However I called Easy Fix and he came to my place within an hour and fixed my phone right in front of me in about 20-30 minutes. It was super fast, easy, and well-priced as well (half the cost Apple would charge for a screen replacement if they did it). I don't know of any other people who travel for repairs, which was really helpful since I would be scared to drive around without my phone for navigation or if I got lost. Peter was able to come over with very short notice when I was available, my old one died my new one arrived and I had to go out of town. I asked what he suggested, advising I wanted to transfer what was on the broken one over. He arrived on time and prepared after a brief exchange of what my concerns were. He reviewed my systems and gave some suggestions, explained some new tech things I wasn't aware of was very generous about is time and his expertise. His rates are extremely reasonable, if you don't think so shop around you will see. Peter didn't try to sell me anything or talk over my head, he was clear, kind and extremely knowledgeable. Peter is not out to bilk you he is out to take care of you as an ongoing customer. I can tell you that I have a few pc's and gadgets and I will from know on use Peter exclusively for our home. During the drop off he made my mom VERY uncomfortable - talking to her for 10 minutes about how attractive she is. She was alone and very uneasy. He also never mentioned anything about price at the drop off and said he would let us know when it was (or wasn't) fixed. After months of hearing nothing, she reached out and he said he couldn't find the parts but that he would be happy to "recycle" it for us. This item goes for $500, even in a nonworking condition, so we made it clear we would be picking it up. Once again, ZERO talk of price. She goes to pick it up, he says he's requiring $90 cash because he suddenly was able to fix something in it, just not enough to actually have it work. (NEVER any mention of this) Once again, she is very uncomfortable, especially after the previous experience, so we just give him the money so we can leave. But not before he makes an extremely rude comment to me about my looks and again reminding us how valuable our item is. (Funny how he wanted to "recycle it") All in all, this man was extremely unprofessional and made countless extremely inappropriate comments. The inevitable (but rare) service interruptions are quickly addressed by the admins, with personal communication at every step. Technical assistance is at your fingertips, and serious help is never very far away. You can get a real human being on the phone if need be during extended business hours. Service like this is hard to find. It is the opposite of the gigantic McISPs that most people have to put up with these days.
