Urban Fav brunch sandwich

Really fun atmosphere! I love that you can choose to have croffles for the bread on your sandwich! I had the Urban Fav and it was absolutely delicious! Make sure you grab extra napkins, since the food can be a bit messy.

I stopped in after #OptOutsideIN2024 at McCormick's Creek, grabbing their Bee Sting Latte (Jalapeno infused honey latte) and one of their delish #croffles. I craved a sweet treat but nothing too heavy, and the apple & PB croffle was beyond perfect. I cannot wait to stop back in when heading to the park!

Unique business offering cafe and kids' play place. Tasty sweet concoctions and large portion "croffle" (croissant waffle) treats. Cute individual seating areas and a community room, too. Outlets on the walls for remote working, though the shrieks of children playing may not be the best backdrop for a productive environment. ;) Although they do ask kids (and the parents watching them) to abide by a no-running, no-screaming policy. I recommend the iced Raspberry Bliss drink (white chocolate mocha with raspberry)!

A lovely surprise find when visiting Martinsville. The coffee was very good and the atmosphere was delightful. A haven for moms of small kids and women in general. Lists of space to sit and chat, work or just relax. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was good and the had plenty of small offerings. Worth the stop!

This was the only spot I hadn't planned on our trip but I'm so happy we found it! The best meals and drinks by far that we found near Indianapolis. We stopped by on the way to hunters honey farm and the staff was so sweet while the space was just a dream of pink and cute signs everywhere!

This place is UH-mazinggggg! It's so cute and welcoming. The fruit plate is fresh and delicious. Coffee is the perfect temp & it and tastes delightful. You can tell they put a lot of love into this place! I can't wait to bring my kids here for the playground area!

The food and coffee was amazing. They also have a cute play area for kids - which means this is a great place for moms to meet up for play dates!

The charm of this play cafe is enchanting The aesthetic, the coffee, and the food get a 10/10 from me! If you haven't tried a croffle, you must! Trust me. This is such a welcoming space to all! Also I love the wellness center! The sauna room is amazing!!

Highlights: + They have cats, so if you need a serotonin boost, a visit is a must +The cafe offers a handful of snack (even a gluten free option) and your typical cafe offerings. There is high top seating that has a perfect view into the cat room, as well as a few low top tables +They do offer a handful of cat themed items for purchase +the cat room is geared entirely towards the cats. There are tons of toys and places (high/low) that offer them to either be out in the open or a hole that offers them to escape and feel secure. There is also a room where their litter boxes are that also provides places for them to escape to and not interact with visitors if they do not wish to + There is always staff in the room to make sure to monitor the interactions with the cats and human visitors, enforce the simple rule to not actually pick up the cats (sadly some people truly can't understand this one), and answer any questions that might have +They rotate which rescues they work with. Also, they act as a safe space to interact with the cats, so adoptions, while they may be initiated through them, they don't actually approve you or take the fees for the cats. + Reservations are recommended as they do limit the number of individuals per time period. You can either select 30 minutes or an hour +They do offer additional events (i.e. Yoga or Painting with cats) if you are looking for a fun activity to do.

They're not the best I've ever had, but having a great option is nice! I've had some dairy free chai and matcha lattes here and both were good! The cat room is accessible for $10 per half hour. This seems to be about the going rate for this type of experience now, though it feels a little pricey to me. (Maybe because I remember visiting a cat cafe years ago for $5 per half hour.) Both times I've visited in the past year, on weekdays, it wasn't crowded human-wise and there were plenty of cats! One visit, I mostly watched them and chatted with the attendant. One cat crept onto my lap and purred while I pet her on the couch. The other, there were playful cats about and my mini BFF and I were able to use some of the cat toys for most of the visit. Both experiences were great! The bathroom has been clean both visits. There are fun extras like cat figurines and cat ear headbands you can purchase. I know they do events here like yoga with cats, but I haven't been to any of those yet. If you sign up for their email list, they send updates with all the events they do and it's fun to see everything they put together! I enjoy cats, but can't have one of my own at the moment, so I'm looking forward to my next visit here for my coffee shop kitty fix.

Put them together, and you have a wonderfully easy way to help pets. At Pawz Pet Cafe, all of the cats and kittens that live here are adoptable, and you can visit them. The cats come from Paws on my Heart, Inc., a no-kill cat rescue that takes in cats from many different counties around Indiana. Some people visit Pawz Pet Cafe to suss out a forever friend. But my kids and I visited just for the kitty cuddles. But if you're interested in adopting a cat, there's a binder on a table with information about each cat that you can peruse through. You can also speak to one of the friendly people who are in the sanctuary, and they are happy to answer questions. All of the cats at Pawz are vetted and ready to be adopted. My children and I have visited a few cat cafes, and we all agreed that the cats here were the friendliest we've ever encountered! Most of the cats were ready to play and visit. We did visit right at noon when they opened, so that could be why. I'm thinking that if you want the cats at their freshest, you probably want to visit as early as possible when they aren't touched- and people'd-out. As of this writing, you don't have to make a reservation in order to visit the kitties, but it is recommended. Visiting sessions are in 30- and 60-minute increments. We booked 30 minutes but could have easily stayed a whole hour. Somehow, time slips away when you're petting a cat! Petz also has a beverage bar, which mostly consists of boba beverages as of right now. They are supposed to have coffee soon. My children each got the two most popular boba drinks: Fireworks Fizzle and Catnip Cooler. They both enjoyed their drinks! You'll also find a few snacks, like chips and candy, which you can enjoy in the lounge area away from the cats.

