We had two orders of eggs Benedict, a side of biscuits and gravy and a blackened salmon wrap. The eggs Benedict had the best hollandaise I think I have ever had. The biscuits and gravy had 2 soft, fluffy biscuits and incredible gravy. My husband had the salmon wrap and he ended up with a very clean plate. Once again, Yelp reviews helped us to choose Lost Dog Cafe! We visited at 9:30 am on a Thursday and we did not wait long for 9 adults and a child table! They were very helpful to pull tables together. In the meantime, we viewed the rainbow bridge and walked around the grassy area next to the restaurant. After our grand dog lost his battle to a brain tumor just a few weeks ago, we all had special thoughts on this bridge! Our fur babies have left paw prints on our hearts! Inside, there are so many pictures if beautiful dogs! We all ordered different beverages, Bloody Mary was the most popular and enjoyed by all! I had an iced chai tea and there was the perfect amount of cinnamon and nutmeg on top! I also ordered a southern BLT! Lost Dog is a sweet little cafe. We stopped in for a late breakfast and sat outside on the side patio. It was cozy, charming and very comfortable. Plants and flowers all around really made our meal special. Our server was a nice young guy. He wasn't super personable but still very helpful. I enjoyed a simple egg sandwich that was so tasty. This is a fun restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. The Dog Theme is very well done with the decor and menu items. Our group had chicken quesadilla, Rosa chicken salad which was served with potato chips, southern BLT served with cucumber salad, and one of the daily specials called the Philly Kid. Yes, this is my THIRD review for this spot but honestly, they deserve all the praise they can raise, and they do raise it! Came here on an unseasonably hot Saturday. The wait was about 30 minutes. Had high expectations given the long wait. Unfortunately, the food was a let down. It was average to below average. The fruit parfait was good, with tons of fruits. The breakfast burrito was not good with overcooked peppers and extremely bland. The southern BLT was also disappointing with soggy fried green tomato (the crust fell off as soon as you bit into it). Delicious! This was a stop on our first trip to Folly Beach since it has indoor seating and the rain started to fall. I apologize for the lack of pictures... it's because we devoured the food. We got here a little after 9 and the inside was completely full so we sat outside on the deck which was nice! When we were on our way out there was a line out the door and numerous parties waiting. I ordered a coffee and the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. I felt that the prices were reasonable but you'll see on the menu they up charge for just about everything ($2 to split the plate, fee for bagging items to go, adding protein, etc).
