I have worked with a fair number of contractors, over the years, and . . . without question . . . these guys are absolutely the best. I have used Rangel on two fairly significant projects. Two or so years ago, they redid our large outdoor lighting system, replacing everything with LED lights and putting everything, including our garage doors and gates, on a wireless home automation system. This month, they removed our old home entertainment system and replaced it with a new, state-of-the-art one, including custom speakers, an 8k TV, universal automation, and so forth. As part of the project, they ended up moving and updating our WiFi system and cabling. They also had to coordinate closely with drywall and painting contractors. The Rangle folks, especially Ryan and Cris, are very nice and a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable, creative, energetic, thorough, neat, and patient in explaining technology. They were ALWAYS on time and did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Their prices, while not bargain basement, are quite reasonable. On this current job, they actually outbid another, well known company. We're looking forward t our next project with Rangle. How often can you say that about home contractors? read more

They were not able to help me with my project but had the courtesy to reach out and let me know that. Why have business lost the basic common courtesies of being in business read more

Was great at responding from Yelp. Showed up. But never called or came back to offer the quote/bid.

Excellent service installing our wall TV & moving other TVs into different rooms. Ryan was the installer. He showed me how to use the new Roku TV. And installed Netflix & Prime TV. I recommend Rangel Electric & would use them again. read more

This was my first experience with Rangel. I needed a switch and extra lighting in the yard and they not only did it in 1 day, but also looked at the yard and recommended something I had been wanting, lights in the gazebo. It was all reasonably priced and looks FANTASTIC! I couldn't be happier. If I need further work done (which I'm considering lighting up some palm trees), I will definitely be calling Rangel. read more

Requested a quote from there website. I indicated that I wanted design and installation of whole house audio, home theatre installation and a security system. I received a call from that area code but was unable to pick up the call. I later called the phone number for Rangel Electric listed on there website. The person on that answered the phone was unable to answer any of my questions. I ask her "when I would be contacted by someone who could help me?". She replied "I do not have a ETA on when someone will contact you." I then asked "will it be a matter of days or weeks when I will be contacted?" She replied, " I do not have an ETA for a return contact". I said "so it will be more than a few days." Dead silence on the other end and then she hung up. Not the best way to get a contract. I will follow-up here and let you know if this is just a fluke. --Update, Ryan call me back an explained that my initial encounter was switch any answering service. He was friendly, answered all my intallation questions. So far so good...I'll update the review as we get going! read more

Ryan and the Rangel Electric team installed new Category 6 Ethernet and TV cabling throughout our home along with a central patch panel for our home network. They provided a clear and thorough proposal up front. Price, scope of work, and timing did not deviate from proposal. Ryan and his team conducted themselves professionally and honestly. I felt I got my money's worth for the job--and it was done right. I liked them so much that I'm going to try to use them again for updating our home theater system as well as additional projects for our office. Nice job Rangel Electric--you exceeded my high expectations. And great job Ryan--you represent your company well as a true professional. Oh and, YES, I would recommend them to my friends and family. read more

We had Rangel Electric install several pot lights, pendant lights and moved a ceiling fan. Miguel and Freddie did an incredibly professional job and cleaned up after themselves quite nicely. We recommend them very highly....they do great work at a price that won't break your budget. Thanks Rangel Electric for making our home a little brighter! read more

I absolutely recommend Rangel Electric, I have used them for two jobs in my home and met with many others who seemed a bit shady. They tackled all my issues, one of which involved a home theater installation. Electricians can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. They were reliable, clean and professional. Make sure they are on your list for a quote! read more

What a relief to find a Company with employees who really know their stuff and aren't interested in padding the bill with unnecessary work. I always "farm out" electrical work, as I think there is too much risk involved in trying to do it myself. In this case, an entire wall of outlets suddenly went out. It wasn't the breaker. Of course I thought this was going to involve some huge repair costing hundreds of dollars, like replacing the wall, etc. It turned out that just one outlet needed to be replaced. The serviceman also gave me a lot of other useful information and advice. He mentioned that outlets don't last forever, and mine are probably 40+ years old. He also helped me replace a flourescent bulb, one of the 4 foot long bulbs (which I am deathly afraid will burst--which can happen). He gave me some advice as to how to removed the heavy plastic scent from an air mattress I recently bought. AND he told me that his sisters have had problems with the Maytag washer that I am having problems with. All in all, a very sweet guy. He was finished with all that in an hour, and it was a total relief. Thanks so much Rangel. I couldn't recommend you more highly. read more

