The guys of the sandwich were subpar but the bread was good. The price for this was no great but I'm guessing he's riding the Disney coat tails of the area. Too many homeless people begging for money outside of a dingy storefront when we offered to buy food or sodas the beggars sneered and said cash only! Not a great location and I'm pretty sure the meat was cheap sliced up cold hot dogs but the sauces were good and covered that gross bit up some. I keep seeing them when we go to the Orange farmers market and have never had the opportunity to swing by. Until today... and glad we did!! They probably have the best potato balls I have ever tried. **Review of Food Truck at Green Cheek** I recently ordered the ropa vieja from this food truck at Green Cheek, which consisted of rice, shredded beef, and black beans. Unfortunately, the dish was a major disappointment: the beef and beans were watered down, the rice was cold and crunchy, and the overall quality was far below expectations. The owner approached our group to discuss our dissatisfaction, but instead of offering a genuine apology or attempting to remedy the situation, he excused the lack of additional napkins by citing the high cost of supplies. His manner was more defensive than conciliatory. Other reviews have similarly noted the owner's rudeness. For me, this was strike one: bad food. Strike two: poor service. And strike three: an owner who fails to accept responsibility and instead blames the customers. I cannot recommend this food truck based on my experience. I ordered the namesake El Cubano sandwich: succulent pork and sliced ham, the mustard and pickles cut through the fat from the pork, grilled until crunchy, fries were thin and crispy, the potato balls had a great outer crunch layer filled with seasoned ground beef, and the fried plantains were sweet (but a bit oily).
