We received estimates from four companies to inspect our home & make any adjustments needed prior to the sale. Without a doubt CPC were the most professional, diligent & cost effective. The owner James made the initial review, recommendations & helped us understand what would happen & the cost. Everything promised was delivered on time & in budget. The team arrived on time & with a sufficient group for clean-up, deodorizing & closing off areas the little critters could enter. We were blown away by their effeminacy, professionalism & courtesy. CPC is the best & we would highly recommend them for all the reasons I noted as well as a very pleasant a group they are. read more

I have been a customer of Complete Pest Control since 2019. For years, I was very impressed with the service. Jim Fletcher would come out, assess the situation, and then send a team to take care of the problem. He and his employees were knowledgeable and professional. They diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and followed up with a two-year warranty in case anything reappeared. Unfortunately, my experience over the past year has been less consistent. Some of the newer employees have not inspired the same confidence, and communication while the office has been frustrating. On one call there was loud yelling in the background; when someone finally answered, they hung up. In May 2026, when the employees had still not arrived half an hour after my appointment window ended, I called the office and was hung up on twice. On a positive note, my most recent service check-up was with Carolyn, who had been to my home before. She was thorough, checked everything, and reassured me that Complete Pest Control is going through a transition and working to get things back on track. I sincerely hope they do. I received very good service from Complete Pest Control for many years and would be happy to see them return to the standard of service I had come to expect. read more

Do not use this company. Very unprofessional. They sent workers out to eradicate rodents and their droppings and didn't cover the HVAC vents and blew dropping throughout the house. The guys weren't wearing masks. Now we are left with an expensive cleanup and they have been unresponsive for the last three weeks and the home is uninhabitable. They said they would have their insurance person contact us and they never did. Having to take legal action. read more

Great service and quick response. Both Caroline and Gonzalo were professional and thorough in setting traps and finding the holes in my foundation and roof. Company stood by their 1 year warranty. I recommend them. read more

Abysmal service and experience. Joshua (who I believe is an owner or manager) talks a good game about eradicating pests (in our case rats) and the written proposal, which I accepted, stated that they would seal our outdoor shed to deny rat entry. He sent two guys out to do the sealing work, which was totally ineffectual. The rats just dug under the chicken wire that they placed at the gaps in the bottom of the shed. When I called to have them remedy the situation, I was told multiple times that because I had not purchased a warranty, they were not obligated to fix the issue. When I explained that I had never been offered a warranty, the (incredibly rude) admin said that this was because they cannot guarantee that their rat proofing will work! So I paid $600 for them to only attempt to fix the problem. I've made multiple attempts to have Joshua call me back to discuss this issue with no result. Total scam. DO NOT HIRE THEM. read more

Company do not call me back. I've spoken with the front desk who is very polite they always answer and assured me that the manager will call me however 2+ weeks he has not returned my phone calls. I am disappointed as I did hire the company and have a two year warranty. Can not get a follow up w / The owner or manager regarding the progress. read more

Completely unprofessional in dealing with our apartment complex. The first gentleman came out for an inspection and our rental company was provided with a statement indicating units would be bombed, sprayed, and outlets would be removed and a special dust would be applied. Wednesday, the day of the "fumigation" a different technician came and decided it was not necessary to do all that. He sprayed the baseboards of the units with something. He was in and out of 4 units in 20 minutes... We called our property manager and complained because we had just spent all this time and money having to wash ALLLL of our clothes, lines, drapes etc. So CPC was supposed to come back today and do at least the outlets. We had been told to move all our furniture to the center of the room for their last visit, so naturally I left most of it like that anticipating they were coming back. Our landlord gave us all written notice that CPC was coming today between 11:00 am and 12:00pm. I made arrangements with my job and they called and cancelled. How do you cancel fixing what your company originally screwed up? I find that to be unacceptable customer service. I might add we are supposed to receive several of these fumigation treatments. Hopefully we start seeing a difference soon, because we are still being bit! read more

