Pupusa with cheese and chicharron
Ash G.

I had the pleasure of trying these yesterday and I was impressed. A coworker brought them for everyone and they were genuinely good. They weren't big, but perfect for an appetizer. I ate the cheese with chicharron pupusa (my favorite) and even though they were small, they were filled with these ingredients. You could taste the flavor in every bite. Most places just place these ingredients in the center of the pupusa leaving the outer part to be nothing but masa, but these were whole with ingredients. Everyone enjoyed them and we all wanted more. I'll definitely order from here soon.

Cheese pupusas, with the most delicious curtido I have personally ever had :)

BEST PUPUSAS IN SANTA ANA, hands down!!! I've had my fair share of trial and error at many Salvadoran restaurants but this one is the best of them all, at least in Orange County hehe. Do not be turned away by the outside, inside its clean and well kept. I have been here multiple times and every time I'm here I leave super happy!! :) With pupusas at $2 each everyday this is a deal that everyone should take advantage of. I'm a cheese pupusa girl but I do also enjoy their bean and cheese, yum :) the pupusas are a tad bit smaller than most places but your usual amount should fill you up. If not, you can start with 2 and order more as the time passes. The food comes out in about 10 minutes because they are made to order, so be a little patient because these puppies are worth it! The more people who are in the restaurant, the longer your food takes. Place is decorated with a very home feel and the women who work here are really nice :) Overall, definitely 5 star worthy :) (especially because they now take credit cards, yay!)

The pupusas are great!! I've been here various times and I've never had a bad experience. I guess the only downside is that the pupusas are a little on the small side but nonetheless they are delicious!!

A bit disappointed with the size and taste. Pupusas were very small and very little filling inside, it was mostly masa.

It is a cash only spot. The pupusas were legit and the curtido was just as good. Each pupusas was $2 and well worth it

Amazing Salvadoran Experience in Santa Ana!…read more I had one of the best meals I've had in Orange County at this Salvadorian spot! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of authentic pupusas and traditional dishes made my mouth water. Every bite was bursting with flavor -- the pupusas were perfectly handmade, fresh, and cheesy, and the tamales were rich and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality of food you get. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and truly passionate about the food they serve. It's clear they care about giving customers a real taste of Salvadoran cuisine -- I'll definitely be coming back soon and bringing friends to share this hidden gem. Highly recommend if you love authentic Latin flavors and great service!

Which would've been fine but I think if there under staff they should've be taking so many orders they can't handle some guy was told 1 hour for just a bread with beans and to top it off the wait was ridiculous and they have no public restroom for the costumers and the people working there this lady with blonde hair just seems so annoyed to be working there.

4.5 star because extra charges…read more My mom was craving pupusas, and when your mom wants something, you get it! I was in Santa Ana for work (I don't live nearby) and found this spot on Yelp. First off, parking is limited but available, which is a plus for a food truck. They also have an outdoor table if you want to eat there--very cool vibe. The truck offers more than just pupusas, which is great for those looking for variety. I especially loved that they have vegetarian options. The cheese pupusas were amazing--super cheesy and flavorful. My mom was satisfied, and that's what matters! The prices are pretty cheap, but it can get expensive if you use a card. They charge an extra dollar plus higher taxes compared to paying with cash, which is a bit inconvenient since not everyone carries cash these days. Overall, great food and a good experience. Just remember to bring cash if you want to save a little!

I ordered the Asada burrito w/ cheese. They were not shy with the cheese! The meat was actually very flavorful & not tough. They give you complimentary chips & Guac! If you are driving by and skeptical of this place don't be the food is amazing! I will be back

I ask the guy where is a manager or owner and he act like didn't heard me . I told him I will pay them but I don't want them , then the guys was happy about it ? But this is sad to pay for a food that it tastes like old bananas or plantain. it was a really sad experience . They don't want to be responsible for a bad food they sale ? Is our money , our hard work , and if we desire to try something that you don't cook at home , it should be worth your money right ? I feel very disappointed and sad . I think I will never go back to that place ! My apologies to the owners of this place but the guys that works there don't care about making people feel happy about your food . They don't care about clients , they just want to make their hours and leave . I hope they make it better one day . We are Salvadorian and we should be more kind to people . We are human beings you know ! So sorry for saying all this but it has to be said . Thank you
