I was in a major bind having spilled only something like 20 ml of water (small amount!) onto my macbook pro keyboard. Despite the nothingness of it, the water fried the connection between my logic board and monitor and I couldn't see anything. This sent me into a depression. I tried all the tricks of the trade that I looked up online. Turning computer off, turning it upside down to get the water out, putting it in rice, saying prayers and none of it worked. Went to Apple store and they quoted me something ridiculous like $755 to get it fixed and I looked at the genius bar lady like she was crazy. Long story short, she herself referred me to Computer Plus and told me that they were bonafide, and I'm happy to say that after getting my computer fixed at less than half the price, she was right. Phillip is very professional, responsive, and dedicated. He put in some extra time to get my computer fixed and working in just a day's turnaround. I'm typing from it as we speak. He's so good in fact that next year he plans to expand his shop....I guess when you have deliver a good service, you get rewarded. In fact, I'm thinking about taking my old Macbook Pro (that's back when Apple used to make premium, durable product - yes, I'm throwing major shade at Apple these days) to him to get a new battery for it. Phil and Jayantha are life savers! They did the impossible and fixed my HP laptop that was completely dead. I had given up on the lap top after trying several times to revive it. So, I was just going to save money to buy a new one. Then, my brother advised me to try out a repair place first. I checked out yelp, saw the reviews about computer plus and thought ok what's the worst that could happen. It was the best decision! Phil was so pleasant over the phone, told me to bring it in that day. I called the following day, and it was all fixed. I recently had my computer repaired by Phillip at the Arlington location of Computer Plus. I can't overstate how happy I was with the service I received. My machine was seriously damaged but Phillip and his team used some pretty powerful software to recover the vast majority of my data, and this was after I had already resigned myself to having lost it all. They were easy going, hard working and professional and I wouldn't bring my computer anywhere else now. I also had the opportunity to worth with Phillip's business partner, Mike, who was very pleasant, professional and helpful. He loaned me a CD-rom to see if I could fix the problem myself, and didn't charge or ask for the CD back. Both of them, are highly recommended for any computer service. I am not a consistent Yelp reviewer, but I absolutely had to write a review for this one. Computer Plus did an amazing job on my computer. The USB ports had gone out completely and after trying everything I could think of, I finally took it to them, having no where else to go. I'm a full-time student and work almost full time as well, so my HP laptop is vital to my life. I asked Phillip to get it done as soon as he could, and he ordered the part the same afternoon and expedited the shipping. He installed it the very next day and the price was great! Wow! Phillip is AMAZING! I brought my computer in because I was having wifi issues, it was slow amongst other computer issues. Apple Store labeled my computer as "vintage" it hurt a little bit being that is a 2009 Mac book pro and told me to buy a new one. I reached out to Philip and so happy that I did. Not only did he work on my computer he offered me a loaner so that I could still have a computer to work on while he fixed my "vintage" piece. Besides that he found me my same Mac book pro with more storage and in MUCH better condition and replaced it for the same cost. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I can't recommend them enough. I was very happy with the service and speed of the repair. The price was also great considering the depth of repair that was needed. I brought in my custom desktop gaming computer to get a repair. I am decently tech savvy, but I was unable to fix the issue myself. Phillip and Jayantha worked very hard to find the problem and get my computer back up and running. The problem ended up being an overheating issue due to my liquid coolant system not functioning properly. Jayantha went above and beyond to test my machine to make sure it wouldn't over heat again.' Came in for a consultation and diagnostic on a broken hard drive. Called ahead and was quoted a flat rate for diagnostic and estimate range for repairs. When I arrived, the technician not only consulted with me and diagnosed my disk without charging me for it, he also explained why he couldn't handle the repair in-house, recommended several other options without bias, and gave me some excellent suggestions for DIY repair to try first. When I spilled coffee on my laptop and 3 keys stopped working, the Apple store told me my only option was to send it to their HQ and have everything that could possibly gotten wet replaced, for a base fee of $755, plus parts, tax, etc. I panicked.
