I went to computer concepts when I first moved to Everett. My review is belated but truthful with helpful information to those who can relate to what I needed done or are simply considering this business for the services they provide. I bought a pretty nice XPS 8950 Dell Desktop from Costco. Out of the box it's a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700 2.10GHz processor. With 32GB of installed RAM and a RTX 3060 Ti video card, it's not a bad workhorse computer but definitely not as good as a custom build. And one of its drawbacks aside from having the dell-specific motherboard and limited PSU was its terrible case and pathetic fans. I wasn't happy with the factory supplied Air CPU cooler, so went on a quest to find the best Air Cooler I could fit in the 8950 chassis. The cooler height is the biggest problem, you have to stay under about 145mm otherwise you cant fit the side cover back on. In the end, I found the Be Quiet Dark Rock TF2 to not only fit, but it offers significantly better cooling for both the K and non-K CPU's. However, this cooler may still be a bit small for the i9-12900K, but still better than the Air Cooler from Dell. Computer concepts helped me make it happen. Charles was very helpful and accommodating to me because I had limited options with my DELL. He also warned me that I would have the BIOS error every cold start up with my computer but I just need to hit control alt, delete and it bypasses that to the login page. Which I do that everyday and it's no problem. Computer concepts provided good customer service and I ended up installing a 1Terabyte Hard drive as well as the 2 fans and CPU cooler and the labor was very reasonable. Check out my photos of the invoice, texting with Charles about my plans for the Dell and of my computer. I also included a video of me bypassing the BIOS error and the fan noise. Temps are nice and low now even when playing Red Dead Redemption 2. Thank you guys! Compared to the computer places I used to go to in San Diego, it was great having you work on my computer. And I will be back! Happy New Year!!!!

The "district manager" Sebastian G then just lies to me and tells me my only 2 options are to come back the next day for the phone or pay out of pocket (upon calling asurion later he was supposed to tell me to call them to have the IMEI number fixed on their end, but it was close to their closing time and he did not want to stay late). So with no other option as I cannot leave my phone (literally dont know how to get home without it as I drove over 40 minutes to get here) I am strong armed into paying out of pocket. Now after weeks of run around with their parent insurance company assurion they found a solution where another claim could ve submitted which they would be reimbursed for and then I could be refunded as they would have essentially be paid. To this the "district manager" Sebastion said no because it would make a lot of paper work for him and apparently he was just too lazy to do extra work for a mistake his employee made (according to asurion they are not to do any work on a phone if the imei number doesnt match the one that is on the claim). So at the end of the day, 2 mistakes made by the company and no responsibility shown by the "district manager" Sebastian. At this point both them and Asurion are completely washing their hands of it and leaving me out the full amount of $491, which is ridiculous price to charge for a screen repair of a 5 year old phone but that is besides the point. The 2 receipts pictured will show that my correct IMEI number is on the receipt *after* I pay out of pocket (interesting how their system reads it right once I pay but not during the claim processs). Avoid at all costs and cancel your insurance with asurion, paid into it for over 5 years with no claims and when it finally comes time to pay out they find a way not to. Sebastian also lied when the work order was created to try and deny the time I dropped off (he claimed it was 4) but as you see on the receipt the work order was created at 11:46 am so it took them over 4 hours to *not* fix my phone. To further everything after finally having the insurance company get directly in contact with the store Sebastian lied about the events that transpired. Do not use Asurion and U break I fix, they are not consumer friendly and will not assist you in errors caused by either their own internal website or errors directly caused by their staff. imgur link to the photos since cant add them on yelp https://imgur.com/a/dfELhpE

Long version: We dropped off an old and valuable Panasonic VHS player. He mentioned it may be hard to find parts but he would look and keep in touch. During the drop off he made my mom VERY uncomfortable - talking to her for 10 minutes about how attractive she is. She was alone and very uneasy. He also never mentioned anything about price at the drop off and said he would let us know when it was (or wasn't) fixed. After months of hearing nothing, she reached out and he said he couldn't find the parts but that he would be happy to "recycle" it for us. This item goes for $500, even in a nonworking condition, so we made it clear we would be picking it up. Once again, ZERO talk of price. She goes to pick it up, he says he's requiring $90 cash because he suddenly was able to fix something in it, just not enough to actually have it work. (NEVER any mention of this) Once again, she is very uncomfortable, especially after the previous experience, so we just give him the money so we can leave. But not before he makes an extremely rude comment to me about my looks and again reminding us how valuable our item is. (Funny how he wanted to "recycle it") All in all, this man was extremely unprofessional and made countless extremely inappropriate comments. It is 100% worth finding someone else to repair your item - someone who runs their business with integrity.
