Prompt Service & Topnotch Computer Skills! It's rare to…read morefind trustworthy, fairly priced and quality computer repairs in the Boston metro area. Surprise! WangPC Computer Service's techie Erickson delivers on the promise to make repairs in a timely manner. The costs are fair and mirror those I've grown accustomed to previously. The death of a youthful independent computer businessman I relied upon last year, left a void; not to mention concern about what to do in the event a "computer breakdown" occurred. It is truly a pleasant surprise to encounter the services and nearby location of another trustworthy, knowledgeable and fairly priced computer repair service! The trouble with my laptop has been remedied, and I was not charged excessively for repairing the issue; Erickson "assessed" the problem, communicated to me a "turn-around" time for making the repair as well as, an estimate of the cost. The work was performed within 24 hours! Thanks, WangPC ! I unreservedly recommend you give WangPC of Brookline a visit! Thank you

They are also very accessible, right off the Boston Marathon route down from BC, heading into Newtown. Sadly, WangPc was not able to solve my problem --no fault of their own---but because I couldn't remember the computer password to access the hard drive, yet my company wasn't gonna pay for the repair since I already had an alternative. I just wanted to get my data off. In the end, I chose not to ride back and forth another 17 miles, 3x --go home, find pwd in my agenda, wait for repair, ride back to pick it. Otherwise, I appreciate WangPC great customer service and availability!!

Wang PC is simply the best. I know that this will sound like…read morean ad. It is not. But Martin is simply incredible. One of my PCs dies every year or two and Martin always saves me. I run a large, very complex digital, pro tools based music studio. We're talking multiple SSDs, HDs, outboard equipment, interfaces, controllers . About 20TBs or more of critical data, both internal and external. This time my c :drive completely died. No system restore or other options possible. He somehow was able to basically clone a large dead SSD to the point that I was able to be back up and running in just a day or two. The man can do anything with a computer. Anything. If I didn't have him throughout these years, I don't know what I would've done. Call Martin and Erickson, his assistant. You won't regret it.

I recently visited JP Wireless and had a great overall experience. The store was clean,…read morewell-organized, and had a wide variety of electronics ranging from the latest smartphones to high-end gaming gear. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, answering all my questions without being pushy. Prices were competitive, and I even managed to score a good deal on a Bluetooth speaker. The checkout process was smooth, and I appreciated the option for extended warranty and tech support. I'll definitely be coming back for future purchases. Highly recommend!

Be extremely careful with this store, especially for screen repairs…read more Things looked fine at first. They told me upfront it would be a third-party display, which I thought was fair. Repair was quick. But when I picked it up, the screen looked "thicker" and slightly raised. That should've been a red flag. I didn't raise the question because I thought third-party display was just not perfectly calibrated. Just a couple days later, the battery started draining way faster. Again, silly of me that I didn't go back right away as I was really busy and could still get by. Then it escalated. The screen is now literally being pushed out by a swollen battery, and the phone shuts down whenever it drops below 50%. It's unusable and frankly unsafe. Yes, it's just past their 30-day warranty (a bit over two months now). But I went back anyways expecting them to be reasonable. Instead, they instantly blamed it on the battery entirely and denied any responsibility. The guy didn't even let me finish explaining the timeline as he kept interrupting, getting hostile, throwing out lines like "you're insulting my intelligence" and "educate yourself," and even threatening to call the police. And here's the best part: at one point he got so worked up he said, "do you want me to reapply your old display and give your money back?" I said sure. He storms to the back... comes back seconds later yelling, "I can't find your old display and it's past warranty anyway." These unpleasant interactions sum up what you need to know about how they handle problems. No accountability, no willingness to even discuss it like normal people, just pure defensiveness the moment something goes wrong. And sure, maybe it's "hard to prove" the connection between a bad third-party screen job and battery issues. But the timing of battery deterioration isn't a coincidence. Spend five minutes Googling and you'll see plenty of similar cases. I'm posting this so others don't walk into the same trap: if anything--even slightly--looks off, push back IMMEDIATELY. Because once you walk out, you're on your own. I'm not necessarily saying go to Apple--their pricing can be ridiculous. But places like this are desperate for petty money. It's a gamble. And if something goes wrong, don't expect professionalism, accountability, or even basic respect. Be careful.
