The bar is a nice place to come and enjoy live music. They had a $3 mimosa special on Sundays as well as $6 micheladas! The place is dimly lit but fits the vibes with colored LED lights hanging around and plenty of decor. Service was great as well they made sure we were good on drinks plenty of times. read more

Our daughter, son in law and son where there last night and the DJ actually said to her the he hate JEWS! She went to the bartender to let him know and he dismissed her comments. I was not personally present, but someone I care about was, and what they experienced is deeply disappointing and troubling. On the night of 12/27/2025, were at your establishment when the DJ on duty, Grant Duffy, told one of the women he was speaking with that he "hates Jews." This statement was made casually and without provocation. At first, she thought it might be a misguided joke, but it quickly became clear it was not. They were shocked and uncomfortable enough that they chose to leave. When the incident was brought to the bartender's attention, it was dismissed rather than addressed with concern or seriousness. Antisemitism, whether expressed "jokingly" or not, has no place in any public space, let alone one centered on hospitality and customer service. What makes this especially disappointing is not just the comment itself, but the lack of response when it was reported. Management should be aware of who they are employing and what is being said to patrons. If someone feels comfortable expressing hatred toward an entire group of people while on the job, that raises serious questions about oversight, accountability, and values. I hope this is taken seriously and addressed appropriately, because no one should feel unwelcome, targeted, or unsafe in a place meant to be enjoyed by all. read more

This place might be my new favorite Monday night hangout. Once you find the right alley to walk down, it's in a great location with a cute little vibe inside. It's a bit on the smaller side, so I'd be interested to see what it looks like on the weekend. The bartenders were super friendly and gave me a lot of advice on places to go since I just moved here. I ordered the Strawberry Kisses cocktail, and it was really good - on the sweeter side (which I like) and refreshing. The perfect summer cocktail. They had a lot of other cocktails to choose from, and they all looked great. Definitely recommend going for the cocktails and good convo with the bartenders! This is a cool little spot located down an alleyway in downtown Wilmington. You definitely need to look for it a little bit but it's worth checking out. Interior is very dark even on a sunny afternoon. Be prepared to throw on the sunglasses before you walk back outside. Did not eat just had a couple cocktails. This is a cool spot that opened across from Blue Post. What a fun conglomerate of people there! They sell every spirit but the safest bet is bottle beer. The cocktails are weak! They were playing jazz when we got there and Kanye when we left so that was cool! There are plenty of places to sit and they have one of the biggest TVs I've ever seen in a place. read more

Really cool new spot in Wilmington. The environment was a tad bit confusing but in the best engaging way. There was tons of Edison bulbs and almost a steam punk feel while also looking like a garage with bikes hanging from the ceiling. There is also a Grecian flare with busts and an Ivey wall. At every corner there is something to look at. Other than looks the place had amazing tasting drinks that had some flair while also giving a local feel. When we came there was ample seating but as it got later the place turned into more of a typical bar. (I mean I do expect that with it being beside Blue Post.) i am a regular at the ivey and everytime i've been there i have had a great time. HOWEVER, last night i had one of the worst experiences i have ever had on a night out. my friends and i were sitting at the bar enjoying our drinks and the music when we noticed a group of people consistently pointing at us and what looked to be speaking about us. so, i calmly went over there and asked what was going on. this group consistently called me GAYden instead of caden, my name. funny joke sure, but when the bartenders also started calling me that, it was too far. i walked away and left it alone after what i felt was homophobia at its finest. HOWEVER, an off duty bartender at the ivey approached me and told me if i go on that side of the bar again me and my "gay friends" have to leave. i again calmy tried to get the working bartenders attention, who then seemed to ignore us the rest of the evening. i am sad to write a bad review for the ivey, but places like this in wilmington need to be called out!! justin is the only good thing about the ivey now. #iveyhatesgaypeople read more

Our almost entire wedding party and guest count ascended into this bar on a Sunday night. They were not expecting 50 people, in February, to walk in... but we did. Justin and Haiden were great! We had excellent service, a fun time in a clean environment. We were all ages from 21-75 and everyone had a blast! I will have to visit this bar again when we return to Wilmington. SUPER cute bar with great cocktails, the specialty Poison Ivey drink was very refreshing!! I loved watching monsters inc while we were there! I haven't been to a bar where they've shown movies before!! :) They also have a modern jukebox where customers can choose the songs so that is fun! The Ivey is a newer spot here in downtown Wilmington, right across the alley from Blue Post. They have all sorts of cocktails, beers, and drink specials to offer. The other nice thing is they are open every single day, so if you are trying to explore during the week and miss some of the crowds in downtown Wilmington, this is a great place to drop in. My personal favorite beverage there is the Strawberry kisses which includes vodka, strawberries, and club soda and is truly divine. They also have mocktails to choose from if you are a DD and still want to feel like part of the group. The decor inside is super cute, with various bikes hanging from the ceiling and cool artwork throughout. In the center is a giant bar with seats around it. It is a smaller location, but I have never not been able to find a place to sit. They do also host bachelorette parties so if that is something you are in town for, I would definitely check them out! read more

Last night I was in this bar and my fiancé ordered three drinks at last call. She had just graduated from UNCW with her second degree and we were out with friends. She hands me my drink, I turn around to continue a conversation and not a minute later I turn for my drink and it is not there. I signal a bartender wearing a backwards hat with a dark beard and I ask to speak with him. When I asked if he had taken my drink he said no and that it is 2am so my group and I had to leave. I tell him the situation about my disappearing drink and he tells me he has no idea what happened and tells me for the second time that our group has to leave because it's after 2am. Which is not the case in NC, I understand you can't sell me alcohol after 2am but if we get drinks before then, we have till 2:30 to drink them. Anyways, I press him again and he finally admits that he was throwing away trash and that he threw my drink away. I pointed out there was 4 empty glasses and two empty cans right next to me and asked why my full drink was the only one out of those he threw out. My question and reasoning sent this guy in a place of violence so quick it was like turning on a light switch. He ends up taunting me like a 5th grader on a playground as I walk out with the bouncer. At this point I am shook at how this situation is being handled by the staff that I start mouthing off as this bartender is just child-like name calling like it's his actual job. As I'm walking out the door I hear an FU from the bartender and the bouncer with a nose ring tosses me out the front door onto the pavement. Oh it gets better. Our group then approaches the police and we get a hold of Officer Dove. We tell this officer about the situation and how we would like to press charges. He told us that we have to take it up with management to raise a complaint. Of course when we go to the bar no one there claims management is there, Officer Dove doesn't give us any names of the staff and tells us to go home. He literally said that he was taking the word of the humans that worked their over mine and that's why he wasn't going to help me out. I had 5 drinks from 10-2am last night I'm 29 years old. I was fully coherent for all of this and it sucks that you don't even have help when you've been assaulted. Obviously this place has a lack of responsibility if you're hiring people like this. I just wanted a simple apology, didn't need to be lied to and then tossed out of the bar. All in all, don't go to this place after midnight, seems as though staff is over worked, can't handle their emotions because of it, and stand as tall as they can on the little hill of power they have behind a bar. read more
