Friendly family owned to-go place. No seating. Order and go. My favorite food is the lentil soup. It's hearty and filling. I would suggest that they look into improving their cleanliness. Someone dropped a knife on the ground and picked it back up and used it again like it was no big deal. That might be a food violation anyone know? I happened to simultaneously find them on the TooGoodToGo app so I used the pickup and also purchased the spicy falalfel wrap because I saw them preparing them and needed to try one. This definitely isn't a 5 star place. The food is average and easy to make yourself. I hate how they added sriracha to the falafel wrap and stopped putting the falafel in a thin layer instead of chunks it used to be so much better. I got so sick from the eggplant. The hummus used to be my favorite but the texture seems off now with a water-like layer and the supposedly flavored ones are weak. Overall the tastes are just standard to below standard definitely not excellent like a 5 star rating would suggest. I also consider them overpriced for what it is (I cook vegan food like this myself so I know how cheap the ingredients are especially if they aren't using organic spices and herbs). The man there told me the olive oil they sell is shipped straight from Lebanon. I had to pick one up and try for myself, and now I can't go back Costco olive oil. The tabouli salad and tomato bulgur were incredibly flavorful and the veggie stew and vermicelli soup were just as satisfying. I'm usually not a fan of onions, but Moe (the owner) recommended the caramelized onion hummus, and it ended up being the best hummus I've had in years. I like spicy and this has a really good spice level; 10/10 4) bugler wheat and caramelized onions; 8.5/10 5) Lentil paste; good depth of flavor! 9/10 I've also had their Lima beans before which I LOVE!! I have never seen any restaurant with 5.0 review on Google and Yelp but if you try this place just once, you will be on your phone writing 5 star reviews. First of all, people are just so nice and generous at this place. Second, the food quality is just awesome, you can tell that every single ingredient is so clean and fresh and superb quality, and the food is made with care and love. Everything I tried was just awesome!!! (and I am a meat eater!!) Chickpea salad was super delicious, pumpkin stew was flavorful, bulgar with mushroom, okra stew were just perfect, and their cucumber salad is so refreshing! They list every ingredient on the label so you know exactly what is in it. Their spicy hummus was really spicy but addictive, I keep thinking about it. I know I will be their regular customer forever after my first try. They said they are also at the farmer's market at Mariner's church, so I will be shopping at both places!