Avoid this place if you actually want someone to show up when they say they will or expect them to know their own device area. I called them last Tuesday about a raccoon in our/neighbor's backyard, nest, babies, etc. They set up an appointment for the following Tuesday (today) from 10am-11am. They called me yesterday to confirm the appointment - confirmed. At 9:30am today, half an hour before our appointment, they called back and say that they no longer take raccoon calls in San Francisco. How they missed this during the initial call (when I gave them the address) and again during the confirmation call... I have no idea. Sort of just feels like they didn't want to deal with us today so they just lied and cancelled. In any event, I gave them 2 stars because at least they called instead of just flaking. But, I feel like that's generous. Here I am, a week has passed since I booked these guys, and now I'm starting over with trying to solve this issue. Just some really unprofessional nonsense from this place. read more

I thought I had a great relationship with CPC, however, they ended my contract because I seemed to call and utilize their service too often. They pretty much broke up with me after 8+ years of our contract. I offered to pay more but they felt that it wasn't worth their business. Saddened by the dumping as I did like their service techs when they showed up. They left me in the mist of an infestation. read more

I've been using Complete Pest Control for over a decade and have been very satisfied. They make an unpleasant fact of home ownership actually bearable - even fun at times. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Josh, of course, is a force of nature. Tony and Matt, who stopped by today, addressed an interesting and educational situation in connection with dryer exhaust lint being used by rodents for nesting. And it's always nice when Cindy or Daisy answers the phone. Neil from Atherton read more

I'm really disappointed with Complete Pest Control. They came a couple times and said that nothing was wrong but I could hear the scratching of what turned out to be a huge rat. It ended up taking up a lot of my time. I wish I could get my $200 back. I ended up hiring another rodent control company so I essentially double paid. The service did not work at all. read more

CPC did a great job! Tony cam out for the initial inspection and quote. The rats were coming in from multiple areas of the house. He identified all entry points and provided a quote to clean up, exterminate and seal all entry points. Three weeks later Ben and his crew installed entry barriers on all exterior openings. They did a great job and were in and out in just a half day. Fabulous! CPC also provides a thorough 2 year warranty. I highly recommend CPC! read more

Called them about a carpenter ant infestation, but they said they don't treat ant problems. Perhaps they should remove the word "Complete" from their name? Ants are a pretty big and common issue in the Bay Area. read more

Complete Pest Control did an amazing job ridding our shed of rats. Yes, rats. From the eradication to the sanitation and prevention, they went above our expectations. They set the traps and return to dispose of any unfortunate vermin. In the sanitation process, they did a complete clean out of our shed PLUS hauled away any junk contaminated by rats. CPC is well worth the investment. read more

Have used this company for years and always feel slightly frustrated by them. They will come out as agreed but never with any good solutions they don't seem to have experts in their field but just people trying to make it work. The techs are nice enough but not problem solvers and they just shrug it off. read more

I've used them on several jobs they've always been fair and honest with me. They bring in a crew and knock out the job fast.

Josh was so great!!! We had been smelling what we thought was a dead rat in our garage and he found it right away, disposed of it, checked for entry points, and sprayed the crawlspace for bugs. They were in and out in less than 10 minutes and gave me great advice about how to avoid having them come back again. So friendly too. Will definitely use them again...though I hope I don't have to ;) read more

The crew that came to my house to do the rodent proofing (Pablo, Scott and Juan) were absolutely amazing. Very professional and responsive, and took care to protect our house when they entered during Shelter in Place. If you need to get work done, definitely ask for Pablo (I believe he was the supervisor). He's the best! However, be careful with the owner of this company (James) - not so great. He doesn't explain that there are 2 separate charges - one for baiting and one for rodent proofing. The initial inspection is free - he came to my house and found no signs of rodents. Attic was completely clean. I just wanted to do the rodent proofing since James found holes big enough for rats to get in, but he was pushy and said I should do the baiting because if he seals everything off, the rodents could get stuck in my attic and start chewing electrical wires. He didn't explain there are 2 separate charges. Charged me $360 to throw a few bait packs (very cheap - you can buy at most home improvement stores or online) in my attic. Complete rip-off! So it's 5 stars for the rodent proofing crew (Pablo, Scott and Juan) and 1 star for James (the owner). If it wasn't for the rodent proofing crew (Pablo, Scott and Juan), this would be a zero star review. read more