From the moment you walk in, the space feels calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for both people and cats. The coffee is excellent and clearly made with care, but the real magic is spending time with the cats. They are well cared for, playful, and relaxed, which says a lot about how the staff runs the space. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare. They take the time to answer questions about the cats and the adoption process without any pressure. Whether you are looking to adopt, need a peaceful place to sip coffee, or just want a mood boost from being around cats, The Catmosphere delivers. You leave feeling happier than when you arrived. Highly recommend supporting this amazing spot.

I love the Catmosphere. I love them because of the good work this business model is doing for…read moreplacing cats from shelters in homes. In addition to this being a uniquely cool concept that successfully grew root in Terre Haute, not to mention in the neat 12 Points area of town. Now I have been to several cat cafes around the planet (even an owl cafe in Tokyo and a rabbit cafe in Hong Kong). Cat cafes in and of themselves are what they are. Kind of smell like cats, kind of have subpar food/drink offerings. Only cat people really go to these kind of places, right? But then I enter the Catmosphere. Not going to lie, I just love the name. Super catchy and also flows off my tongue like a script from Star Wars, which kind of makes me giggle. You can come to the "Cafe" portion of the Catmosphere and simply buy a coffee or snack and sit in the cafe, read, play a board game, chill or hang out. I think they are getting their footing regarding the F&B portion of their offerings, but for now there is not anything exceptionally noteworthy in this department. But the coffee we ordered was freshly brewed and hot. Coming to cafe is free, just buy some food and beverage item. It will cost you $12 to go inside the actual "Catmosphere." $12.50 when booked on-line to include the tax charge of a credit card. After securing a spot on-line for me and my parents to visit one random Wednesday afternoon a few weeks ago, we enter the two door security system to ensure no felines get out. We are verbally presented with a few ground rules before we go in from staff. Now, like all animal cafes, one is hit with the smell of cats immediately upon entering. No escaping that with between 18-25 cats possibly around on any given day. But the room itself you can tell is cleaned and these cats are clearly cared for as exemplified in the bounty of cats who are happily lounging, prancing and playing about. They disguise the liter boxes behind their couches, so I barely know they are there. The room is fun. The owner Jade and the employee Storm (student from ISU) are here on this day and they seem happy we are here. Jade is manning the cafe part and Storm is helping engage kitties and patrons in the actual Catmosphere. These two woman clearly have a love of animals and want to place these cats in good homes. And quite honestly, with like 160+ adoptions in their short 9 or 10 months of being open, they are doing an excellent job. There are photos on their Instagram feed and also in the cafe showing all the happy cats with their new humans. This spot allows you to really get to understand and see a cats personality. I would strongly suggest making a reservation on their website, for they limit the number of people that can be inside the Catmosphere at any time. A nice woman and her daughter were turned away to a later time slot when we were there checking in because all the bookings were sold out for the 2pm hour that day. It was a Wednesday, not even a busy weekend. Their website also posts the other fun things they are doing here like "Yoga with Cats for Kids," "College Study Sessions," and "Adults Only time." They get creative marketing points for making opportunities for people to engage with cats and cats to engage with humans, which makes cats more easily adoptable once they are use to being around people. It is such a nice space with lots of seating and even an TV area for kids. Lots of cat toys about to interact and play. The best $12 you can spend for an hour to relax and lower your blood pressure by simply being around, petting and playing with cats. Now sure, the ultimate goal is to place cats in good homes, but you can easily just come and be a visitor, not an adopter. They have limited hours and are not open every day. I think they get new cats in on Mondays and Tuesdays. They pull cats from the shelter in Terre Haute and also other counties/communities surrounding the Vigo county area. What great partnerships to place cats! So I personally think Wednesday might be the best day to visit, but that is just my opinion. They sell cat related stuff in their little shop area and also have a frequent visitor punch card (with every 9 visits, get the 10th visit free....the 9th Life Loyalty program...witty!). The Catmosphere is checking every marketing box in my head....F&B, creative selling point, open space, hospitality, frequent shopper card, kind staff. I am on a plane as I type headed back to Terre Haute to see my folks. I have already secured our second visit to the Catmosphere tomorrow because my parents want to find their forever furry friend and this seems like the perfect venue to make that possibly happen.

A little overdue on this and was mindful to write this review before I go back to the Corsair Cafe…read moresomeday. A tiny spot located at the TH Regional Airport, if it not for my quest to weed places like this out, the average person would not know this was here. Off the beaten path for someone not using the actual airport. In addition to the small cafe serving sandwiches, soup, coffees and the like, the Corsair Cafe is packed full of plane paraphernalia, toys, books and gadgets. If you have a kid interested in planes or flying, you need to get over here to fill their Christmas list. Model airplanes, books, bags, t-shirts, games....lots of stuff all about flying. Nick nacks and trinket stuff too. I brought my parents out here for something different. The lunch was OK and reasonably priced. They featured a pull pork sandwich for $5 the day we were there that my dad said was not half bad (a city girl like me was taken back by the low price). We were the only ones in the cafe when we were there. There are Adirondack like, wooden chairs and picnic tables outside to maybe sit, have an ice tea and watch planes come in and out and move about (not sure how much action this airport gets on any given day, I am guessing not a lot). So nothing incredibly unique going on in the food realm hear other than a decent well priced uneventful menu, but a unique atmosphere that if you caught on the right day might be a nice spot to see some plane activity while enjoying a bowl of soup and a lemonade.

It was still a fun place, I just had my expectations too high.
