Zero regrets. The Plot's vegan brunch is everything I want in a weekend meal: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without that post-brunch food coma. I leave feeling amazing, not weighed down, and somehow they pull it off without sacrificing an ounce of flavor. Everything tastes like it was made with actual care (and a little bit of magic). It's honestly one of my favorite brunch spots in Orange County. If you're someone who loves food that's both delicious and good for you, this place will hit every mark. ----------------- :( just saw they're permanently closed, so sad

I loveeee the Oceanside location so I was so happy when this location opened! Every dish is so extraordinary with so much thought put into every aspect of the plate. They use such amazing fresh ingredients & flavors that I never knew would pair well together. I've always had such great service no matter who it is working! Everyone is so kind and welcoming and makes the experience that much better. I also really like the location of this one. The Camp is such a cool spot, and it's interesting that the restaurant is shaped as a circle. The patio seating is so cute and cozy, I love the table with the fire pit on it. It's also dog friendly!! Please go and support! I love this restaurant and want to see it flourish

Came here on a weeknight for dinner and it was not busy. There are a lot of tables inside with a stage towards the front for live music. The space is light on decor with exception of the walls which had images of lion dancers and other things. Food is ordered at the front and brought to the table when ready. We got the Crispy Oyster Mushrooms and the Eggplant Tofu. The Crispy Oyster Mushrooms came in a portion size that was larger than we expected. They tasted like the Salt and Pepper Squid dish that my family gets from Chinese restaurants which we really like. However, the breading was heavy and a lot of the pieces at the bottom were oily. The Eggplant Tofu was solid. Both the Eggplant and tofu were cooked well and had a nice savory sauce. This dish came with rice on the side. Overall, giving Vegan District Asian Eatery a 4/5. The space is clean and spacious and the staff are nice. The flavors of the food are good. Would recommend to anyone looking for vegan Asian food and would come back to try other things on the menu.

Apparently the tamales are the most popular but we found them to be a little dry. The cactus in green salsa one was particularly dry and unflavorful. At least the masa was a little less dry in the jalapeno with cheese. I think the cheese helped with that. We enjoyed the tacos much more. The corn tortilla was delicious and both fillings were so yummy! We would get these again and try more flavors but probably skip the tamales next time. Plenty of seating in the food court with outdoor shaded seating too.

The line was out the door throughout the day but they seemed very efficient. You grab a menu at the entrance and stand in line to order before you claim a table. They have a lot of food and beverage options. I ordered the Belgian waffle with the açaí sorbet. The waffle was cooked nicely and the fruit was fresh. The açaí sorbet was placed on top of the waffle which caused the waffle to get soft and soggy pretty quickly especially on a hot summer day. After a while the plate became a melty mess which made it less enjoyable. The water stations are a nice touch, but a couple of them were only filled with ice and the dispensers propped up above a puddle of water. At least one of them seemed to have a leak. They have two restrooms that are available for customers- expect a long wait time. The restrooms need more attention and maintenance especially during high-traffic times. The staff cleaning and clearing the tables were friendly and efficient. They were fast at bussing tables and getting them ready for the next guests. They also swept the outdoor seating area frequently which helped keep the seagulls at bay.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though the indoor dining area is on the smaller side. The bar area is even more intimate, with only a few two-person tables and has a much darker, moodier atmosphere compared to the bright feel of the main dining room. I tried the Blueberry Scone ($5), Bacon Onion White Pizza ($20), and Truffle Mushroom Burger ($25). Unfortunately, the scone was the biggest disappointment as it was quite dry and I wasn't a fan of the walnuts. The pizza and burger, however, were both solid choices but nothing that stood out. My favorite part of the meal was actually the shoestring fries, which were perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. Service was just okay. After taking our order, our server never came back to check on us, refill our water glasses, or see if we needed anything else. One thoughtful touch was having sinks located outside the restrooms for anyone who just wanted to wash their hands. That said, the restroom layout felt a bit awkward. The doors were difficult to maneuver, especially with the toilets located immediately inside, and the toilets themselves were noticeably low. Parking can be challenging on weekends, particularly during the breakfast and lunch rush. Most of the nearby street parking is metered and while we only paid about $3.40 for two hours, finding an available spot might take a bit of patience.