The entire experience was unprofessional and strange. Josh came for the initial estimate and was unprofessional to our property manager. When the next man came, he did not know where to drop the rat poison. I would think Josh would have communicated that information from his walk through. The clean up experience was weird too after we expressed our concern for lack of professionalism and communication. Overall, would not recommend. read more

I've been using Complete Pest Control for 1 1/2 years. When the came out and took care of the rats and included a 2-year warranty. I recently spotted some signs that rats had returned. I called and they came out right away, found a nest under the house and found a place where they may have gotten in. The cleared out the nest and treated the area. Then they fixed the possible entry point. Today I got a call from them to schedule a return visit so that they can confirm that the rats are gone. The technician, Juan was wonderful. He didn't rush through anything. He made sure he checked the inside and outside of the house for entry points. I really appreciated that fact that I never felt he had to rush on to his next stop. I couldn't be more pleased with Complete Pest Control and will continue to recommend them. read more

Do not use this company. I paid for them to inspect (external) and place three bait traps ($215), but they only placed two. When I sent emails (three times) for them to add the other trap, they never responded. Then they tried to schedule a time for someone to come out to refill the traps ($52 monthly) I told them I no longer wanted their service, and I would refill the traps myself (cheap and easy to do). They then wanted to come and retrieve the traps (which I had paid for). I told them that I had paid for them and was going to keep them. They argued through a couple phone calls, but I have kept the traps which retail for about $21 each. read more

I called complete pest control several times, and repeatedly asked for Josh or Tony to come to my house to try to find the way the mice were getting into my attic. When he finally came Josh told me he found the problelm right away but, that I would have to Pay $400.00 as my warranty was up. If they would have fixed it in the first place I wouldn't be writing this review. read more

Well, I can't drop to a 1 or less, 'cause Josh did spend some time with me initially. However, if you say feel free to call with any questions, or have your homeowner call... then you should return a call... or two. I left two messages for Josh, near a week apart, and never got a call back. I say, if you don't wanna answer more questions, then don't offer it up. If someone can't take your word on a phone call, how can they possibly trust they are going to get honest work from you. read more

We've been having an ant problem at my house for the last few years and I needed a professional service to address the issue because the Home Depot products we purchased were not working. We called complete pest control and their office staff was very friendly and assured me they could take care of the problem. The following week one of their associates came out and disbursed two types of ant control, both of which were safe for our children. This is a big concern for us because we have a five-year-old and a seven-year-old. It's been nine months and we haven't had a single ant in our house! I totally recommend these guys for straightforward, professional service. read more

I have used Complete Pest Control periodically over the last 10 + years for protection against rats. I've needed their assistance, because there has been a lot of tear down and then building of new houses in my neighborhood. This has caused rats to move around to find new places. I unequivocally, recommend Complete Pest Control . They REALLY knows how to deal with rodents. When they come to assess the problem they very clearly and credibly describe the problem and what solution makes sense. The provide a complete solution so that the rats cannot come right back. And, they provide a warranty and come back out to check and tweak the solution as necessary. Thank you Complete Pest Control! read more

Had them come out for an assessment, and two weeks later I still hadn't heard from them. When I realized I hadn't heard, I called them. I had asked about reducing the rat population in my yard, which has gotten out of control. They recommended "bait boxes" with poison. The rat eats the poison and then heads for a water source (where they presumably die). Since I live in a neighborhood with pets around and a creek nearby, the risk of poisoning a pet when it eats a dying rat or polluting the creek with poisoned rat bodies is unappealing. They had no other option, and when I asked about traps, or anything but poison, they said that's all they could offer, but were not able to explain why. read more

