These guys are doing it right. Exactly what you hope for in a local business…read more I found DC through a Facebook group when I asked for computer repair rec's. Checked out their website, then gave them a call about cleaning up my Mac before my vacation. I put it off to the last minute and wasn't sure they could help. Luckily, they could help me, and the rush fee was $100. I love that fact they picked up the phone and it wasn't some dead doornail employee who could care less about my computer issue. Chris, the owner, actually answered the phone. He said to bring it down. I came in that same day and he told me they would: clean it up, install new OS, remove junk, and speed it up overall. He quoted me end of the week, but it was ready sooner, so happy about because it would be ready for vacation. Total came out to about $430 with the rush fee. It's been about 6 weeks now and my computer is running amazing, so fast! They also have refurbished Macs for sale, which I'll be back for when my current computer stops working. Super 5 Stars for DC Computers! They care about their business and customers. So glad I found them.

Dan and his team immediately put my nerves at ease. I brought in the laptop I use for work, and Dan understood the priority level right away. Not only did they fix the issue faster than expected, but the cost was far lower than I had imagined. As someone who has a small business, seeing their attention to detail was inspiring, it actually makes me want to be a better expert in my own field! They treated me like a local because they are locals and residents who have been serving San Diego for 10 years. If you need a repair or a new computer, go see them. I'll definitely be back! Long story short, I dropped my laptop awhile back that caused minor damage where I was able to just…read morepop the pieces back together. Fast forward to about a month ago where I closed my laptop lid and CRACK - something happens where basically the bezel, back over, and hinge gets damaged to the point where it looks like I ripped it apart when I open my laptop back up. Tried to fix it and somehow made it worse by messing up the screen and man, I've done my fair share of taking computers apart before but I wasn't going to mess with my laptop after this series of unfortunate events. Cue Eric! I reached out to a couple of repair guys for a quote and Eric gave me the best one AND the hope that my laptop could be saved (I had a couple others tell me it wasn't worth the fix; mind you, my computer itself worked fine still - I just had to plug in an external monitor to get anything productive done). He was timely with messages, and even let me know that some parts were missing for repair and ordered it for me. His quote was reasonable in comparison to the cost of a brand new laptop and now that I've had it back for a couple weeks; I can honestly say it feels brand new. Appreciate his quickness and his expertise, would definitely come back for any silliness I encounter with computers down the road. Thanks, Eric!

Instead they tried to tell me I need much more expensive repairs. I order the JB weld for $6 and fixed it myself. Now the owner is out $100 and get a bad review for being dishonest. Edit: owner is also a liar trying to defend his dishonesty. I've attached a picture of our conversation in Yelp. Edit 2: oh so you didn't lie about talking to me you just so overwhelmed you couldn't remember all the people that you spoke to which is why you said you didn't speak to me. And you're not dishonest you are incompetent because you had to quote a much more expensive repair instead of doing quick repair. Makes sense considering you are so overwhelmed with business that you would immediately try and push a longer more expensive repair instead of a quick JB weld job. People if you do business with this man you deserve what you get.

Hail Cesar! My laptop screen was black and wouldn't respond. After trying to diagnose with AI and…read moreYouTube I called Dell and they wanted me to wait 1-2 days for them to send a box, then ship it to them in Texas! They said it would take from 7-14 business days to try to have it repaired and they had no idea how much it would cost (after the initial $59 fee). I had just paid for an expensive software rental for the month, are you kidding me???!!!! Luckily I found 24/7PcTech! Cesar called me within minutes, it was late Friday and all the other local repair places were closed until Monday. I took it over and he had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 1 hour! Dell told me not to take it anywhere locally. When Cesar opened up my computer he showed me the cheap parts they had used on my expensive laptop. He replaced the bad parts with high-quality ones. Now I'm just waiting on part 2, more parts to complete the repair. But it was good enough to use to get important work done over the weekend. Thanks Cesar!

Instead of repairing it, I was told it would be very expensive to replace the screen. The technician then offered me what he described as a "great" MacBook Pro if I paid an additional $350, and I agreed. When I got home, I charged the laptop. It made unusual noises, so I called him. He told me it was "just the fan" and not to worry. Shortly afterward, a low battery warning appeared. I asked if he could replace the battery, and he told me to go buy a new battery myself and bring it in for installation. Trying to get help became extremely frustrating. Several times he told me he wasn't available, even though he had previously implied he was available 24/7. I have text messages documenting all of these conversations. After finally finding a time that worked, I brought the laptop back. He later texted me that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the laptop was turned off. He told me it simply needed to charge overnight. I took it home, but it wouldn't charge at all. When I contacted him again, he claimed the battery was probably bad and once again told me to buy another battery on my own and bring it back. At that point, I lost confidence and took the laptop to another technician for a second opinion. I was told that even with a bad battery, the computer should still show signs of life when connected to power. Instead, they found a motherboard failure, meaning the laptop was essentially nonfunctional and would never work without a major repair. I felt completely misled. Rather than standing behind what he sold me, he repeatedly shifted the responsibility and expense onto me. I have documentation of our text conversations and the sequence of events. I have since filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and reported the matter as suspected fraud. Please be extremely careful if you are considering doing business here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this busines
