I have been frequenting this coffee shop through covid to not only support a neighborhood business but also to get good coffee and leave the house. I wanted to wait to write a review until I was able to enjoy the inside of the coffee shop as well. There is a lot to love about Command Coffee, it has a drive thru, excellent customer service, great prices, and the inside has a classy design where you don't immediately feel like your getting a hipster overload, like so many other coffee shops do. The coffee is fresh, and the lattes are out of this world. My favorite iced latte is when you put toffee nut syrup, it's refreshing and energizing. I was so excited to see a new coffee place in the Fall Creek neighborhood! I went through the drive through - they have a pretty basic menu, but I was able to get any espresso drink iced, so I chose a caramel macchiato. 24 oz for $5.50 - bigger than a venti at Starbucks and cheaper as well. It was beautiful and it tasted delicious! Plus, the workers were so friendly and nice (and properly masked). I can't wait to go back. I hope they start a rewards program of some kind because I have the feeling I'll be visiting often! read more

Average coffee. Good customer service. This looks like the site of a former fast food restaurant that went out of business that they renovated into a coffee shop. This place is seriously lacking in cool-factor. Theres nothing unique or special about this place to help it stand out in the crowded sector of independent coffee shops. Its bland inside. Nothing trendy. The furniture looks like it was taken from a courtyard marriott. The only thing keeping this place in business is the occasional butler student who comes here for some peace and quiet. read more

This has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops, and so far I've only been twice. First time, I had an iced coffee with oat milk. Second time, a simple drip coffee with oat milk. Both were so good! And the customer service was great as well. I absolutely LOVE that they have a drive-thru. And the prices? Super affordable in my opinion. I'm SO excited to try some of the espresso drinks, lattes, etc. Also, super excited to try their breakfast options, especially as more come available. One of my favorite coffee spots in Indianapolis! I've tried more drinks then I can count, but I always look forward to the seasonal picks. Great atmosphere to study, but try and get there before rush hour midday. The drive thru is another reason I keep choosing Command, and I've almost filled out my punchcard. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now because I passed it every day on my way to work. My husband and I finally stopped here today and went through the drive-thru. I still want to go inside and check out the ambience but for today, the drive-thru was our best option because we had a lot of things to do. My husband got the chai tea latte and said it was very good. I got an iced latte made with almond milk and sugar-free cinnamon vanilla syrup. And it was wonderful. I haven't seen sugar-free cinnamon vanilla as an option at very many coffee shops. Normally I have to use sugar-free vanilla and then I have them put cinnamon powder in it, but this was a nice combination of the two. read more

Driven by here several times recently and finally stopped by. First, I LOVE that it's a local place with a drive through (because it used to be a Starbucks ). I travel all over town for work and tend to frequent Starbucks because of their drive throughs and it's just convenient. I ordered a large oak milk chai with lavender and a blueberry muffin. My drink was ok, but didn't wow me and tasted a little watery. I also didn't love the muffin. Sorry if they got it from a local baker, but it just tasted a little processed/store bought to me. Which isn't bad, but I think I hyped it up in my head that I would be blown away. That's my fault. Maybe my taste buds were off that day. I'm really loving this place! It's conveniently located at a busy intersection so I'm passing it often and am always tempted to stop. The staff are always very friendly and spark up conversation while waiting for your drink. Someone else here had mentioned that this is the first independent coffee shop that offers a drive thru in Indy. That was a huge selling point for me when I first heard about this place. The building used to be a Starbucks and I kept hoping another coffee shop would open up here. We always use the drive thru and have never been disappointed. Simple, quality offerings. Not to mention their prices are better! For example, ordering a 20 oz vanilla latte at Human Bean (54th & Keystone - also a drive thru) will cost you about $5.50, but here it's $4.96. I love Command Coffee! Its a great neighborhood coffee shop, but with the convenience and feel of one of the major brands. I love that they have a drive through, it makes an early morning coffee run just that much more easy. They also have Excellent prices. It took the cashier two times to get my order and I waited for over 20 minutes and had to ask for my order again. The person behind me got his breakfast and coffee before I did. There was only one working coffee machine according to the employees and that was their excuse for slow service. I was disappointed that there was not caramel flavoring but my latte was still really good. The breakfast food was okay. I don't think I would get it again. I got the avocado sandwich. I had been thinking about trying Command Coffee for about a month, and I finally decided to treat myself to it today, expecting that because it's local, it may cost a bit more. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their prices were significantly cheaper than my typical Starbucks order. I was charged $4.50 for a 24oz lavender latte with oatmilk. Past the price, the latte was extremely good, and the customer service in the drive thru was as good as these other reviews have said. I'll definitely be returning. read more

Command offers almond milk alternative for dairy-free/vegan alternative. Very large tasty danishes. Had a pre-made Core Life salad to go last time I was there. It was fresh and delicious.