Greg and his team at Rangel Electric are professionals in every sense of the word. Their craftsmanship and attention to customer service were both things my wife and I appreciated the most about working with them. We hired Greg and his staff to work on our new home in La Quinta. We are not local (LA area), so it was nice to have a company as responsive to our daily calls and text messages as they were. It certainly gave us a sense of relief and a level of confidence that the work was not only going to be done well but also done according to our vision. Overall, we are very satisfied with the level of service we were provided by Rangel Electric. read more

Rangle did a ton of work for us: lights, wiring, installation of appliances, outlets, outdoor lighting and indoor and outdoor entertainment systems. Worked with them for the best part of nine months. Work teams and management great to work with. Scheduled to our needs, cleaned up everything after each install. Had to do some special painting and touch up and it came out so you can't even see where the holes were. Bids and bills right on. No surprises. Special equipment was installed in the stereo system and Ryan researched it and it sounds GREAT!! Can't give a better recommendation. Jim and Judy Keller read more

I have used the company on at least 3-4 occasions and have been completely satisfied each time. Both large and small jobs have been handled with excellence! read more

A splendid experience! On time and on budget. Extremely flexible as I changed my mind several times about custom light installations. Get this, when I was squeamish about the night time glow of a dozen newly installed can lights, they swapped out every single one the next day - without a change to my price quote! These aren't the typical stand-around workers; they hustle and know how to complete a punch list! !These guys cleaned up my house after the job. Call and ask for Ryan - responsible, professional, and easy going. Update 5/24/2013: needed some "warranty" work on a fixture and some additional installations done. AGAIN they showed up on time, and swapped out the faulty product with a smile. Rangel Rocks. read more

I highly recommend Ryan and his team a very pleasant professional. Hard working team They did the job in a clean fast and professional way The follow calls was handled well and the price was reasonable read more

Great service! Really happy to have discovered a great company for electric work here in the desert. The guys showed up on time and I was charged less than expected. Plus, the work was 100% professional quality. You do NOT want to mess around with electric...you need people you can trust! I definitely recommend this company. Thank you! read more

This is the second time we have used Wrangle's services. Unlike many other contractors in the Coachella Valley who usually arrive late and without the proper equipment, Rangel arrives on time, with three technicians, and all needed equipment. The electricians are professional, very courteous, and knowledgeable. They did not leave until the lights were all tested and we were satisfied. We very much appreciate their reasonable pricing and superb service. read more

WOW! Honest, detail focused and persistent in finding the problem, friendly, on time and very very reasonably priced. If I could give them 6 stars, I would! read more

Last year Ryan helped us select and then installed a new TV and other audio/visual components in our rental in Palm Springs. All systems worked beautifully. He sent us a set of instructions for the Harmony remote that we were able to pass on to guests. The whole system is pretty simple, and most guests are able to use it without problems. This year the last component of the old system failed. Ryan picked out a reasonably priced option for us and installed it quickly. It's not easy to find service providers as knowledgeable and fast as Ryan. Thank you! read more

It was very easy to establish a full understanding of our electrical needs during the initial discussions and price estimate process. The estimator was very cordial, knowledgeable and provided a full estimate within 1 day. The work was completed within the time frame agreed and the installation and cleanup was first class. It is so nice to find people that are friendly, know their business, and offer competative prices. I would use Rangel again for my electrical needs. read more

Wow! They came to my condo, made great recommendations. I had to return to Seattle that day so the rest had to be done in my absence. A couple of weeks later I had my daughter drive from Laguna to check it out. She was blown away how efficient they were at installing the entertainment system with all the gear in a wet bar we never used, and made it all wireless with one remote. She commented how clean they left the condo. I'm very pleased. read more

Rangel electric did a great job installing new circuit breakers and upgrading the wiring for my spa. Greg was very accommodating, came by and gave a quote that was exactly the price I paid in the end. His team was great, talked me through all the work they did, they did a great clean job. I will definitely be working with Rangel electric for all my electrical work. read more

I am based out of Newport Beach and manage MANY properties for my boss. When electrical issues came up Ryan Manning from Rangel was on top of it for me. There was great communication and the job was done in a timely manner. I could trust him to do the work from Newport too which saved me a headache and time. I was very pleased with the work that was done. read more