If you are serious about getting rid of rats & rodents, then this is the company to call! I have tried at least 5 different pest control companies over the past 4 years, and Complete Pest Control is the first one who seems to really understand how to get rid of these unwanted beasts for good. Josh came out and explained in detail how he would not not only going to get rid of my rats and raccoons, but also promised me that they would never come back. I think his company is the only one which will guarantee that after they are done, then the beasts will be gone or Josh & his team will be back to take care of it...for free. Josh did an amazing job looking over my entire house for entrance holes and placing the bait. And unlike some of these other companies which place a little Skippy peanut butter on a trap and call it a day, or tell me I need to euthanize my rats and then pay $80 a rat to remove each one and bury it in sacred rodent burial grounds, Josh placed REAL bait. He went under the house, in the attic, on the roof, behind my house...and believe me, my house is not easy to access in most places! He placed bait and said he would be back in a couple weeks for Round 2 of Rodent Removal. A couple weeks later, he and his colleague, Adam Stollman, came back as promised for Round 2. They went through my entire house checking again for rodents and then proceeded to eradicate the beasts (we watched 4 raccoons run from under my foundation!) & then they sealed up all remaining holes in my house. They did not leave until the job was done. I am super impressed. Both Josh and Adam were incredibly polite, efficient, nice, and friendly (and super cute, too :). They arrived on time, followed up as promised, and I now have a guarantee that the beasts are gone for good. And as Josh said, if they aren't, then I'm free to call back anytime. This is totally the place to call! If you want incomplete or partial pest control, then try one of these other companies that just want to bleed you dry of your money. But if you want complete and total eradication and nuclear death to rats & rodents, then call Josh & Adam at Complete Pest Control. This place is awesome. read more

I literally just signed up to Yelp so I could provide an honest evaluation and review. I believe a service provider (Josh at Complete Pest Control) who goes above and beyond for the customer is deserving of a fair & accurate public review. I called this company due to rat droppings within my outdoor BBQ. I previously had another company out who charged me $255 for their services. (Their service constituted placing a few traps within flimsy cardboard boxes. Period) I was pissed that they never advised me they did not clean up the rodent mess which was the main problem and perpetuated the infestation . Once Josh came out, he was personable, knowledgeable, and gave me several options regarding eradication. The price is certainly fair and realistically they provide a service, as opposed to the scammed feeling I received with the other local pest control company. This company and Josh are legitimate professionals. Do not make my mistake of trying another company. Complete Pest Control is the only company I'll use for future services. read more

I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to see how things turned out over the long run. Earlier this year - about six months ago - we called CPC to come out and inspect our house because we knew we had rats in the attic and the walls but we couldn't find their entrance points no matter how hard we looked. We had seen plenty of evidence of their presence and had trapped rats ourselves in the attic before, and we would often hear scratchy noises in the walls. The previous year, we had suffered a rat mite infestation in the house resulting in us getting multitudes of painful, swollen bites and having to go through doing tons of laundry and spraying with insecticide numerous times. It was a nightmare that we didn't want to got through again. Josh came out and immediately spotted 3 entrances that we hadn't seen - they were quite hidden but he spotted the trails leading to them. We had them do their work which they did promptly and quickly, and, lo and behold, we have been rat-free ever since. Not only that, but, I presume because they deodorized the attic and the crawl space, which Josh said would make the house "invisible" to passing rats because it removes the smell of existing nests, we even have fewer rats outside as well. We hardly ever see or hear them anymore. On top of all that, what they charged for the work was totally reasonable in our opinion - about half what we expected to pay and, a deal, considering the result! read more

James came out and inspected our house to determine the source of the sounds coming from above our ceiling. It turned out there is a bird nesting in one of the vents that had a hole in the screen. I had used Complete Pest Control in the past and received good service so wanted to use them again. Second time around was horrible. They apparently did not put me in the schedule when I made the appointment and then they took my address down incorrectly so the guy was late. Then they charged me $300 to drop some rat poison under the house. They no-showed the follow up appointment and then when rescheduled, they were late again. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews prior to having them come out. I would not recommend Complete Pest Control.
