This hotel has dual pane windows that keeps the noise out and the room that my wife and I stayed at was located next to the highway, this room had black out curtains. This room was spacious, this room had two queen beds and a nice sofa for watching the flat screen T.V. This hotel has a really nice breakfast and many options to choose from This hotel has plenty of parking and a large pool and spa. This hotel is located near many restaurants and shops. There is a bowling alley just down the street with a restaurant that all the locals eat at and a full bar.

Not the ritz but a very good experience. Rooms have been remodeled and looked very clean. The breakfast provided was one of the better I have seen at motel chains. Note: Stayed three nights. Rooms were not serviced daily unless you notified the front desk the day before. The employees were all business. Probably the best value in Bishop, or one of the best.

Finally a place that looks just like the pictures. The room was clean and modern. We took a trip to Reno, NV and stayed here as the halfway point. They have the most scrumptious breakfast buffet each day 7am to 9am. It's busier on weekends. We actually only planned to stay here once but because we loved it so much, we stayed again on our way back. In our first day we checked in at midnight and there was someone at the front desk. There is a delicious restaurant right next store that you can get 10% off if you stay at comfort inn (not sure if you have to be a member or not to get the discount). Aaron's Schatts Roadhouse is a delicious place for burgers and sandwiches ! They also have salads etc. Right next to that is a Starbucks walking distance! Couldn't have picked a better spot. They also have a pool.

Room infested with ants and crickets.

Would not want to come back here. There's ants and crickets everywhere including the room. There's stray cats roaming around the property. The walls are thin, the curtains are barely holding together, and the bathroom faucets are cracked. There's no vacancy when I was here so I was told to sleep in a room with ants and crickets.

When we got there at 7:30 PM they said our room wasn't ready yet?? For a few others also as well. Given the circumstances of a struggle-economy, I was like fine, whatever, we can get dinner. On Sundays, most restaurants in the area close at 8p, and kitchens close at 7:30. Sucks. El Pollo Loco it is because the famous BBQ place next door has a 30+min wait. We went to get the key upon return and there was another guest, a girl who said she went to the movies to kill time also. We were supposed to be in a smoke-freeroom but I can clearly smell smoke in the vincinity. Gross and disgusted. The electricity was out for at least 7 rooms and they offered us 50% off that night. We luckily we had camper lights... The next day we keft and came back around 2pm and the lights still were out. We asked the maintenance guy and he had it fixed in 15mins. Suspicious. Heard a couple of neighbors coughing. Probably not a clean place to stay. They had packed breakfast to go. A paperbag of an apple and a banana, OJ, a choice of muffin, a choice of hot or cold "entree" (Jimmy John's small breakfast sandwich or a burrito). Staff was nice, warm. They tried hard to resolve the issues Place is just overused or dilapilating.

We shared a loft apartment (~$200 a night after taxes and fees). Very clean and comfortable, loved the in suite kitchen area, dining area, and in suite bathroom. The common area was also useful to get some quick tea / coffee, get filtered water and do some laundry. The atmosphere of the whole property is organized, clean, quiet, and friendly. Highly recommend for folks who are coming to Bishop for outdoor activities and want a relaxing and comfy experience.

I'm so glad we stayed here. We were two adults and one child and stayed in a private family room with one bed and a bunk bed. The bunk beds have little curtains which our kiddo liked. I didn't totally trust that the barrier on the top bunk was high enough to prevent my kiddo from falling off so I had her sleep in the bottom bunk. The room was small but we knew that and it was enough space for three of us. We loved how it was decorated down to the individually wrapped towels in the bathroom. No TV which I also liked and forced us to hang out together! We were on the second floor and there were comfy rocking chairs on the deck where we sat at night and enjoyed our wine. We were able to borrow the wine glasses in the community kitchen which was very convenient. We also spent time on the couches outside the kitchen and the Adirondack chairs in the yard - just a lot of open places to hang out which was nice. The airstream store is super cute. We didn't get a chance to try their coffee but did buy one of the treats and also some gifts from the gift shop and played yard games in front. Schatt's bakery is next door which was a nice bonus and we grabbed breakfast there in the morning and brought it back. The entire property was clean and well maintained. Walking distance to the bowling alley where we went for a couple hours to play and also get a delicious steak (yes from the bowling alley cafe - no joke!). We'd definitely stay here again when passing through Bishop.

The bathroom in room #8 was super small and had a tiny sink. Had a kitchen which was nice with a full size fridge. Comfy mattress. Decent wifi speed when I did a speedtest but decided to stick with my TMobile cellular data and had good signal. Basic Cable TV but not HD so picture was fuzzy. Parking is right outside your unit. Have to back out of your space but wasn't too bad. It was 100 degrees in town but once I set the AC to 68 degrees, I was able to get cool in the room. Adriana at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is two short blocks from Hwy 395 so very quiet. Walking distance to several restaurants. Overall, it was fine for a solo fishing trip.

It went on for several hours until almost 11 PM. When it happened again the second night, I contacted to front office to complain to the owner. To my surprise, I learned that the dogs were his! I listened politely as he told me he had no idea the dogs could be heard in other rooms, and that I shouldn't worry about them because they were fine. Didn't believe either of those claims. But I didn't hear the dogs again after that.

Pros: The entrance is nice. I can tell they upgraded it recently. Looks clean and I can see the effort made to make it nice. They have water and ice in the lobby, which is nice. The fitness room is decent for a motel. Breakfast isn't much but it's filling. It works. It's toast, cereal, bagels, egg whites, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, apples, milk, peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese and coffee. It's not gourmet but it works. The breakfast place is nice, clean and upgraded. I do feel like they try their best to make this place comfortable. The effort shows. I love that the entrance to the rooms is indoors. It's walking distance to restaurants and the park. I'm assuming this is the downtown. I had a dog and they were very friendly and accommodating. I love that they have a bathtub. I have toddlers so it was a nice way to bathe them. Plenty of parking. Cons: One of the major disappointments for me is the wifi. It's extremely slow. This is a big major point for me because I have to work on my laptop and when videos aren't loading it's difficult to work. The doors look old and outdated. It just lowers the aesthetic. There are no elevators, which I already knew. I can overlook that though, my main compliant is the WiFi, especially for the price.

This was our first time and we had our dog so finding a pet friendly hotel that's decent, is always a challenge. This one checked all the boxes. It's close to the bakery and walking distance to other fast food and eateries. Parking can be tricky if you get there too late. But there were more spaces on the other side that we didn't know about until we walked our dog. There's also a bowling alley nearby. We only stayed for one night and it really was more like a 12- hour stay but it was enough to get rested, fed and our room was comfortable. The breakfast selection was pretty well stocked. It's a grab and go style so we were able to take it on the road with us. I would consider staying here again.