I've been working with Greg, Ryan and their crew for over 10 years and there's a good reason to stay with the same company: punctuality, professionalism, job know how, competitive pricing and friendly staff. Rangel Electric has it all! read more

Rangel Electric is awesome! I chose them based on their excellent Yelp reviews to hang a large lamp in a high entry way ceiling. They showed up on time, didn't charge for an estimate and did a great job. The price was reasonable and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. While they were there I asked if they could do another small job and they did it for $50 more. Based on my single experience, I feel like this is a good, honest company that does good work and cares about their reputation. Highly recommended! read more

These guys know customer service. I have used Rangel Electric on several occasions between my home and my business. They are prompt to respond, very professional and very courteous with fair and honest pricing. They are my go to for all my electrical needs and repairs. read more

Rangel Electric helped us with our kitchen lighting project. We were pleased with the communication between them and us regarding the project. Joe and Dallas were friendly, professional and we were pleased with their work. As sometimes happens, their arrival was later than planned so the project had to be extended into a second day, which was a little inconvenient for us, but they kept us informed of the status prior to arrival and we appreciated that effort. Bottom line....We are very happy with the look of our new kitchen lighting and would not hesitate to recommend them! read more

Had Rangel do some work at the house recently. They were top-notch professionals the entire time. The estimator (Ryan) was really professional, great to work with, responsive to calls, emails, and texts. The techs were really fantastic too. They arrived on-time and put all the necessary protective coverings on the floor and furniture and did a proper cleanup when the job was done. I would recommend them to anyone! 5 stars! read more

Responsive, professional, and reliable are just three words I'd use to describe the staff at Rangel Electric. Because of their outstanding work installing our surround sound system, we called them back to upgrade the lighting in our bathrooms. We were not disappointed! Both jobs were done with our satisfaction in mind and we are more than pleased. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any electrical needs we might have! From a former teacher, I'd give this company and their staff a grade of an A+!!! read more

Damn I thought I had posted a review. And if any company here in the desert deserves a 5 star review its Rangel Electric. From the first call they were above and beyond professional. They fixed loose switches, hung two ceiling fans, hung three pendent lights and a dining room light. They showed up on time and finished faster than I expected. They were extremely careful about cleaning up after themselves. I have more work and they will be the first and only electricians I call. I've had nearly zero luck with contractors in the Coachella Valley so it's finally good to know there is at least one company with honesty and integrity in the desert. Thank you to the whole Rangel team read more

The folks at Rangel are the most professional and knowledgeable people I have had working at my home. Period. They care, they take care of your home, they do their homework. They bring the right resources and do the work until it is perfect. They care to leave your home spotless when they drive away. Are they the most inexpensive you will find? No. But they are the best you will find, and I will always pay more for this level of integrity, work and service. read more

I'm rewiring my house for home automation. I was able to handle most of it myself, but I had trouble with one of the switches as it was wired differently from the others. I called and got someone to come out. Edgar arrived within the hour. He studied the wiring diagram for a few minutes and then was able to up with a solution. From what I read on the Internet I was afraid that he would have to go up into the attic to drop another wire. But, he figured it out another way! Super happy. Would recommend. read more

So Rangel came out to give me a bid on some work...they rushed thru the house...took NO notes...and never called me back with an estimate. I called and left a message but still NO bid. read more

I had electrical issues in my garage and could not figure out the problem. I called Rangel on Tuesday and they said they couldn't be out until Monday. Since my garage was torn up where I couldn't park cars, I asked for an earlier appointment. The very nice receptionist squeezed me in the next day. Miguel arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently to solve the problem. I am very pleased with the work and the price was reasonable. Rangel is now my go-to electrician. They came by to review our projects and never called back with a quote.

Called three different electricians and Rangel got back to us quickly and scheduled us in. As luck would have it a competitor called and could do the job quicker which worked out better for us. Just wanted to give these folks a shout out for their quick response! read more

Greg Rangel showed up to my house after I called last minute because my fan broke. He came on a Saturday which is usually their day off. He showed up, put my fan together, and replaced my ceiling fan and mounted the remote control holder to my wall. I was expecting my wallet to get drained by this, but the price I was quoted made me feel like I was under paying! Excellent service and will use again for sure. read more
