I was on hold for hours plus being transferred from one department to another. If there was a problem with the doorbell, they transferred me to Google and I was on hold for another hour. If my cameras are not working with Expert Alarm, I text George even on a Sunday and he responds with a text within 15 minutes. He's just amazing! Plus the cost is half the ADT so the value is incredible. The service is fantastic and the quality is impressive. They notify me every time somebody comes in the door through a text. Nightly there's a cat that comes into my yard eand there's a photo of him sent to my email. Plus they send me emails and a text every time the gardener is in the yard. I cannot recommend them enough. I'm so impressed with the quality and their service. It's amazing especially after years with ADT. JP came to our house for the "white glove" move-in service, which consisted of explaining all of the options that Smart Tech offers to the homeowners in this community, and to our surprise, a free Ring front gate camera and keyless entry system from the garage into the house. JP was so professional, courteous and knowledgeable that we decided to go with Smart Tech to install/mount all of our TV's, install a web mesh system, and install all of our audio/video systems. This was a pretty big project that included mounting 6 TV's, 3 web mesh locations throughout the house and 2 Dolby surround systems, as well as a audio sound system on the back patio. JP and Steve, also from Smart Tech, took care of this entire project in one day. Their work was impeccable! TV's were mounted perfectly and they left the work areas spotless. Both JP and Steve were professional, courteous, very friendly and super helpful explaining all of the info involved with all of the installation. I read most of the reviews here on Smart Tech prior to hiring them and noticed that most of the reviews were for security systems. Since I am paying the bill, I should have been notified of the change and had given me the opportunity to select my own security system. I see a class action suit down the road. This past weekend my fire alarm started beeping so I called.Pye Barker for assistance, but all I got was voicemail saying that they are closed on weekends, but if I had a mechanical issue, I could call the service repair extension. I called them and they had no record of me, but fortunately, after a long time on the phone, the repair man walk me through how to turn off the beeping sound. This whole business dealing with them this weekend makes me rather nervous whether I am really protected or not. I think it's probably best that I look for another alarm service according to Yelp it sounds like the best option. P.S.
