Don't you just love that? The BLT at The Chocolate Moose is served on a toasted croissant, with slices of crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato. You can get it with mayo or not (I did not). I think the smart move is to ask for extra bacon. The extra bacon put this sandwich over the top! I don't know if it was because of the extra bacon, or because it was tomato season, but the BLT was perfect and just what I needed. I got some potato wedges to go with my sandwich, and I loved those almost as much as my sandwich. Dang, The Chocolate Moose! Who knew you had such good food? Everyone is raving about the ice cream, but I'm over here screaming (OK, murmuring) about the food. I'm not the biggest ice cream fan, but I do occasionally enjoy ice cream as long as it has some stuff in it. It needs texture and things I can chew on. One of my favorite ice cream treats is a turtle sundae, because it has pecans and caramel in it -- a winning combination. Because I was at an ice cream shop, I thought, "What the heck?" and ordered a cup of sweet mucus -- I mean, ice cream. The turtle sundae that I got at The Chocolate Moose was great! I just wish it had more pecans, but I suppose you can ask for them, which I didn't think to do. They have several different kinds of sundaes, as well as ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes and vegan ice cream. There's a drive-thru, which is convenient, but there is very little parking, which is inconvenient. The people that I encountered who work here were super friendly and nice, which was nice.

I got distracted and started taking some pics and video that I was going to share on here to leave a review. The older lady at the front counter was nice and chatted. The man who served the coffee and the lady in the craft area; not so much. Very cold and not very customer focused. As I was taking some video the lady rudely said I don't really allow people to take video. I said okay and stopped. I explained to her I was just going to share it. Not like I was trying to get trade secrets. Anyway, the whole experience made me decide I would not go back. There's too many other nicer little coffee shops in the area to go to. (Daily Grind is a good one!) Anyway, that's my personal experience. Hopefully they'll take this as constructive criticism and treat customers better in the future.

The owner was super friendly and also said she just opened a gift shop down the street and also lives in town. Her brother and one of her employees helped us the day prior and they live in town as well. They also have a coffee or tea to sample on a table in the seating area. There are a few tables to sit at and a couch and chairs in the seating area. They were 7 of us so we enjoyed many items on the menu. The highlights were vanilla chai latte (my fave), the peach tea, and the s'mores latte. There are plenty of items in the shop for purchase related to tea and coffee and you can browse for quite a while. I highly recommend this shop and the delightful owner and I will certainly stop in again.

We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. Having stayed at an inn just down the road, we wanted to get a hot tea to warm up before our day off walking around town. We are so glad to have found Sweetea's! We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day. We were able to started parked in the lot while at the visitors center and the shops in the surrounding square which was very handy. Loved this place, will definitely be back next time we visit Brown Co!

The cabin atmosphere is incredibly cozy -- the kind of place you want to slow down and stay awhile. It has that perfect Nashville, IN charm that makes you feel instantly comfortable. We ordered the iced blueberry pancake latte and the orange spice tea, and both were so good. The latte was unique and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the tea was warm, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. The staff was attentive, service was fast, and everything felt welcoming from start to finish. Such a great little spot -- we'll definitely be back!

I wish I wanted some baked goods while I was here, because this place has all of the homemade-looking baked goods. Peanut butter cookies in a Tupperware container, bread pudding covered in plastic wrap, apple pie in a metal pie dish. All of the baked goods look like they were made by someone's grandma. And they looked like they were labeled by someone's grandpa, carefully, in grandpa handwriting. Nashville General Store has a breakfast and lunch menu along with baked goods, with a big indoor dining room that you can sit in and enjoy your meal. Breakfast foods include pancakes, quiche and breakfast sandwiches; lunch options include things like sandwiches, soups, salads and sides. This place is also a store. You will find things like jams and canned goods, home decor, and lots more stuff with a country aesthetic. It's a cute place to visit to grab something to eat or drink, and look around.

The dressing was light and tasty. The room was huge and a bit loud but I could still talk with my friend. I definitely recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
