to with lots of parking. Seating for about a dozen inside with additional outside tables. Quick, friendly, efficient cashier took order. Gave a discount for paying in cash. I ordered cold Italian on roll. The Kaiser roll was delicious and they have them delivered from a bakery in NY. As a New Yorker I definitely miss my neighborhood deli. I saw this place as a recommendation on Facebook and saved it in my back pocket for when I had a day off as they close earlier. When I went in even though it wasn't time (lunch) for the hot heros they were willing to make me one. And I was so grateful. I had the chicken sandwhich with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It tasted exactly like I needed it to!! I also picked up a rainbow bagel - the best rainbow bagels aren't just dyed but have a distinct flavor- this was definitely that. And lastly, I got the rainbow cake because I have been craving rainbow cookies and like with everything else it hit the spot. Food is pretty good.... 2 star is for bad service. They made an honest mistake and misheard one item in my $90 order. Noticed on the way back home one of the sandwiches was wrong. I brought the incorrect sandwich back just 2 minutes. All I said was hey this was the wrong sandwich and Jess response was "that's what you said on the phone". So I correctly ordered 7 other items but this one was wrong. Politely let her know she must have misheard and she then tells me sandwiches aren't free so if you want the correct one you have to pay. Automatically blaming the customer for a mistake you made is not the best idea. Paid for the correct sandwich and won't be coming back. Unfortunate since the food was good. Next time you order make sure the staff doesn't make a mistake or you will be paying for it. read more

I read the owners are from Greenwich, CT area. We stopped in there this morning and got bacon, egg and cheese and pork roll (Jersey Boy). The Jersey Boy was a constant call out to the cook from ALL call in orders while we were there. So that sealed the decision for me. Both sandwiches were massive and both sandwiches were delicious. I could live the rest of my life eating sandwiches, and this place is probably where I'd supply said sandwiches. After sweating my life away at Crunch fitness next door, we walked on over to grab some post workout fuel and oh my goodness. 10/10 recommend visiting!! Boyfriend, roommate, and I each got a different sandwich and each were equally as tasty. Mine was the UConn and the pesto on it was just chefs kiss. Boyfriend got a chicken parm sandwich and the sauce wasn't acidic at ALL, which usually we're a little weary about. Rinaldi's is a real one, having moved down from the NY area 10 years ago, I haven't had an authentic NY style breakfast sandwich down in the Charleston area, until today. What made it great? For starters the roll it was on had the perfect texture and taste. The eggs were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. It had the right proportion of cheese, the sausage patty was perfectly cooked and tasted great, and the right amount ketchup, salt, and pepper to tie it all together.
