Ceviche de pescado, ceviche de camarón y taco gobernador.
Lucy O.

Such a good spot for mariscos! I really liked this mariscos truck. I had the ceviche de pescado, ceviche de camarón and a taco gobernador. I enjoyed everything but my favorite was the ceviche de camaron. It was so fresh and flavorful. They also give you a good amount of ceviche and add avocado. The service was great. I recommend getting the food to go since there's nowhere to really sit comfortably. I'm glad there's a place like this that I can go to when I get a craving for quality ceviche and mariscos.

Oh my god. First time at this food truck and I am absolutely blown away at how delicious the food is. It's a food truck on a side street. They do seafood instead of the usual meats. I got a shrimp taco and two tostadas, one shrimp ceviche and one octopus. First of all, even in a to go order, the presentation was beautiful. Now for the ultimate test, the food. AMAZING. I will tell you right now this was better than many of the sit down, fancy places I have been to. Huge portions of shrimp ceviche and octopus for the tostadas. The shrimp taco had three huge shrimp that were lightly fried, with the perfect amount of cabbage and sauce. The tostadas came with a huge pile of tortillas and each at least 8 oz of both the ceviche and the octopus. Flavors are spot on and tasty. All topped with a generous serving of avocado. I am so happy and full right now. Tacos and tostadas can also be therapeutic you know. I'll be back for more of those tacos!

Drove by this truck plenty of times. Finally opted to try it as I had cash in my pocket and I didn't want to get bummed by Jimenez nearby. The ladies inside were friendly and spoke English or Spanish. They take digital money, cards or cash. I think there's $1 fee if it's not cash. It's also right next to a bank with an atm if needed. The fish tacos were delicious. They were packaged well for walking back to the office. The thin lighter colored salsa was so hot but it had such a good flavor. First hit with citrus, then garlic, then heat a little heavy on the cabbage but I'd rather have more than not enough. $10/3. I want to try their Gabernador tacos for $11/3. No where to sit but there is a nice tall parking structure curb. And it's covered if it's raining. Definitely going back. Definitely recommended.

Cocteles camaron campechana

Don't let the plain, shady-looking truck fool you -- the food is LEGIT. Tried it for the first time after seeing their Instagram page, and it was definitely worth it! Bought a cocteles camaron campechana and a botana mixta and they were delicious. I ordered the coctel first. It wasn't runny and just full of liquid like you get at a lot of places; this had a lot of pieces of food in it. Yes, there are crackers provided if you want to make the consistency even thicker. It was flavorful and very filling. I came back to grab a botana mixta at the recommendation of a regular of theirs. It came with tostadas on the side, but I didn't bother eating those. There were so many pieces of shrimp and the slices of avocado added to the mix. I think I overate between both items, but they were just too good to waste. I tried a little bit of the hot sauce they had, but it was just muy caliente and it took away from the food's flavor. The people running the truck were super nice and answered my questions. This is definitely a best-kept secret that I will be coming back to.

Pidanse esta campechana con ostiones cuestan un poco mas pero vale la pena

I literally had to tap out halfway through, and trust me, it wasn't because I wanted to! Now let's talk about the flavor! WOW!! The meat was so juicy, and the sausage was grilled to perfection, with that beautiful char on the outside that gives it so much flavor. Every bite was absolutely delicious! The bread was perfectly toasted, the veggies were fresh, and everything came together so beautifully. I'm definitely someone who eats with my eyes first, and this torta had me excited before I even took my first bite! But the taste? Even better than it looks, and that's saying something! I'm genuinely surprised this place doesn't have a line of people out the door! Granted, I came around 3ish, so maybe I missed the lunch rush. But seriously, where is everybody?! I'm leaving with a full belly, half a torta for later, and absolutely no regrets!

The inside is on the smaller side, but it's cozy, welcoming, and full of festive vibes, with beautiful murals and fun decor that give it so much character. There is also outdoor seating as well. But let's talk about the service! TOP NOTCH! The lovely lady at the register made us feel right at home, like we were part of the family. That kind of warmth and hospitality makes all the difference! We ordered the chicken taquitos combo plate with rice and beans, chips and salsa, and a GIANT bowl of menudo. Everything was delicious! My husband is SUPER picky when it comes to menudo, so when he said it was great, you know it had to be good! And the homemade corn tortillas? OHHH MY GOODNESS! That recommendation absolutely knocked it out of the park! Fresh, homemade tortillas are always a win! Overall, great food, amazing hospitality, and that comforting, homemade Mexican food vibe we love. We're so happy we finally stopped by, and we'll definitely be back for more!

They have tables so you can eat there as well. Use the lighter green salsa if you want it spicy. Been a loyal Taco Gutierrez customer for years now. Highly recommend trying.

Tacompadre has tacos, burritos, quesotacos, alambre, loaded fries or nachos, and a few other miscellaneous items. They also have a good selection of proteins including asada, pastor, birria, chicken, chorizo, suadero, and conchinita, as well as a veggie option. The same space is shared with Mongiello's Pizza and Wings, and we ordered items from both menus at once at the register. We ordered our food to go to take to TT, but there is also a common dining area in the center of the market. My girlfriend had three tacos plate ($11.99), two pastor and one veggie. It comes with rice and beans, and we ordered a side of chips ($1.99). They have a self-serve station with utensils and several large covered steel containers of different salsas with small cups to fill. Each of the tacos have two tortillas, and she thought they were good, but she didn't care for the rice or beans. The chips were fine, and the two salsas we tried were good. Our food from both menus was ready pretty quickly, and the staff member was friendly.

It's a small shop with no inside seating and not much standing room either. There's a small parking lot with tandem parking in the back. You might also be able to park at the laundromat next door. There's only outdoor covered seating but seems most people order food to go. I got the california burrito ($16) and the super fries ($19.50). The burrito was decent and the super fries were good. The fries were crispy in both and I liked both the asada and adobada meats. I liked that there was a good amount of pico de gallo to balance the heavy meat, cheese, and carbs in both dishes. Note that the super fries normally come with beans so if you don't want them, ask for it without. They don't have a salsa station but instead they ask what sauces you want and they give them to you in prepackaged containers. They are open late which makes for a good spot after a night out.

I ordered everything to go and went with their Tijuana-style tacos--dos tacos de lengua con todo and dos tacos de carne asada con todo--along with green and red salsa and some limes. If you know lengua, you know it needs to be cleaned and cooked a very specific way, and they definitely got that part right. The lengua was cooked well and had a good texture. For my personal taste, though, it was just missing a little salt. Other than that, the food was good. It's a cute, small spot with some outdoor seating. They also have aguas frescas like horchata, pan dulce, and coffee, so there's a little bit of everything. Overall, a nice little neighborhood taqueria to pull up to when you're craving some Tijuana-style tacos.
