Once we closed and moved in we were contacted by Smart Tech's service tech JP. JP came to our house for the "white glove" move-in service, which consisted of explaining all of the options that Smart Tech offers to the homeowners in this community, and to our surprise, a free Ring front gate camera and keyless entry system from the garage into the house. JP was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable that we decided to go with Smart Tech to install/mount all of our TV's, install a web mesh system, and install all of our audio/video systems. This was a pretty big project that included mounting 6 TV's, 3 web mesh locations throughout the house and 2 Dolby surround systems, as well as a audio sound system on the back patio. JP and Steve, also from Smart Tech, took care of this entire project in one day. Their work was impeccable! TV's were mounted perfectly and they left the work areas spotless. Both JP and Steve were professional, courteous, very friendly and super helpful explaining all of the info involved with all of the installation. I read most of the reviews here on Smart Tech prior to hiring them and noticed that most of the reviews were for security systems. I really felt it was important to add this review because they did such an exceptional job on our audio/video systems. I would recommend Smart Tech to anyone looking for this type of project. Great company, with great employees! JP and Steve, thanks again, you guys are awesome!

Thank goodness for Amer!…read more We were having some problems with our alarm, and also wanted to upgrade. Since we had been with our previous alarm company for over 20 years, we were just going to call them. But since we wanted to upgrade our system, I decided I should look them up on Yelp for reviews. Finally found them... with 2 stars, and all sorts of bad reviews! So started to look for another company. We like to support local businesses, and found Eagle Eye LG Security with Amer! What a blessing. He contacted us right away. He showed up at the appointed time. We were very pleased with his approach and suggestions. We set up for the following week for him to upgrade our system. Again, he showed up on time, and got to work. What he found was that our previous alarm company was not receiving anything from our alarm. We would set it whenever we'd leave, hear the 60 second delay, and figure we were protected. So we were paying our bill monthly, and not receiving any protection. We figured it had been 2-3 years! Our system was old, but Amer didn't try to upcharge us for any of the headaches he had to work with. It took a lot of investigation on Amer's part. Thankfully he's been doing this for a very long time. He knew the old components, and knew how to work with them, and what wouldn't work with them! Thank you so much Amer for your work ethic, your knowledge and your integrity. It is much appreciated, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get this posted. If you've made it this far in this epic review, I hope you will at least give Amer at Eagle Eye LG Security a chance to help you also!

Multiple times we had service people here, and they wanted to charge us each and every time. Then we made the mistake of ordering more cameras. Then the real troubles began, serv8xe call after service call. Customer support then out of the blue said, "oh you're going to need another panel to support your cameras". We got another, panel, whoxh means we now have two accounts we have to pay for, so we're now up to over $150 plus on the monthly. Did I mention we had to upgrade some equipment? Many years of being a customer, many serive calls, and much money spent, well over $6,000. We've been here in our new house, since 2022. Last straw, tonight our fire alarms went off and vivint contacted us through the panel, and didnt resolve anything. First department arrived and found nothing. In the meantime, we continued to pull alarms down, pulled batteries, other sensors. Still they kept going off until I pulled down Vivint sensors(large conical looking ones). The panel had been pulled off the wall and reset multiple times. We then kept calling and they said it wasn't their equipment. Thr end, "you need to upgrade all your equipment." We hung up. Do not ever use this company.

I really didn't want to give them a poor rating, but I felt like they left me no choice…read more This review is based on their customer service. I needed someone to go out to a rental property to change a system battery. We no longer live in the desert and our tenant does not have a contract with any company for monitoring. I contacted Comtron to get a quote. I clearly explained the situation to the girl who answered the phone. She asked for the property address to look it up in their system. I told her we do not have service with them. She gave me the quote of $55 for the service call and $50 for the battery. I told her I would call her back after I spoke with my husband. I called back less than an hour later. The girl I spoke to (not the same as the first call) said she would set up a walk through to get a quote. Huh? I explained that I already got a quote and was just calling back to schedule the service. She said I was misquoted and they do not do service calls for non customers. I asked to speak with the manager....Jenny got on the phone, I explained the problem to her. She agreed that I was misquoted. She also stated she has a "couple of new girls in the office". She apologised for the mix up. When I told her I was going to give them a poor review she asked me not to and if I could get her the name of the system she would see what she could do. I phoned her back about 30 minutes later (just about 5:00pm). The girl who answered the phone just answered by saying "hello"...I asked if this was Comtron and she said it was. (odd!) When I asked for Jenny she said she had already left for the day. No problem. I left my contact information and explained that Jenny was expecting my call and ask that she call me when she got in the following day. That was two days ago. I just now received a call for Jenny. She didn't quite remember me and asked when I wanted them to come out to set up service. Nope. I reminded her of who I was and why I had called and left my information. Her response: "oh! you're THAT Lisa, I don't know why they put you on my calendar to call you". Really? I told her I had called her back just like she asked me to. I explained that when I hadn't heard back from her yesterday I just contacted a different company. She seemed very confused. My impression is they totally lack any sort of customer service and are completely disorganized. Good luck if you choose Comtron.
