I would like to be able to review the food and service but we were sadly turned away and this is…read morenot the first time. We had the same thing happen at the original location before they moved in to their new larger location which happens to be in the same place that a local and family favorite previously occupied. We can understand turning away a large group in the first location because it was pretty small. We had a group of 6 and they would not set us. This time we tried again at the new location and had a larger group of 11. We all came from at least 4 hours out of town and some from New York. We come to Nashville Indiana/Brown county quite literally every year the week of the 22 in October and have been for over 20 years. This year is especially meaningful because my father in law has been diagnosed with a very serious medical condition making this possibly his last trip. We weren't able to try out the new cafe and give our family a memorable experience in one of our favorite spots even though it is a new business. We even asked them to split up our group and they were unwilling to accommodate. This may well be our final attempt to try out this restaurant which is a shame because all the work they have done has really made the place look very nice and the menu looks good. I guess we will never know though. Yours truly Disappointed almost guest

Warning: Management is not taking care to update this property's location…read more... Bird's Nest has moved to OLD Hob Nob location.... In our view Hob Nob defines the new location, but not the restaurant. For economic reasons, the old Hob Nob was a Goldmine and now Bird's Nest is a Goldmine - Nice new floors, tables, chandeliers,.... Menu and food Caveat: weekday or weekend, arrive before Noon, and place is packed Menu has potential, but kitchen is lacking in talent Today our meal required 40+ minutes in a packed restaurant Desperately needs more servers and kitchen help We recommend

We decided to check it out for breakfast. It was delicious, and we've eaten there a few times since and always have a great experience. We both have been wanting to try some of their lunch specials, but we work and can't get there to check it out. We were off today and decided to go there for lunch because they were having chicken and noodles, and that's one of my favorite meals. It did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and even ordered seconds to go, so we could have it for dinner. The chicken and noodles came with mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, and a roll. You could definitely tell the food was homemade too. Delicious! The Farmhouse Diner isn't a very big restaurant and can get pretty busy. It reminds me of a little country diner where all the local farmers and their wives go to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. We will definitely be going back.

My wife and I decided to stop in here for a breakfast date and we're so happy we did!…read more When you walk into this place you're immediately struck by the ambiance. It's a hybrid between a breakfast spot and a cigar lounge vibe. We digged it! After sitting down our very friendly waitress came over and took our order. We ordered the orange sunrise mocktail, a quinoa bowl, gluten free pancakes and the California club omelette. Everything was AMAZING. Not one thing was bad. The omelette was one of the best if not the best I've ever had. Stuffed FULL of all the mix ins and cheese with yummy breakfast potatoes. The star of the show was the gluten free pancakes. They were stellar!! Would highly recommend. This place is one of the easiest 5/5 I've ever given. 100% would recommend!!

Antilogy nailed brunch from the first sip to the last bite…read more We started with Bloody Marys. Our server asked if we wanted them spicy. We said yes, and she delivered. The cocktail actually had some heat, and the glass was rimmed with Everything Bagel Seasoning. I'd never had that before. It was a tasty touch. The candied bacon garnish was divine. We ended up ordering a second round. The Jalapeño Deviled Eggs are outstanding. Smooth and creamy, topped with jalapeño and candied bacon. Every bite was a pleasure. For entrees, I got the Bourbon Jalapeño Shrimp. It had a light kick and tasted incredible. My husband ordered the Rise & Shine Chicken Biscuit. It was all tasty, but that biscuit was fluffy and salty, exactly how a good biscuit should be. Our server made the whole meal. She was friendly and patient with me even though I was having more trouble than usual deciding what to order. She also mixed our Bloody Marys, so she was working double duty and doing it well. The space strikes a balance between sophisticated and casual, so you can dress up or keep it relaxed and feel comfortable either way. We'll definitely be back!
